Ciara's POVToday is the first day of our vacation! Today is October 29th, and my grandmother's birthday is the next day. We're now bringing two cars, one for our family and the other for Uncle Derek's. We intended to seal ourselves in our van while Shan's parents, Jane, and Uncle Derek's family stayed in the other van. I'm confident that Lola's 66th birthday celebration will be a big success. Surigao is something I miss as well. I was born in Surigao City and moved to Butuan City when I was four or five years old. My father's birthplace is Butuan, but she met Mom and also Dad's work before he was deployed to Surigao.  "Are your things okay there?" dad prompted my friends, as we double-checked our belongings in case someone had forgotten something. The drive from Butuan to Surigao is not long. It takes around an hour and a half.

Ciara's POVRight now, we're inside the school campus and enrolling for a new semester.  Trio Sha together with Patrick and Faith are currently waiting for the announcements of our section and program, "Sir Justine must've announced but what took him so long? I'm so excited to know what section we are in," Patty complained as she scrolled through her phone. I looked at her and asked, "Sir Justine is the one who will announce the sectioning?"  "Yeah," she replied and turned off her phone, "Our section will be a block section and it's strictly forbidden to change section or subjects."  "That's so unfair for everyone," Patrick said

Ciara's POVI sighed. I can’t help but worry because not all the time I get to be with him especially now that he’s in a different section.What if the time comes that he gets tired? Or what if, he suddenly falls in love with another woman he is close with?  Come to think about it that Shan is my best friend and he fell in love with me. What if he has a new girl best friend, then he falls in love with that new best friend, too? "Hey!" I was surprised when Patrick, who was already in front of me, suddenly shouted, "Are you okay? You haven't eaten your hotdog yet." "Huh?" I don't seem to be on my own anymore and now I notice that the hotdog I'm holding hasn't been eaten yet.

Ciara's POVShan immediately separated from me and I could see the annoyance on the face he was holding back. I laughed at her and looked at Jane who was standing in the doorway staring at us, "Hi, Jane! Come on."She rolled her eyes, "There you two are again. Please, I'm not used to seeing you two like that.""Hey, Jane. As much as you know but you're young. Go out and go inside your room," Shan scolded but instead, she entered Shan's room."I will just stay here, bro. The best thing is let's just watch a movie. It can prevent on what you're planning to do here," he said and she grinned. Jane is very mature to think even though she is only in grade one. Uncle John even said that she was just like his sister, Faith when she was young.

Ciara's POVWe ordered some food and went to the seat chosen by them, "Take a seat, Jane. You're very welcome here." Jane was not new to them since they already knew and met Jane a couple of times when we used to hang out at Shan's place and they got to know Jane about her bungling and her intense knowledge and wisdom at a young age."Hey! So, how are your studies, fellow friends?" Jane asked the four of them and I can see that they groaned."Awful.""Stressed.""Tiring.""Haggard."Jane looked at me full of astonishment and turned to them again, "Why is it tiring and stressful? I mean, look at me. I am a student also and I always look fresh when I study and read some lessons. It's not hard."Patrick stared at her with his jaws dropped, "You are such a nerdy, Jane. Probably! You're still on what? Grade one? You haven't even reached subtraction and multiplication yet, so you can say that it's not hard," Patrick said."Oh, it's just the beginning, Jane.
