Help me, I don't want to get married (one)

Meena scratched the back of her neck, "Princess are you okay?" she asked.

Arianna paused from putting a spoon of soup in her mouth, "I'm...fine.. why?"

Meena gulped, "her highness has been acting strange since this morning"

Arianna managed what she thought was a reassuring smile, "I'm fine, Meena" she said and Meena bowed, walking away.

Immediately after her breakfast, Arianna rushed to the library, bumping into Aidan on the way.

"Where are you off to is such a hurry?" he frowned as he arranged his clothes and dusted himself, his blue eyes frowning at her.

"The library" she said, trying to get away from him.

"What? is it running away?" he mocked as he walked past her, but stopped and turned, " I heard Prince willow tried to have breakfast in your courtyard. I should thank the heavens for the rain" he smirked and walked away.

"More like thank Damian.." Arianna mumbled under her breath, then turned and tried to walk as unsuspiciously as possible to avoid bumping into anyone else.

"you cannot do this to me, you can't!" Eliza's voice echoed in the darkness of her room. Tears ran down those beautiful cornflower eyes as she looked at the frowning man in front of her.

"I'm very sorry, high princess but I cannot marry you" the prince said. Eliza looked Lost as she stood there, prince Lorde the man she was betrothed to just broke the engagement on a reason she could not understand.

"Why?" she sniffled.

Prince Lorde cleared his throat as his hand swept through his brown hair. Being betroth to Eliza was never his idea, he didn't know the girl and couldn't love her and certainly wasn't planning on having a life with her.

"I love someone else" that was the truth,he had fallen in love with someone else. "It's a forced thing, it would have never worked"

The anger on Eliza's face was evident, "you will pay for this! I swear you will!" she screamed. "Get out, get out now!!"

And so he left, out of her chambers, feeling relieved that he had atleast told the truth, he wasn't going to be blamed for it, it was his marriage to her.

As he walked down the hallway to the guest chambers, he caught the half–walking, half–running figure of the last princess of Lavania; Arianna. He watched as her red braided hair flew behind her and the sparkles of those green eyes. He had not meant to fall in love with her, he knew the misery and disgrace it will bring to Eliza, but he couldn't help it, he just couldn't.

"Princess Arianna?" he called but she did not hear him, she had ran into the library. What was he doing anyway? Trying to court his ex fiancee's sister?

"Oh, Lorde.." he internally facepalmed himself and walked away.

Reaching the library, Arianna immediately started looking for Frank the librarian.

"Frank," she said when she saw him, ",The book...it works...." she started without bothering to return his greetings.

"The book? what book, your highness?" the hunchback man asked politely to receive a confused look from the princess.

"The summoning book you gave me yesterday, when I came here last night"

Frank scratched his head, "but princess, last night I was at the party... your party" he said.

Arianna shook her head, "what are you talking about?" she gulped, "This isn't funny Frank!"

The librarian sighed, "you must be really tired, your highness" he said, "I never gave you any summoning book, LAVANIA doesn't practice magic,—"

"No!"

"I was at the party..I never gave you any book"

Arianna gulped.
