Lahat ng Kabanata ng SLAVE TO THE RUTHLESS MASTER: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

Immediately the door shut, Galene stood up with the bag and went to drop it in the wardrobe. She would arrange them later on, now all she needs to do is prepare for the breakfast. She now has new clothes and would not be putting on rags. She smiled and went into the bathroom, took her bath, and picked out a beautiful yellow dress, she dressed up in it and walked to the huge mirror beside the wall to brush her long hair. She was blessed with beautiful hair that she doesn't need any extra care for it. Deciding to let it flow down to her shoulders, she began walking out of the room.On getting to the big dining hall, Galene could see the faces of people already seated and it looked like she was the one delaying them. She gulped down and embraced herself, she wasn't going to make a fool of herself in front of those people. She knew them of course, the elderly man sitting at the other end of the table was the Duke of Akeel community.

"I am sorry Princess but you cannot get into the master's chamber now, he doesn't want any disturbances," Robin said stopping Princess Avila from getting closer to the door."It is important I see him now so get out of my " princess Avila said getting angry."May I remind you that this place is not your community and you have no right to order me, I have just told you the master would not want to see anybody so just leave" Robin said with a glare.Looking at how seductively she was dressed, he knew her plans for coming to see the Master but he was not going to allow her to go into the master's chamber dressed that way not when the master isn't in his right frame of mind because of the disappearance of Galene."You should return to your room and come back tomorrow but if you know say your messages are so important that I could not wait till dawn then pass them to me, I would help you inform the master" Robin muttered not sparing her another glance for she

"How are you son? Be a good boy and take care of your mother, I can't wait to carry you in my hands" wasn't that what master Damien just said?" Galene wondered, her eyes still shut and her heart beating fast. Master Damien had climbed off the bed after saying those words and walked into the bathroom. "Could I be pregnant?" Galene asked aloud but quickly shut her mouth and Swiftly opened the door to see the master was no longer in the room. She sighed and decided to think about what she just heard from the master the next day. She breathe out and decided to sleep this time around before the master would return and see through her. Closing her eyes and relaxing her mind, shutting off her thought, Galene drifted off to sleep. Master Damien finished bathing and returned to the room fully dressed in his night robe. He climbed the bed and faced

Galene squinted her eyes and a bright light shone right into her eyes that she had to close them back. Blinking her eyes and adjusting then to the light, she gently opened her eyes. The window was widely opened, no wonder the light was much. She stared at the room and noticed she was in Diana's room. What was she doing here? She asked herself as she sat up on the bed. She remembered being in her husband's chambers and then the priest and physician- the memory rang in her head and she shut her eyes tight. Her husband! They said her husband was poisoned by the arrow and he would not be able to wake on time" she muttered what the physician said and tears dropped from her eyes. She looked around the room and thankfully, Diana was not around neither was Luciana nor Mariam around. She guessed they must have gone out to do their different duties

Galene was dumbstruck, she would never in a thousand years doubt Mariam's friendship. If at all she was supposed to doubt someone among the three of them, I would have been luciana because she has always acted distance and talks as though she doesn't like like. Maria was the least person she would ever believe would plan to harm her. Tears streamed down her eyes. She never knew those they call friends were the ones stabbing their backs. "How could they shoot her husband with a deadly arrow and take over the clan by manipulating the council leader," Galene thought, whimpering. "How could people be so pretentious that you would never in a million year Know they are plotting against you" Galene muttered aloud. Mariam laughed out loud, shaking her head in a mocking pity, "you should never trust anyone not even yourself because you migh
