Lahat ng Kabanata ng Mated To The Enemy Alpha: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

*Piper's POV*It had been forty-eight hours since Jaxon and the pack of fighters left. I felt like I was on edge this entire time. I felt sick to my stomach at the thought that maybe something had happened to him. I just wanted to know he was okay, but I wouldn't know until the fighters returned."Piper." Matteo's voice came into my mind.I rolled my eyes. I had willingly kept my connection open after Jaxon left just in case anyone tried to communicate with me. Matteo must've picked up that the walls were down as he took his opportunity to mind link."What do you want?" I asked with a slight annoyance in my tone."I just want to talk." His voice was calm as he spoke.Truthfully at this point I couldn't say that I felt love towards him anymore. He had kept things from me and was part of something dark. I didn't like what he was a part of and something was going to have to be done about it. The bond growing stronger between Jaxon and I didn't help either. It was getting in the way of th

*Jaxon's POV*"Did you find anything?" I asked Nikko as he approached me."They've definitely done something but I can't find anything." He answered. "I assumed they planted something here just in case we came. It's an attempt to keep us from communicating while we're shifted, however it seems more like all it's done is prevented us from communicating with home.""So I've noticed." I let out a sigh of frustration. "We need to continue to move forward, our link hasn't been affected so there's no reason to waste time. They wouldn't plant something here that would affect their abilities as well so we should be fine.""Are you sure that's a good idea?" Nikko cocks an eyebrow as he questions my decision."Yes." I responded. "We have to finish them off once and for all and we have to do it quickly. The sooner we return to our pack the better."I knew the odds were that things would be chaotic when I returned home. My pack was strong and a force to be reckoned with, but when they didn't have

*Piper's POV*Jaxon held my hand tightly as I stood by his side. This morning we had eaten breakfast with the pack and then he had them all meet in here to address any concerns that they had. They all asked very similar questions. They wanted all the details they could get and I understood why.Jaxon explained why they weren't able to communicate and when they had moved from the area the priority was getting everyone home. He explained how he tried to reason with Alpha Alec but he refused as he didn't want Jaxon to come for him next. He spared all the gruesome details of the carnage he saw.Once everyone was satisfied with the information he had given they all began to talk amongst themselves. Jaxon cleared his throat to get their attention back to him. There was still one piece of information he wanted to share with the pack."I have one last thing to address, Piper and I marked each other last night. She no longer has any ties to Moon Stone." He announced. "I feel like this was the

*Piper's POV*"You're awfully quiet." Dee points out as she looks me over."Just processing everything I guess." I responded. The information Jaxon gave me had been a lot to take in. I had no memory of him being part of Moon Stone. Of course with the age gap it's not like I expected I would. It also didn't help that by the sounds of it I was kept away from him on purpose."Do you want to talk about it?" She offered."I don't even know where to begin really." I sighed as I finished running the curling iron through my hair. "All this time I had no idea. They practically did everything they could to keep us away from each other.""Well, the Moon Goddess has a reason for everything. What matters is that you're here now and you're both together." Dee gave me a reassuring smile."That's true." I turned my attention to her after setting the curling iron down. "Do you have any leads on what my eyes mean?"Dee was the one who was trying to help me figure this out. She has access to thousands o

*Jaxon's POV*I looked over the pack as they all ate their breakfasts. Everyone had gotten a late start today because of the celebration. Normally I would've let them take it easy today. Instead I needed them to do their jobs and take their turns training.I could feel in my gut there was a fight heading right to us. I wasn't stupid and I knew for a fact Matteo would be pissed Piper was now completely mine. I knew this fight was coming but I just didn't expect it to be so soon. Evaluating the destruction of Silver Moon must've been an eye opener for Alpha Bradley and Matteo."Are you okay?" Piper asked as she grabbed my hand.I had felt a little on edge but her touch was calming me down. I didn't like that my fighters probably wouldn't get very much time in between fights. I already had to start sending people back out to see what information they could gather. If we could figure out how soon Moon Stone would show up then we could get some sort of advantage."Yeah. I'm fine." I gave h
