Matt understands how incredibly hard it can be to explain everything to her. He's well aware that Ariella is unlikely to believe him. He's pinning Elliot Allister, the fucking, damned perfect best friend she could ever have, after all. "I tried to warn you, Ari. He is a mafia member. He is a high-ranking mafia figure who will do anything just to get back to your family. Your best friend is not really who you think he is. He’s been keeping a lot of things from you and hiding a lot of dark secrets from you." Ari scrunched her brows all the more as Matt delivered that simple statement. She knows Matt is trying to influence her to believe him. She peered at him, not trusting a word he said. This is a bunch of nonsense! What Matt is telling her is all crap! Elliot and Ethan worked for hand in hand to make sure she safely reached her home. Ethan wouldn't work with a rival. And how can they be warring families when, since then, Elliot and her family have been nothing but excellent friends? T

"What if Matt succeeded in really getting her? What if Ari's life is in grave danger?" Elliot can't help but question his capo and underboss. He's exposing his vulnerability once more. For a mafia boss like him, this is a no-no, but he can't keep his fear to himself anymore. "El, we're on their tail. We will assist them. We will provide them with all the necessary technology and intelligence that they will need from us, but we will never go to war for them or with them. You know what your father will think and do if we do what you want. It was never even meant to be our war to begin with." Elliot blew out a grunt of despair. How will he get to choose between the lady he loves and the crew he's supposed to be leading and defending? Ari and his team are both a part of his life and the reason for what he is at the moment, but can he sacrifice one to save the other? Elliot now feels hopeless and devastated all over again. He doesn't want to choose, but it seems to be leading that way for

"I'm not seeking your or anyone else's permission. I'm just here to inform you of my decision and my plans. I still respect your role as my elder and mostly as my father, enough to even inform you of my choices. But you simply cannot stop me from doing what I want now." Elliot's indignation causes Kyle to cringe. He has no idea what's going on in Elliot's head, but this is definitely not what he expected. Is this really how people are responding to love? Every moment that passes drives Elliot crazy. Kyle is even certain that if Ari urges Elliot to jump off a bridge and commit suicide, his friend will do it. Oh! How stupid can a person in love be? "Elliot, I also believe that it is now the time to back off. You're well aware that you're not going to win this argument. Not with the don, El. Even if he is your father, you know that when he says no it definitely means no." Kyle murmured cautiously, as he is going to try and keep Elliot from aggravating the elders' already-high levels of

His conversation with Ethan was brought to a halt when his phone started ringing. He hastily rejected the call when he realized it was from Kyle. He doesn't even want to talk to him right now, as he's still upset about what happened. He knows it's not Kyle's fault, but as his friend, he was expecting that he would back him up. But the annoying prick chose otherwise. When his phone started ringing again, Ethan gave him a puzzled look, and all he could do was shrug his shoulders. "Nothing important," he said simply. "It must be important if that person keeps on calling you. Answer it." Ethand urged him. Kyle really does have a penchant for testing his fortitude, so he knows the jackass won't stop contacting him. He also does not want to go into further detail with Ethan about this. He picked up the phone because he had no other choice but to answer since Kyle would definitely not stop. "What is it that you want, Conner?" He hissed with annoyance. "Allister, where the fuck are you?" K

All of a sudden, Elliot blurted out, "I'll be going on with Ethan and his men." And both Kyle and Briton gave him a hard, cold glare. "This is not the plan. What the fucking shit are you talking about?! Fuck you, Elliot! This is not the plan that we talked about!" Kyle yelled furiously, "You stick to the plan! Nothing more and nothing less. Above anyone else, you should be the one to know about this." Kyle does not want to be afraid, and he is trying his best to overcome his fears, but Elliot's refusal to go along with the plan will only add to his worries and anxiety. "I really have to. I really do have to make sure Ari is alright and safe. I need to be the first one to see her there." Elliot responded with an exhaustive sigh. Even his tone is skeptical of just about everything right now. Ari was all he could focus on and even though he knew he would be risking his life by going with Ethan, he didn't care. "There is really no way that we will allow that, boss. I'm with the underbos
