Mack was just regaining consciousness when his phone alerted him of an incoming message.  He had a throbbing headache and he had to take a couple of minutes to clear the fog from his head.  By the time he recieved the message, he was fully awake and in pain.  The message was from Sierra letting him know that Madison was safe and sound, in Xavier's vehicle and the combination to the doors was 5-6-7-3-8-2.  Mack finally was able to let out a breath in relief!He quickly called Thompson, but for some reason he wasn't answering his phone, so Mack left him a voicemail letting him know what was happening.  His next call was to the Chief to inform him of his location and where he would be headed.  He knew that THAT would get his ass chewed for disobeying a direct order to stay out of the investigation but he didn't care!  When he tried to start the car there was no power.  He popped the hood and found the battery was missing!  "DAMN I

It only took Mack roughly twenty minutes to drive to the location that Sierra had given him.  He parked far enough away that the car couldn't be seen, just in case Brent was still loose.  As he neared the Black Altima he readied his weapon.  He saw Madison asleep on the back seat as he peered through the windows.  Once he made absolutely sure that it was safe he punched in the combination and was relieved to find that Madison was unharmed.  He wanted to wake he rup and move her to his car, but briefly hesitated.  He brushed a stray strand of hair away from her tear streaked face.  "Madison...honey...are you awake?"When she looked upat him he could see all the tears that she hald back just over flow.  She hurried into his welcoming arms and he just held her as she sobbed.  "Daddy please don't make me go to school tomorrow!  I want to stay home wiht you and mommy...where it's safe."  She sounded so weak and fragile.

Mack, Sierra and Xavier were talking to the Chief after Brent Cummings was taken into custody.  "Mack, if you want to take couple more days off for Madison I will understand."  He looked towards Sierra.  "Sierra it is good ot see that you are okay and back with us!  Do you need any time off to fully recover?  I wouldn't mind if you wanted to get back to work right now.  Whatever your decision may be I will understand."  It was obvious that the Chief was happy to see both Sierra and Mack unharmed, all though they were yelled at for deliberately keeping him in the dark and disobeying orders."Thank you, I think that I'll take a couple days off, I have some unfinished business to attend to.  Do you think that I could borrow Mack and a couple officers?"  She didn't really want to explain to her boss why she needed them."By the look on your face I can tell that I probably don't want to know why you need them."  Chief Lewis

"I GET A PHONE CALL!  I WANT MY PHONE CALL!  I AM GOING TO KEEP YELLING UNTIL I GET MY PHONE CALL!"  Brent was pissed and had a splitting headache.  He couldn't believe that he had been caught!  How the hell did this happen!  He mused, sitting in his jail cell."You will get your phone call when we are damn good and ready to give it to you!"  The officer's weren't about to show THIS guy any mercy, after all the people that he tortured, plus going after one of thier own!  "Billy, will you go and get a second officer to help you escort him to the phone, so he could get his phone call...in about twenty minutes."A young, good looking officer turned to face his superior.  "It will take about that long just to find somebody who WILL help!"  Billy reluctantly got up and went upstairs to get another officer, showing that he wasn't at all happy with his new assignment."Who is it that you want to call anyway?"&n

Once Brent was safely back in his holding cell, he patiently waited for the officers to bring in Dwight...his mistake!  This was the reason he worked alone!  The more people knew about his plans the more they got in the way!  He should neve rhave had this damn obsession over Sierra!  It was WAY more trouble than it was worth!Brent was day dreaming about all the w3ays he was going to torture Dwight.  He toyed with different ideas as the officers brought Dwight to his cell.  Dwight almost froze in fear when he noticed Brent in the cell that the officers were walking him towards.  He dug his heels in as they neared the door.  "I want a different cell!"The officers continued walking him towards the cell.  "Sorry we don't have any more available cells."  It took about fifteen minutes just for the officers to get Dwight into the cell.  He fought them like his life depended on it!  Ironic that my life would end
