I WILL TRY MY BEST

"I have a request to make, sir," Mr. Han appealed to the man sitting in the central chair. Han was one of the most mysterious members of the organization. His strength was known to a small circle of people. The man was one of them. "I would love to hear it, Mr. Han." "Mia is already on the verge of breaking through. Even if she did get ranked as a potential S-rank warrior, it would take a lot of time to get to that position. I hence request you to grant her access to all the cultivation resources that were collected by the Chang couples." "The resources naturally belong to her," Mr. Han said. I will make way for the transfer as soon as she passes the awakening ceremony. I give you my words that no matter what the results are, the resources will be given to her, along with all their gears and possessions left here in the guild." Many dull faces could be seen around the table. The Chang couple was one of the most accomplished hunters within the guild. E

DAVID'S CONDITION

'I'm confident that she could. If there is anyone who could surpass Nathan, it is her." "Nathan is an anomaly. He can't be considered by normal means. You need to understand the reason he was able to stand at the position unrivaled when we had ten top-class hunters amid us." "His elements are just a small part of the reason behind his strength. Even the training he went through doesn't comprise the whole picture. The scariest part is two of his special traits. The first one is his battle instincts, while the second one is his reaction time." "Do you know the reason behind such a devastating strength behind a physical attack?" "Isn't it his physique which is way beyond my level?" "Even if his physique is above yours, it still doesn't explain why he was able to injure you so severely. A simple physical attack would never be able to injure you so well. The main reason is the two inborn capabilities he was born with." "His battle instincts

THE ENLIGHTMENT PROJECT

Mia said her bye to David before leaving the house with Huntress. They headed to a secluded location that was a hideout created by her mother and Huntress. "Where is the location?" "The location is set up near the eastern borders of the country." "Isn't that location near to the ruins which were filled with dungeons and space channels?" "It is. That is the reason it was set up in that location. The hideout was part of a secret experiment that the two of us were conducting on behalf of Kaiser. You will understand once you get there. I just need a big favor from you." "What is it?" "Never tell anyone about this location. It is a secret from everyone. The Holy living person knowing about this location is me, and the other one will be you." "Is that important?" "it is. The picture will be clearer once we reach there. you will understand the reason behind me maintaining so many precautions and delaying our travels with so ma

THE TRAINING SCHEDULE

"What was this facility used for?" "Your mother and I were responsible for experimenting on the monsters and beasts in the area to find out their weak points which could be exploited by the guild during our hunting expeditions. This research would also be provided to the hunter associations for the use of other hunters." "The research facilities aren't limited just to Kaiser. All other major guilds and powerful hunters have set up their own research labs within and out of the country to carry out research." "You need to understand that the research is not limited just to the monsters. It is also related to the human population too. These facilities were also established to do research on hunters and help them grow in their irrespective areas. The lab we are in is the prized possession of your mother." "She published all her research from this location and all her work has been saved here. It goes the same for me too. This is the only place I cal

THE TRAINING BEGINS

Mia's reluctant agreement made Huntress smile. She knew this was the first time Mia was going to experience the attack of a monster or a mutated beast. An enemy who was hell-bent on killing you can generate a horde of reactions from the host. " The training will begin at the earliest hour of tomorrow. Until then, let us help you get acquainted with this place." Huntress led Mia into her room. It was a spacious room with a huge space and decorated interiors. Everything was extremely tidy and prepared for Mia's arrival. It was as if someone was taking care of it. "It is good to see you again so on mistress." A voice sounded from behind. Mia turned around with alertness, just to see a woman standing in a maid's clothes. "No need to be aggressive. This is Uma. caretaker of the facility. She is also a top research assistant with her own research lab. She will be taking care of all your needs." Huntress then turned to Uma and said. "This is her daug

THE TRAINING-1

"Do you understand what she did wrong?" Uma asked. Mia remained speechless at the scene. "I am asking you," Uma said looking at Mia, which seemed to have jolted Mia out of her trance. "What." She said. "I asked if you understood what her fault was during our fight," Uma said. "She seems to have perceived your attack in the wrong way," Mia replied. "But she reacted according to the book," Uma said. "I didn't say she reacted in the wrong way. I said she perceived it the wrong way. She was way too confident that you would be using the newly acquired blindspot to attack, which led to her concentrating on the left side and acting accordingly. You laid the bait and she took it." Uma looked at Mia and smiled. She then turned around to look at Huntress, who was still lying on the floor. "This one is teachable." To Mia's surprise, Huntress got up without any problem. She wasn't even injured. " Didn't I tell you? Her mother and I

THE TRAINING-2

Mia got up and followed Uma's instructions for the whole day. She was bashed into the grounds many times. Mia lost the counting after the tenth time. Uma was also merciless in her attacks. Mia managed to pass the first few rounds, but as time went by concentrating became harder and harder."You need to keep your calm and learn to manage your senses properly. You are way too confident in your pitiful talent and are not working properly. I honestly doubt your fucking dedication to this job." Uma began to curse at Mia.Mia lost her cool and broke her stance in an attempt to attack Uma suddenly. To her surprise though, in the next moment, her view of the world had turned upside down, as her body crashed into the ground one more time.Mia clutched her fist, trying to push her body up. She looked at an emotionless Uma and said. " Never question my dedication. I work harder than anyone else in my surroundings to achieve my goals."For the first time throug
