Lahat ng Kabanata ng Alpha’s Bewitching Regret: Kabanata 521 - Kabanata 530

“ Really,” Evelyn thought that she had fooled the boy which was why she nodded her head heavily as if agreeing with him. “ I will bring your uncle from the dead. All we need—— are two hearts, one of a man and one that of a child, as long as those two combine and make a mana heart which is compatible with the body of your uncle, he will be back.” “That's a fascinating offer,” mused Logan as he approached Evelyn and then aimed his claws at her eyeballs which caused Evelyn to stiffen and ask in terror, “ What …What are you trying to do? I told you that I can bring your uncle back to life! I am the only one who knows each step here!” “ I know but I don’t have the habit of giving anyone second chances, you are not imp enough for that,” stated Logan with a smile that was nerve-wracking. “ I told you to stop and asked you to let my uncle go, did I not? But you did not listen. Since you lost that opportunity, then you cannot blame me for not listening to you either.” He raised his hand and

She let go of her granddaughter and then turned to look at Logan whose head was lowered. Though he was now wearing clothes, the blood on his body was yet to be cleaned, with his hands and skin dyed in red, he looked like a demonic beast. Greta took a step closer to Logan and hugged him tight, the young teen did not hug her back but Greta did not mind it. She simply continued hugging her grandson until the sound of footsteps interrupted the silence around them. The three of them turned around and looked at Elder Griffiths who was walking towards them after offering his condolences to the packs who lost their children because of the ritual of the witches. He smiled at Greta apologetically before saying, “ I am sorry for your loss Greta. Jordan was a wonderful man and an amazing enforcer. It is hard to find a man with a golden heart like him these days, he will be missed a lot, I assure you. As someone who watched him grow up, I still cannot accept the fact that he is no longer with us.

Everyone was a liar, Moira used to say that she loved their uncle the most but when he died, she turned her back on him. He was humiliating because he died at the hands of those witches? Did she forget that the reason he died was because he tried to save them till the end? Once the elders were done handing their sermons, the casket carrying Jordan’s body was lowered under the ground. As Logan watched the shifters covering the casket with wet soil, Logan clenched his fists harshly—— his eyes were filled with tears of anger and grief. His heart was suffocating with pain because he knew that no matter what his uncle said while breathing his last, he would no longer stand beside him. Jordan will not protect him when he was facing danger —— from now on Logan knew that he was all alone. “ Look there,” Mavis pointed to the far-off corner of the graveyard causing Logan to turn and look at the red-haired witch. She had tears in her eyes and from the wounds on her body it was clear that she

“ You…how can you?” Moira felt like it wasn’t her face but her pride that was slapped by her brother, she couldn’t believe that he went ahead and slapped her on the face when even their parents did not dare to do it! What was more she was not in the wrong! She stubbornly looked at her brother and then said, “ You are just angry that I am speaking the truth, you can turn your eyes from the truth but I saw him begging and grovelling! Nothing will change that!” Logan smiled and then just as Moira thought that he had understood what she was trying to tell him, he slapped her one more time. “ You——”“ I guess you went momentarily blind because you seem to have forgotten that the reason our uncle begged those witches was because of you. You were the one who recklessly went around screaming and goading them, if you had a pea-sized brain in that large of yours then you would have known that you needed to keep quiet. But given how you oh so conveniently forgot that it was you who caused this

That night, Levy did not have a peaceful sleep. Because Logan did not trust himself under the effect of the dark witch’s potion, he did not stay with Levy leaving her alone. For an hour Levy slept peacefully with half of her body covered with a blanket, with cold air filling the room and the windows locked, Levy should have slept without any trouble. But throughout the entire time, she continued to toss and turn because Levy’s conscience was no longer within the four walls of the bedroom. She now stood in the middle of a graveyard where she couldn’t see anyone else, her eyes flicked left and right before she heard the murmuring. Hearing the murmurs, Levy turned to walk towards the direction from which the sounds were coming. With the moon shining on top of her head, Levy had enough light to see what was happening in front of her. CHOP!CHOP! CHOP!Levy heard the harsh chopping sound and then turned to look at the figure that was dressed in a large black robe. She couldn’t see the f
