“Ready to go back to school?” Arya smiled slightly watching her mom set the table. It had been a week since she last went to school. After everything that had happened and Eileen explaining everything to her, Arya had decided to go back to her normal life before the incident. She couldn’t continue staying cooped up at home doing nothing. Besides as along as Eileen was with her, she was going to be fine so after much deliberation, she decided to go back to school.“Not excited, I feel way too normal for a school day” Arya replied and her mom nodded at her.“I know. Things are not the same anymore Arya, things are different for you now” her mom replied and Arya nodded.“I guess so” Arya replied shaking her head and stretching to pick a pancake. In reality, for some reason she was anxious and nervous to go back to school. She had no idea why but she knew that her mom was right, she had all of sudden realized that her life was not what it seems to be.“Eileen is here” her mom said and Ary

Alston furrowed his brows while staring at the school in front of him. Looking for whosoever was the destined witch or whatnot wasn’t a big deal for him. He just had to use his information source in the human world. Sources from the human world were prohibited for reasons that Alston couldn’t personally understand and that was why he didn’t offer to help when they had sent the news of her to other clans. “She’s a student?” Alston asked and Zachariah nodded his head. “The school had come to the mountains on a trip and somehow she had wandered off and found herself there” Zachariah replied and Alston nodded his head. Zachariah heard the leaves behind him rustle and Alston was nowhere to be found; rolling his eyes, he dashed after him. Despite the ache in her legs and the fact that her body parts were turning numb; Arya continued jogging round the fire while wiping the tears in her eyes. She would be lying if she said she understood everything, what was going on. She didn’t one bit but

“What do you think she’s doing now? Is she even in there? Did you check and verify well?”“Why can’t I scent her?” Alston rambled out to Zachariah.“I checked well, she was in the house last I saw her.” Zachariah retorted, stretching his neck as they peeked into the window.“Then why is she not in here?” Alston cocked his brows at Zachariah.A sigh escaped Zachariah lips as he glanced through the room window, she was really not there.“You can’t even do one thing right. What’s the difference between you and those rogues?” Alston growled out angrily before walking away from the window. He was drawn to her, something that baffled him and he was yet to understand. Ever since he has seen her on that field and while she was standing in front of this same window, there was something about her that just wanted him to always be with her. He couldn’t say if it was the mate bond or anything else, but he was drawn to her.“Maybe she went to school today.” Zachariah chided in again.Alston clench

“Why is she not coming out, your highness?” Zachariah asked as they stood in front of the door.Alston brows were pulled up, making deep lines on his forehead as he looked at the door, waiting for a particular someone to come out through that door. A loud grunt pierced his ears making him close his eyes for a bit before angrily opening it. He sent the door flying down with a kick only for his eyes to widen at what he was seeing in front of him.Zachariah gulped down, feeling sorry for the boys as he could sense the anger radiating out of Alston. Arya was being pulled on the floor by a guy that looked like a yellow bucket.“Who the hell are you?” The black guy turned back to face both Alston and Zachariah.“We?” Alston said dangerously.Arya was still being pulled on the floor, her small cries ringing in alstons head.“Leave the girl.” He said. The black guy frowned his face as he passed what he was holding to one of the other guys before walking towards Alston. Before he could get to A

“Thank you.” Arya said as she got down from the car.“Just be good and take care of yourself.” Alston smiled at her before she opened the door and got down. She sniffed in as the cold breeze hit her. She didn’t want to go back inside the school, nor see any of the school students. All she wanted was to be on her own, possibly in her room.“Can I ask you for a favor?” She said back to Alston.“Sure.”“Can you drop me at my house? School will soon be over and I can’t go back in.” Her eyes stared wide at him, hoping she would say the answer she needed to hear.Alston found his wolf dancing at the thought of this. It would be too dangerous if her mum saw him, both for him and both for her. But who was he to decline her request? Even her cute face staring at him was enough to give in to her request.“Sure. You can come in.” He said as he revved the car engine.“Thank you.” She blurted before dropping her bag and getting in the car.Alston revved the engine, putting the car in reverse befor
