Lahat ng Kabanata ng Carry My Child, Miss Laurier: Kabanata 131 - Kabanata 140

My lips parted a little while now looking eye to eye with Damian. What he said feel like there is something that pierce down inside me, after realizing what he said to me. Right. Why am I not taking this for granted now? I have seen Elric like I wanted him to feel but now that he is confuse as hell now, I don’t care anymore. Where was my plans flying now?I cleared my throat before slowly looking away from him. My gaze is now at the dashboard but I am more focused on my peripheral vision right now where Damian is sitting—still staring down at me while waiting for my response.I faked a smile, still not giving him my attention. I am thinking why the sudden change of plans and hearts now that I am oon my way to what I really want to see and now that it’s here no, I do not care anymore.“Maybe few weeks back, I was so desperate to have him back,” I started while looking in front. The traffic light countdown is almost over

I finally entered the room when Damian look at me. He turn away from my direction immediately while still on his phone. Since I don’t have any business with him and I don’t want to interfere, I move directly towards the walk-in closet to change my clothes. I feel a little sticky because of the air that Alaric went earlier so I grab my wet wipes to temporarily ease my little discomfort.“Why are you people keep on dragging the past when the people involved already moved on?”I stop from wiping myself when Damian spike once again but this time, he seems more frustrated than earlier. I move towards the door a little but making sure not to be seen by him. I know that eavesdropping is bad but my curiosity is bigger than my thoughts.“I did not.” He spoke once again.I tilted my head.“Oh God, you people are hilarious. Don’t call me nor Dad ever again. WE are fine without you here.”After that,

“What? Mansrael—“My words are cut off when he ended the call automatically, leaving me with such worry that’s started to rise inside me. I look behind and saw how Tito and Damian look at me curiously so I bit my lower lip, having an inhibitions if I am in the right time to tell this them knowing that we are in the middle of our dinner.I walk back towards my seat, sitting down before looking at Damian who has been watching me ever since I answered the call.“Any problem?” He asked.I have no choice but to nod my head before I check my phone—hoping that Rael will call again. I wet my lower lip before looking back at Damian worriedly. “Rael said he is going on a drag racing tonight. He sounded drunk.”His forehead creases. “What about earlier? He called you, right? What did he say?”I clasp my hands altogether before biting my lips. “He suddenly wired me some money that h

My forehead creases as I turn to look at him. Damian is now back looking on the road so I tilted my head a little to make sure if if he isn’t kidding or what.“Why the sudden invitation?” I asked, chuckling a little which made him look at me.He shrug his shoulder once, not looking at me. “I just feel like drinking tonight.” He seriously muttered.I smirk before I lean my back on the seat, trying to relax myself after what happened earlier. I never saw Rael that wasted. Often, he stays sober with Levi or even with Nathan for Everleigh and I but now, he just looks… devastated. With a nodding head, I did not turn my head to look abct at Damian. Instead, I lean the side of my head on the window—entertaining myself on what’s outside.“I know a place.” I simply muttered and I guess, that is an enough cue for Damian that we are really going to drink tonight.I hissed inside. Odd.

I stare at nowhere after finishing my sixth canned beer. Damian, who is just in front of me, staring raises his brows while watching my next moves. I giggled before tossing another canned beer on the air. “What are you looking at? Drink some!” I invited more since he only drank two cans of beers and after that, he only watches me every time I drink with a judging look.He shake his head before looking around. “Excuse me? Our bill?” He asked.I pouted my lips while watching Aunt Damiela scanned for our bill on the counter and walk towards us afterwards. “Sir, I still could not get enough of these beers, I am drinking more.” I mumbled.“You are drunk.”I growled. “I am sober, stop being ridiculous!” I annoyingly stated before I stand up, not even having a chance to slip from my own chair. “See?”Aunt Damiela stands in front of me so I smiled at her. “I would want another th
