Asher's POVThe door of my room swung open and I heard Chris's voice, "My bad." then he slammed it shut. I stood up, grabbed my shirt and put it on as I walked out. I saw Chris standing in front of the door at the end of the hallway."What are you doing here?" I asked as soon as I got closer to him.He turned to face me, surprise overwriting his features, "What the hell are you doing here?" he asked."This is my party, well Ben's party." I sighed. His expression softened, "Wait, this isn't a college party?""It isn't, it's just a bunch of people from his school."He chuckled, "Yeah, you're the type to only go to a party if your crush is there or you live there."I laughed but the fact that he was just standing at the door didn't leave my mind, "What's wrong? I mean, why were you just standing there? You looked like you were watching the people insi-""ahhnnn~" a high-pitched moan came from behind the door,

Alex's POV It was one of those clubs that had dimlly lit neon lights, the music was loud and booming, at first it made my ears hurt but as the night progressed, all I wanted to do was dance. I was afraid that they would see that our IDs were fake but they barely even looked at it before serving us our drinks. Zoe went on the dance floor after just a tiny sip, she said that the music was calling to her, I followed and danced along with her. I felt awkward at first but with the flashing neon lights, and beats that made me want to move my body some type of way, it wasn't long before I actually began to enjoy myself. We danced with a bunch of girls, grinding, twerking, and some even kissing on each other, it began to feel crowded and suffocating. We made my way out of the crowd to get another drink. The dj changed the song and Zoe suddenly perked up, "Oh. My. God. This is my fucking jam." she downed her drink and darted back to the dance floor. I was rushing to g

Asher's POVThis party sucks, I can't believe that Emma talked me into this."Come on Asher, at least look like you're enjoying this." she pouted, she looked like an angry squirrel every time she did that, "Or would you rather be here with Alex?" she asked with her arms crossed."What?" I question, taken aback by her sudden question."I know that you're in love with her," she rolled her eyes, "only a blind person wouldn't be able to see the way you look at her.""How do I look at her?" I asked, confused."Ugh," she groaned, "you look at her like the male love interest looks at the female love interest in telenovelas." she said, emphasizing the word 'telenovelas' and pronouncing it expertly, "What? You've never heard of telenovelas, pinche gringo.""I just- you speak spanish?" I was even more confused now.She slapped her hand to her forehead, "That's what my last name's for?" her eyes scanned my face and she noted my visible pe

Cole's POVZoe's been glaring at me since we sat down, before the prom, Alex and I were still dating so we asked to be seated at the same circle which defeated the entire pupose of the masquerade dance if we all sat together but it was something the girls wanted to do."I can't believe you Cole," she finally spoke up, "you even came with her." she rolled her eyes.Fuck, I've had it with everyone being mad at me, "What the hell was I supposed to do? Beg her to come to the dance with me and then break up with her after?" I yelled.A hand came on the seat next to mine and pulled it out, "Sorry, is this seat taken?" I looked up to see that smug bastard's face, and standing next to him... Alex?!He pulled out the other seat next to Zoe for Alex then sat next to me. Amanda didn't like it but Zoe looked freaking ecsatic, "Asher, where's your jacket?" she asked.Alex chuckled and he smiled like it was some kind of inside joke between them. I couldn'

Alex's POV The winter break was finally came to a close with one day left but Asher and I still weren't dating, when I woke up after we'd... I told him that I'd be his girlfriend but he acted like he didn't say anything and now things were weird between us, I mean we still talk and everything but we haven't gone on the date he promised and after that day, the nightly visits stopped. My phone vibrated on the couch and for once, I was actually reluctant to check who it was, I grabbed my phone and turned it on, all I saw was a notification from one of the games saying that my energy had been restored and the message from Cole that I still hadn't answered in the past two weeks. I sighed and tapped on the game notification, it was a merge game and it helped me pass the time until my phone dinged and Asher's name popped up at the top of the screen. Asher: will you go on a date with me? right now. I stared at the message for what felt like hours before final
