Lahat ng Kabanata ng Betrothed To The Mafia Lord : Kabanata 451 - Kabanata 460

Sofia’s pov My phone began to vibrate and I let out a long sigh as I reached for it, accepting the call as soon as I realized who it was that was calling. It was Kayla. “Did you forget the schedule we made?” Was the first thing she said as soon as I placed the phone against my ear, prompting me into rolling my eyes while pressing my fingers against the hot surface of my coffee filled cup.“Of course not.” I responded, even though I had definitely forgotten, thanks to my mind being occupied by the sudden encounter I had with Lola yesterday.Kayla whined in my ear, indicating that she wasn’t buying what I had just said right now.We had both agreed to meet up this evening for something important, and I knew pulling out right now is going to be really unfair to her, especially seeing how she was always pulling up for me withou questions whenever I needed her presence and physical appearance for something.“You had better show up here in thirty minutes, and I mean it.” She warned

Sofia’s pov “I’m almost done.” I called out while clipping my earrings on and checking myself out in the mirror once again, because I needed to look really good for tonight.“You said that five minutes ago.” Luca reminded me and I but on the side of my lips before turning my head around to slant him a look.“You know, getting ready for women is ten times harder than getting ready for men, that’s why I take so much time than you, it’s something that can’t be helped. Luca was standing beside the bed and was fixing his tie. He arched a brow at me before snorting out a laugh and shaking his head slowly.“Or, it could be that men are just faster than women because they just are.” “That’s can’t be! How many things do you have to put on compared to me?” I demanded and watched as Luca drew towards me in the mirror which I was staring into as i fluffed my hair with my fingers.“You’re right, bunny.” He said as he reached up to trace my bare throat with his fingers for a few seconds.

Sofia’s pov I let out a small chuckle because nothing could have prepared me from this sudden turn of event and then I shrugged one of my shoulders a little. “Pretty cool, I guess?”“That’s not only cool, it’s insane as well.”We talked for a few more moments before exchanging contacts because the both of us would definitely still want to hang out together. When we returned to Luca’s side, he had a different, untouched glass in his hand and as soon as I got to his side, his hand settled on my hips in a way I’d term as possessive.I expected Zander to attempt to introduce himself to Luca now that we’re back in his presence, but Zander took one look at him and excused himself at once through stuttered words.I wasn’t sure of how to feel about that.“Who’s that?” Luca asked and I glanced up at him at once, but he wasn’t staring down at me, instead, his gaze was fixed in the direction Zander had just walked off to.“That’s someone I went to school with. It’s been over a decade s

Sofia’s pov Everything froze inside me at once, and after a few fleeting moments, it all came crashing down on me. The gripping fear that had settled on my entire body when I had begun to fear what those guys could do to me after I had glanced around and sighted no one. It made my heart pound erratically while breathing Ryan’s familiar scent in.I didn’t let myself relax into the hug because it only took about ten seconds for me to remember where we currently are– in public, forcing me to tear myself out of the hug. When I glanced up at Ryan, he had a crazed look in his eyes and was panting hard as he stared me up and down, clearly trying to see if I was hurt. I glanced away from Ryan to the spot behind him, where two guys were splayed on the ground, in the spot where Ethan still had the dude pinned on the ground, underneath his shoe. From the looks of things, it was obvious that Ryan had only been able to catch two out of the three guys who had run off. When Ryan began t

Luca’s pov “So, you had better respond to my question at once if you don’t want to dig a bigger grave for yourself.” I growled in a low voice while my hand itches to wrap around his throat and squeeze until he stopped breathing. He didn’t look a day over twenty five, and if I haven’t encountered a lot of stupid men in life, I’d say I’m shocked by the stupidity the dude and his friends were in to even consider laying a finger on Sofia. But, I’m not shocked, although it’s a little shocking that someone has the mind to actually do this.Everyone in the mafia who knew Sofia was married to me, knew that she was automatically off limits to everyone no matter what. The dude kneeling a few inches from Sofia and I dropped his head to the ground and began to spit out so many apologies at once, making me give a shake of my head before reaching forward to nudge his forehead with the tip of my shoe, causing him to flinch away like I had pointed a gun at him.“Are you going to do the need
