"You shouldn't eat like a peasant!" she said with a scoff. Arianna swallowed the last bit of food in her mouth and looked at her sister, her emerald green eyes staring unblinkingly. "Well, if I'm that much of a bother why don't you kindly leave my courtyard?" Arianna said, biting into an apple. "What have gotten into you, Arianna?" Eliza asked. Arianna flung her braided fiery red hair from her shoulders. "Nothing, I'm just trying to do what I could never do before I'm sold off in marriage" Eliza rolled her eyes as she gent

It was the rays of sunlight that seeped through her windows that woke Arianna up. Her emerald green eyes wandering around her room to see the bending figure of Meena, who—as if noticing her woken self, turned round. "Your highness, you're awake" she courtesied. Arianna's brows furrowed as her head started to ache mildly. "what time is it?" she asked as she stood up, immediately noticing the sting in her palm which she chose to ignore. The events of last night played vaguely in her head that she wasn't sure if it really happened. "it's an hour after breakfast time, milady" Meena said and fidgeted unsure of whether to say what was on her mind. Arianna noticed this,"What is it, Meena?" The young maid scratched the back of her neck, "Umm...I was wondering if the princess was alright?" Arianna's raised an eyebrow in slight confusion, "I don't understand. why wouldn't I be?"

Arianna stared at the man in front of her. what gibberish was he saying right now? "If you'd excuse me, princess" Frank said as he bowed and left. Arianna couldn't stop him, she was too stunned by what just happened. Was it all a dream? if it was, then how was Damian here? or was he? "No.." she mumbled to herself, she wasn't delirious, it wasn't a dream, it's either a very bad prank or Frank was lying....or something was terribly wrong here. "Are you okay?" she heard a voice say as she collapsed on a chair. She didn't need to turn around to see who it was. The feeling of the dark aura emanating from behind her was enough for her to know who it was. "What are you doing here? do you want to be seen?" she said keeping her head straight so not to appear to be talking to him. "Don't worry princess," Damian said as he appeared in the chair right in front of her as he smirked, "No one can see me till I let them" 'Well that's an impressive move' thought Arianna.

Arianna gulped as she walked to the main royal dinning room, dear heavens! what was Damian up to? will she get in trouble? "presenting, princess Arianna" the royal butler said as the doors were opened for Arianna, as she stepped into the room, with her head bent low, she heard the voice of her father, "Arianna it's good that you're here, take your seat" he said without waiting for a greeting from her. As She raised her head to walk to her seat her heart dropped, there he sat in the most breathtaking princely suit she'd ever seen, his hair had been styled so perfectly as his red eyes focused on her, a smirk on his face. Damian watched as Arianna quickly covered rhr the look of shock on her face and sat down. He watched her gaze shift back to him now and then. "Now that I've hosted our guests, we can all start talking about the matter at hand" the voice of her father said, half and hour later as maids started cleaning up the table not caring if anyone was done yet. Arianna fel
