Boss lady.

"By the way…. I'm Jefferson Addison and I'll love it if you will be my girlfriend"."Huh?". I mumbled because it seems as if my ears aren't working properly."Why are you surprised?". He asked with a firm voice.'Gush!. Is this guy a psychopath?'. I asked myself."Sorry, Jeffery…. Sorry Jefferson… well whatever you call yourself….. I'm so sorry to tell you that I'm not….."."Hahahaha!". Another laughter was heard from the mouth of Jefferson.'Is this guy crazy for real?'."Why are you panicking for no good reason?". He asked, and I was speechless. My tongues are already tied to each other, and I couldn't say anything."Chill Cecelia!. I was only acting okay". The guy who claims his name is Jefferson declared."Huh?"."I think I'm going to take this job for sure. I ended up pulling a nice act that made my future producer tongue-tied."You mean all those were just acting?". I asked him.If I could remember clearly….. Oscar used to pull off all these crazy types of acting skills, but it

Worthless.

Immediately when I opened the door of my house was Edward.Well!. The house doesn't belong to only me, but I'll take it as mine for now.Edward was on a white apron, and he was shirtless. He seems to be sweating and on his lower body lies a boxer. He was only wearing a boxer and seeing him half-naked made me feel as if I'm about to get seduced."Edward!". I exclaim his name out loud while running towards him.Edward seemed to be startled for a while, but immediately he felt my hands around his waist….. his lips formed a smile.I pull away from him and arrange my Navy blue jacket."Why are you dressed up like this?". I asked him."Hmm….. I'm preparing dinner since my girlfriend forgets to prepare dinner before I get home". He typed, which made me roll my eyesI didn't know that he would be back from work on time, so assuming I knew then I would have planned on returning home on time."I wasn't informed that you would be home on time". I said while trying to defend myself."You didn't c

Puzzled.

Since Edward was already inside the room…. I know that it would be a bad idea if I join him inside the room. Besides, he might use the bed pillow to press my nose until I run out of breath…. Who knows.I pull off my long booth and likewise my jacket.I was now left with my small white singlet that seemed like a bra, and my short skirt.I contemplated for a while if I should still sleep under Edwards's roof or not. After contemplating for a while, I decided to just pass the night here, and first thing tomorrow morning….. I'll be leaving Edward's house for good.I lie down on the small yet comfortable couch and fold myself properly.Since there wasn't a bed cover lying around in the sitting room….. I decided to use my jacket to cover my lap from being fully exposed.Just to be sincere….. even though I'm aware that Edward doesn't mean to hurt me because I could see it in his eyes…..I still can't help but ponder about the reason why he reacted in such a way.Like when he tried pulling me

Strangle.

Edward POV.After planting a kiss on Cecelia's forehead…. I decided to make my way to the company.I'm already late, and not that my workers are going to question me for being late, but because I don't like being a bad example to my workers.Cecelia was like a sleeping log, and she sleeps as if there was no tomorrow.Making my way back to my company….. I saw Mister Black and Ezekiel waiting for me outside the building."Ezekiel! You will have to drive me to work, while Mister Black you will have to watch over Cecelia, and make sure that she doesn't notice that you are watching after her again Okay!". I typed, and my two personal bodyguards….. or should I say friend nodded their heads.Ezekiel seems to be happy because of the work that I assigned to him…. And I understand why he's currently happy.Ezekiel always likes to work in the open, which is unlike Mister Black.Mister Black enjoys working in the shadow. He's very good when it comes to underground affairs, which is why those that

Truth.

When Edward finally lets go of Cecelia…. He suddenly returns to his original senses. He tried apologizing but it was all to no avail. Cecelia was mad and scared of him at the same time, so he had no other option but to head to his room.He was expecting Cecelia to also walk inside the room because that's the only room available in this house….. and unfortunately, Cecelia didn't show up.Edward has been contemplating what he's going to do, and how he's going to plead with Cecelia. When two straight hours have passed…. Edward had no other option, but to make his way back to the sitting room.He was surprised to see Cecelia folding herself on the couch. She was also using her Navy blue jacket to cover part of her legs….. so Edward went back inside the room and grabbed a blanket. When he got to Cecelia's presence….. mere staring at her, he knew that she wasn't asleep. He slowly covered her with the blanket, before planting a kiss on her forehead.Edward headed back to his room, and immedi

Exposing.

