Jonathan arrived later than usual, after taking a shower he entered Alexandra's room. Lights were off except for the lava lamp illuminating on the nightstand. Alexandra lays soundless on the bed with her eyes peacefully closed. He smiled and sat next to her bed. He wondered how someone can look so gorgeous while sleeping, with her mouth partly opened. A little bit of drool sticking at the corner of her mouth. He wiped it off using his thumb. He was startled as she grabbed his wrist. Alexandra frowned and cast open her eyes."Were you asleep?" He asked.Clicking her tongue, she lets go of his hand. "No, I was practicing for my funeral." 

Halton sat on his work desk, listening to some of the audio files Alexandra had sent. Jane Warren sat opposite to him, pretending to review the paperwork he handed her while secretly admiring how his face turned stoic as he listened.  They were distracted by Halton's phone ringing beside his Macbook.  He picked up the call without glancing at the ID. "Hello?"  "It's me...Evan." A meek and hesitant voice said.  He was taken aback hearing the soothing sound of the woman he loved. "What's up?" He asked, a smile adorning his handsomeness. Halton was woken up by the bothersome beep of his alarm. He crept his hand and around the bedside stand and finally silenced it. Getting up from the heavenly bed, he scratched his bare chest and let out a droopy yawn. He dawdled towards the bathroom and brushed his teeth while still standing in the shower, wiped the wet mirror to reflect on his face, and shaved his stubble. He went inside the walk-in closet and got dressed in a black, three-piece formal suit. He skipped preparing breakfast since he will be eating at an Italian restaurant like every morning. He was too lazy to cook breakfast for himself so he preferred eating at a restaurant. After locking the door, he got in his Mercedes and drove away, after a few minutes on the road something clicked.
