The Beginning.

"At the beginning of time, there was the one and he was the light. He was alone for a long time and his name was Alkahiri," Jaishu Kokozu started to narrate the story of how Alkahiri created the universe for the children. The children were all sitting on the wooden floor, paying attention except one who was dozing off. All the children of the noble clans must go through schooling and when they turn ten they get shipped off to Camp Shitori for military training. "I remember my grandmother telling me this story over and over again. Even now I can still hear her gentle voice in my head," Karui mumbled and smiled briefly. "What I remember most is how stubborn and inattentive Konoiki was during those classes, and of course your beautiful grandmother," Hana replied. "He was always dozing off too, just like that kid over there," he pointed at the dozing kid and chuckled even more. Hana joined him and the smiling turned to a peal of loud laughter. They both laughed for some minutes. "Hav

Welcome to the Dessert.

"At the heart of the desert lies the lands of the Tuariz. Tuarland is the greatest kingdom in the desert lands and one of the only two kingdoms that were not conquered by the second Mashirotzu, Mikato Sanada. "Mikato launched a war against the whole of Mundillum after his brother, the first Mashirotzu was betrayed and murdered by the Elves of Prasiemgard. Mikato's wars led to the birth of the largest and strongest empire in the known history of Mundillum. "He defeated the Elves coalition armies at the battle of Bravegya and decapitated four of the seven great Elven-kings who plotted his brother's assassination. The others fell in battle. "The Elves' final attempt to protect their lands and people against Mikato and his armies failed when the dragons descended on them burning two thousand of their armies in minutes. "He defeated the Dwarves at Stonehaven and by the time he was done, only the Nubianians and the Tuariz resisted him enough for him to lose interest in conquering them."

A Rain of Fire.

"Drink Lord Konoiki! I thought you dragon-riding pretty boys are supposed to be able to hold your liquor." Prince Rauthorn screamed, his face red from all the alcohol he had been drinking. "Wait a moment my Dwarf lord, let me catch my breath," Konoiki struggled to breathe. "Ah ah ah, who would think a descendant of the great Mikhato the cruel would be beaten by a dwarf." "What are you talking about, Prince Rauthorn? You dwarves are nothing but crazy shagging, fighting, and drinking machines!" The whole room burst into a chorus of drunken laughter. Prince Rauthorn suddenly stood up, anger in his eyes. "What in hel did you call my people, you white-haired whoreson?" The two stared at each other for a moment and the whole room went silent. They both moved closer to each other by putting their hands on the table and leaning in, their faces nearly touching, then the anger in their faces slowly disappeared and turned into big grins. "You know what, Lord Konoiki? You are fucking right

Tale of a Dragon and a Fox.

Lord Hanada called a council meeting after receiving the security report from Master Yoshida who is the grandmaster of the black hands. The report stated that a terrorist organization, loyal to the darkened lord had risen in some parts of Mundillum, and they are growing at an alarming state. "The organization is called the sixth sun and they have several dark mages who survived the last great war in their ranks," Lord Hanada announced. Lord Hanada Sanada is the immediate brother of the current Mashirotzu and the Lord Minister of the realm. In the Mashirotzu's absence, the responsibility of ruling falls on his shoulder. The lords of the Hanara, the Yokozuna, the Hirotoki, and the Aokami clans and lords of some other lesser clans made up the council. It had been like this since the founding of the kingdom. Even the lords of the Kazakares and the giants of Humshu island attended. Lord Yokohama Yokozuna came dressed in the red armor of his clan. The Yokozuna is a clan of big dark-haire

Assault on Khalfi 1(Sabato's POV)

"Khalfi was the original mission and an easy one, initially. The Sultan was suspicious, that must have been why he reached out to the black hands to reclaim Khalfi instead of using the Tuaree armed forces. Khalfi was one of the smallest villages in the northernmost borders of Tuarland. The residents are farmers but like most Tuariz, they're tough and strong-willed. When the border guards protecting their little village were killed by the invading Orc raiders, they took up arms to protect their lands, but most of the men were massacred, and the women were forced into servitude and violated in unspeakable ways.Captain Hadeshi returned after a day and most of the men were still suffering the hangover from the previous night. Tuaree hospitality is a combination of the best drinks I ever tasted and don't even get me started on the women."Get up you a bunch of drunken bastards," Captain Hadeshi thundered as he walked into the little room rented to us by the brothel owner who must have bee

Assault on Khalfi 2 (Sabato's POV)

The captain and I rushed to the camp and when we arrived, the whole place was busy with preparations for the trip to Ashkur, but no attack and no Ashasha present. "Captain!" Saito called, as he rushed out to meet the captain. "What is it, Saito?" "We got a message last night. The goat messenger wouldn't talk to anyone but you. You know how they are." "Well, I'm not surprised he wouldn't like you very much. They don't like being called goats," he mumbled as he walked up to the Yagrei. "Hello, my friend. Forgive my subordinate's disrespect. What message do you bring?" he asked. The Yagrei is a bipedal goat-like race. They have large horns and furry torsos similar to goats but there is nothing they hate more than being called goats. They are blessed with the ability to move through space, so they are the messengers in all the lands of Mundillum. They don't interfere in politics or wars, they would get your message to anyone anywhere for a price no matter who you fight for. This make

When Snow turned Red.

The last time the gates of Snowfalls were breached, it was done by the sixth Mashirotzu and his twin sister. They rode the two great dragons Starflamer and Marble into the city, followed by an army of loyalists made up of Dwarves, Elves, and the little human kingdoms bold enough to stand against the tyrant fifth Mashirotzu. When the fifth Mashirotzu, Kanzo murdered his twin brother, the fourth Mashirotzu Tanzo, and anyone who dared to stand up against him from ascending to the throne, his brother's widow escaped to Stonehaven with her children prince Hodei and princess Ozai, they were protected by the Dwarf king Rathnar until they came of age and waged a war to regain the throne. A war that left the whole of Snowlandia divided for the decades that followed. But since then, the gates were never breached again, not even during the great war. Snowlandia, my home. I swore to protect it with every inch of my being and I was ready to lay down my life without question, that is the way of a

History Books.(Karui's P.O.V.)

The Snow was under attack, the Mashirotzu was abroad, and the father was in charge. We were about to be descended upon by forces of pure evil, I was sure of this. Every kid in the kingdom knew the horror stories of the last great war, and even though we were not alive then, we can still see a lot of its effects around. The kingdoms of the west were reduced to the shadows of what they used to be. My grandmother told me of the beauty of the west, but today the place is full of struggling kingdoms. Most of the powerful kingdoms to the west were wiped out of existence as the Darkened one replaced them with his fortresses of terrors. These lands were won back by the union of races but the evils that were let loose in those lands reside there even today. The lands of the East were still recovering from the aftermath of the second Tuaree war, the fifth Mashirotzu declared war on the Tuareez and they being the most prosperous kingdom of the Eastland territories meant the war would affect the
