Hati’s POVI wake as we pass through the no-man’s land between mine and Theo’s pack.lThe scent, Aspens, calling me from my deep slumber. I’m sure she must be around here, she’s close but I cannot act on impulse, not tonight. Not when I’m so tired. My body suddenly feels so drained perhaps because I’ve been on the go for so long.I don’t normally rest as normal wolves do, my rest comes in the form of giving over control, burrowing into Damian’s mind to recoup but alas, I do not want to do that.Giving him even an ounce of control is not something I will entertain in this moment.I sniff the air, moving forward in my seat as we drive past the last part of Theo’s land.He must be back, Lilith’s scent being the most potent that I can smell, follows by Theo’s and Khai’s and finally Aspens. They seem to interlocked with one another which has my mind ceasing my heart palpitating.Surely… surely it cannot be?Have they mated and produced a child who houses my mate? No, no, no.That would p

Theseus’s POVI spend longer than anticipated with Celeste. The need to discover if there has been a ripple effect to changing one’s mate has consumed both of us for half a day.And the answers were inconclusive. It hasn’t been unheard of for Celeste to change her mind and rebond mates. Especially when she’s found someone that seems more of a match. But the only thing we’ve decided is that we cannot one hundred percent say that Lilith’s decision didn’t ripple the lives of those she chose to play with.Lilith is only a godling goddess, she is out child and in all fairness it isn’t her job to change the future life of a soul.It is Celeste’s job and therefore the perhaps someone else making the decision that directly go against Celeste’s may have an adverse affect.Of course we cannot know for certain that the little she-Wolf died because of this changed decision.Chain reactions happen even when they are not your fault. And of course we cannot blame Lilith for her decisions. Not when t

Celeste’s POVHaving Theseus home even for only a little while has aroused me to the notion that I miss him. It’s been an unusual few months. His lack of attendance here with me has been more than the many years we’ve been together. And anyway, things have been unusual here since he left. The air tasting stagnant and the atmosphere unhappy. It’s weird how this realm can embody the emotions of the gods that live within it.I roam the house alone, I tend to the souls alone and I eat alone.I thinks that why I’m suppressed when Zeus comes over.He looks marginally pissed, walking into the house to see me standing at the kitchen counter with food in a bowl before me.I haven’t touched it, I’ve just been staring at it.“Zeus,” I greet him with a particular lack of enthusiasm.I would prefer for him not to be here, not after all the drama we’ve experienced together at his hands but I cannot prevent him from entering my home when it’s his to do with as he pleases.“Celeste, how are you?” He

Lilith's POVThe dress doesn't fit as I had wished, my body obviously a few pounds lighter than the last time I had tried it on.I stare at myself in the mirror, the white dress that's strikingly similar to a wedding dress hugging my every curve.Where there had once been a flat stomach, there is now a roundness there. But other than the tightness in that one fateful area of my body there is nothing else wrong with it.It's all lace bodice, falling to the floor in pooled material thats whispering around my ankles.I chose not to wear any shoes.Yes, Calley found that unusual but I hate shoes, how they confine my my feet and hurt my toes.I guess it's because I've never had a reason to wear them and I really didn't want today to be an uncomfortable day.Well anymore than it already will be with regards of me standing before the whole pack whilst I take my place as Luna.I twirl in the mirror, enjoying the feeling of being beautiful. My hair hangs down my back in a blonde halo, my eyes

Hati’s POVAh, now I know.Theo is holding a luna ceremony for his mate. For Lilith.I knew it would happen, there’s no way that son of a bitch will allow any room for her ownage to be questioned. But I’m not sure Zeus will care of his moronic claim on the girl.Zeus is god, everyone’s god and I doubt a small and insignificant hybrid wolf would put him off of claiming the girl he had sent down here for me to keep.Obviously I didn’t keep her too well, my inability to bend her will to my own has proved troublesome. And her loyalty sure hasn’t landed where it should have but then again perhaps that’s her destiny, or what Celeste calls fate. This is a welcome distraction from my nightmare of trying to find Aspen. And I check for invites, wondering if I missed mine whilst I’ve been busy. But there isn’t one and that is… unusual.Luna ceremony’s are usually a big celebration.Alphas from all around are invited, the more the merrier but I’m shocked to find out that Theo has not invited one
