Lahat ng Kabanata ng Mr. Mafia, On Your Knees: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

AbrahamAgain? You're drinking much. Consecutive second day", Shabbir frowned at the door. I didn't look back at him and gulped another one."What happened, Abraham?", he held my shoulder, giving a squeeze. "I can't understand what you're doing.  Why did you behave like this to Amayra when you knew the truth?"I replied nothing to him, just kept finishing one peg after another. I made her involved with the same thing from which I wanted to save her. My love....Eight months ago,"I have a proposal for you, Abraham", Shashank said. Sitting in my office, we were about to discuss the new new deal of Portugal."What proposal?", I narrowed my eyebrows, taking a sip of my coffee."You may know Amayra", he said with a smirk.I paused right there, gaping at him. I didn't know why her name affected me so much at that moment, maybe because Shashank didn't know I had an interes

ShabbirWhen I was talking to Victor about how to resolve issues with Arben, we heard the sound of the door. We halted there, peering at 6 feet away from us. Abraham walked out of the room, hanging his head. He looked tired, frustrated and broken! He held the railings of the corridor, keeping his head down. My eyes were on him."You're thinking the same?", Victor asked, his eyes on him too."Hmm", I muffled."He is stupid in this type of things. Really! Why did he deliberately cause all this? Now Amayra will hate him even more", he shrugged."I hope it won't cause him a problem", I said."It will, Shabby. He doesn't deserve her hatred when he is doing every possible thing to keep her safe and happy", he said, looking at Abraham.Abraham was panting near the corridor, then he walked a bit towards the rocking chair and pushed himself down, covering his face with his both hands."See! It's affecting him. He is aga

AmayraIt took me a lot of guts to do all this. However, I didn't want to be the same dumb girl as always. Even if I was doing all this for my dada, I was securing myself too."If you agree with these conditions, I'm ready to marry you", I look straight at him. There was a silence of few seconds between us, only tiny eye contact. I tried hard to look into his eyes intensely the way a girl should feel while meeting the person she was going to get married to. But I was bland, my attempt was wasted. He was nothing but a random man I was talking to."You're not missing a chance to surprise me", he giggled. "But what if I don't agree to this and still marry you""This was the decent option, not the worst one, Daniel. I have my dada's blood going through my veins. I can get my work done, by hook or by crook", I glared at him."It'll be fun to deal with you, Amayra", he smirked. "At least you're not boring like other girls I dated

AngelaI got stunned when I saw Amayra with Daniel at the entrance and my eyes immediately shifted to Abraham. His eyes were frozen on her and also I could see the redness in his eyes increasing. He tightened up his fists while looking at them. I was so clueless about what will happen next that my eyes kept shifting from him to her.Amayra looked nervous than shocked. Her jaw was dropped and she tried to make a distance from Daniel by moving. As a girl, I could exactly read her hidden gestures. But why would she try to drive Daniel away? Did it even matter to her that Abraham was there? She lowered her eyes and looked away while Daniel pressed her closer to her."Dang!", Victor huffed from behind. "Now there's a new scene. I hope boss won't lose it""I hope so", I looked at Abraham again. He looked so pissed and his expressions were clearly stating that he could literally beat Daniel's ass off for being so close to Amayra. These tw

Amayra "Amayra!", he exclaimed as I questioned that. "Yes, Abraham. Who are you to me? What's our relationship? In which right you're asking me to stay away from him?", I urged, looking straight into his eyes. I knew it could anger him and that was why I uttered those things. I wanted him to show his anger, do something inappropriate so that I could actually hate him. After having so many reasons, I still needed more reasons to hate him. "Amayra", he huffed, hoisting his hand to touch my cheek. I looked away, moving my face. "I care for you", his voice seemed helpless, broken and tired. I glanced at him, peering into his helpless eyes. "Let me go", I attempted to free myself from his arms but he had held me so passionately that I couldn't push him away. His arms were wrapped around me, nuzzling me gently. And I really wanted him to soothe me like that. "I can't. Until you hear out everything", he husked. "Daniel is a jerk. He
