“Give me the umbrella,” Reign said when we got out of the house through the main door. One of his men handed him the black umbrella.  I don’t have any idea what Reign will do with the umbrella. It’s still early in the morning, and there’s no heat from the sun yet. If there is one, it still can’t hurt our skin. It’s already given that his house is big and Reign came from a wealthy family and himself, but I still can’t help and be surprised when I see the whole of this vast house. Significantly, it was located at the top of the island, and you can see everything below.  Ostentatious. That’s what can describe the exterior of Reign’s home. The way out of his house was full of Bermudas. Its width is like a manor. I didn’t know that this was the front of his house, surrounded by rare flowers. I can’t even describe the beauty

“What’s your reason to help me?” I asked, trying to act like I overlooked her purpose. It’s given that he like Reign, and I don’t care, but why drag me in her feelings?   Sharmon did not answer and immediately turned her eyes to the two guards behind me. She seemed bothered to speak further because of them.   “First of all, can we talk privately without them?” I just raised my right eyebrow at what she said. Sharmon seemed afraid that they would hear our current conversation. But maybe, even if I want to get rid of them, nothing will happen.    “How can I do that? They won’t listen to me because I’m not their boss, and they aren’t my men. They are under Reign and not mine,” I answered directly. Her expression changed. I don’t like her because she’s something strange.   She clicks her tongue slowly. I think she’s already irritated because of what I reacted to, “They will. Just try,”  

Chatters. Clanking glasses. Familiar noise, just like the one in the auction, while place was filled with rich laughter from different high-class people. I looked at Reign while his blue eyes were staring at me worriedly.  “Are you okay?” Reign asked without changing his worried expression, “Why are you so pale? What’s the matter?” He added while putting his hands on both of my cheeks. I tried to open my mouth, and I was glad that it’d not frozen anymore. “I’ve been working for two years in a luxurious bar, and yes, there’s a lot of rich customers I served inside that place but this event,” I turned my gaze downstairs and observed the people who were out of my league, “I don’t fit in this ball, Reign. Maybe I should just go back to my room and sleep, right? I’m better off there,” then I turned my eyes to him. Reign’s expression

“The lady’s food was mixed with anticoagulant rodenticides,” who’s talking? “A rat poison,” a familiar voice. I slowly opened my eyes. The light blue decor dawned on me. Where am I? I felt a painful sensation in my throat. “Yes, Mister Jaccobich. It’s a rat poison that can end a lady’s life if not treated promptly. Fortunately, I am here on the island. If not, you may be mourning this woman right now,” I looked at the source of the voices. Two people were standing near the edge of the bed I was currently lying on; one was unfamiliar wearing a tuxedo while a stethoscope was hanging around his neck, and the other was Reign wearing a dress shirt.  They didn’t notice that I was awake, “Yes. Thank you so much, doctor. You saved my woman’s life. Good to know that you’re a poison expert. So how is she? Any prescriptions

“Where’s Thraia?” I asked when one of the maids go to my room to fetch me for lunch. It’s been a month since I was poisoned, and the doctor has left for the final check-up. He said that I don’t have to wait for another few months because the poison in my body has completely disappeared.   Reign stopped Doctor Greg and asked to have lunch here first, but the doctor rejected the offer because he still had something to take care of. Speaking of Reign, I closed my eyes and giggled. I don’t know, but I started to get to know him.   “She was on leave Miss,” I suddenly fixed myself. I forgot I had someone with me inside this room. I let out a deep sigh and face the maid. Fortunately, I barely turned my back on her earlier.    “Why?” I asked because I didn’t know she had left. I saw her last week inside the house, but I noticed something strange about Thraia, she seems to be avoiding me, and now she was on leave without bot