I couldn't believe how rude Mister Black was towards me.He even had the guts to walk out on his employee, which is just so unprofessional."Did he have a problem with me?". I asked Edward.Edward hadn't even replied to my question when I heard Mister Black voice from outside the building."Yeah!. I have a problem with you, so what are you going to do about it?". Mister Black voice echoed.I bite my lower lips while trying not to be rude.Edward and the people living around him are just very weird.Edward's Mom hates me for good reason, and luckily his Dad likes me. Mister Black hates me, and Ezekiel likes me.While Edward is kinda confused about his feelings. He doesn't know if he likes me, or if he loves me.I didn't bother to ponder on what to say anymore.I slowly approached the bedroom and took my bath, while leaving Edward and Ezekiel behind. When I was done bathing….. I made my way back to the sitting room with my bathrobe on my body.Edward widened his eyes, and immediately he

Background check up.

"Hmm…. Hmm!". I cleared my throat before withdrawing my hands away from the glass cup.Edward also cleared his throat, and withdrew his hand.We both stare at the wall awkwardly, and after a while, we resume eating.I didn't bother to drink water, because of the awkward atmosphere.Edward also ate his food in total silence, and we were both done….. We made our way to the kitchen while holding our respective plates.I place my already used plate on the kitchen sink, and Edward walks from behind me to put his plate from behind.Edward this time around was behind me, and I could feel his hard body on my back.I'm currently not putting on any underwear, so it was hard for me not to feel anything."Hmm...mm". I mumbled while thinking of how I'm going to tell Edward that he was so close to my body."Edward…… I don't think that your boys are going to reach the company anytime soon". I said that's the only word that seems right then."I also wanted to tell you that. Do you think now is the ri

Hot secretary.

The entire place became silent, as Edward stared at me while being speechless. "Is the question that hard for you to answer?". I asked Edward coldly. I know that he's going to be lost if I ask him such a question because no individual would say that they aren't going to be mad when someone else insults their parents in front of them. "I would be mad if someone did that to my parents". Edward typed, before staring at the tiles with an apologizing look on his face. "Then why did you do that to mine?". "Because I don't have anyone else to insult for your behavior". He typed, before pausing for a while. "You lied to me Cecelia, and I don't like when others lie in front of me". He added. "So you are now my God huh?". I asked Edward, and he couldn't type anything. Just as I had thought. I got up from the couch and was about to make my way to the dining room, and that was when I felt a strong arm wrapped around my waist. "What are you trying to do?". I asked Edward while removing hi

Chest.

Edward suddenly grabbed me by my waist and pulled me close to him. It seems as if he does love to inhale my scent. "I'm not insulating anything. You can work with as many male workers that you need, and I won't hold you back. I know that you love me, so that's all that matters''. He typed. I blush while reading what Edward had just typed. Truth be told Edward is a cute baby. I nodded my head and went back to my laptop. I still have a lot of characters to write, so I decided not to slack off. Edward sat down beside me, and he monitored my script. I don't know if he used to be an actor in his former life because he's just so good at making a script more lively, and if I don't take care….. then Edward might end up taking charge of my new company. "Why are you even staring at my work now and then?. Don't you have a company to take care of?". I asked Edward, for him something else. "I don't have to visit the company for it to operate perfectly". Edward typed, and all I could do was n

Joke.

I and Edward no longer had any issues. Since our last fight when Edward tried to strangle me to death, Edward has been more careful around me.He always sweetly texts me, and every blessed day he would go to work and I'll be left alone with nobody to entertain me…… so I'm left with my laptop which I use to write my script.Nobody has contacted me on my Gmail, so right now I'm left with no workers for my new company which is still yet to be open.I even thought that Jefferson was going to contact me because he was the only person who seemed interested, and he even went as far as collecting more than ten flyers from my hand, for he claimed that he was going to tell some of his friends who act in the industry….. but up till this day I still haven't heard from him.I know it's unprofessional of me to stand so low but I don't have enough cash for me to acquire a professional actress. I felt a soft hand wrap around my waist, and then I turned around to stare at Edward. "Are you sure about
