Ferran was eating his breakfast when his phone rang inside the bedroom. When he picked it up, Sanchez was calling.“What’s up?”“Are you going to work or not?”“Maybe? I don’t know. My whole body aches and I’m a little bit dizzy, you know?” Ferran answered.“Well, you don’t have to go to work today. You should take your day off.” Sanchez’s worried voice could be heard on the other line.“Alright.”“And I have something to tell you tomorrow.”“What is it? Can’t you tell me now?”“I want to tell it in person and it’s confidential. Someone might hear our conversation so I’ll better end this call.”“Okay.”Since Ferran had nothing to do in the afternoon, he thought of cleaning the whole house. Throw away what should be thrown away, fix what should be fixed, clean up what should be cleaned, and when he was arranging some things on a bookshelf, he saw an upside-down photo frame. When Ferran looks at it. It was a photo captured almost 15 years ago. Hot tears fell on his cheeks while staring

Trestan and Cally were waiting outside the operating room where Timotheus was being operated on. Cally was crying while Trestan was trying to calm her. He was so scared because of his father’s condition but stabilized himself for his sister’s sake. This scenario has been happening before but he’s still nervous.Trestan was stunned for a bit when someone tapped his shoulder so he looked at it. It was Simeon Ferran who was full of bandages. Trestan recognized the man but chose to just ignore him ‘coz he felt a little uncomfortable by Ferran’s presence. Ferran sat down next to Trestan, and just stared at the operating room’s door. Waiting for some good news about Alfarez’s situation.“Daddy will be okay, light?” Cally asked while sobbing.“Yes. He’s strong. He’ll survive. We’ll just have to wait for him to recover, so…” he paused, then wiped her sister’s tears. “... you need to stop crying ‘coz daddy might hear you and he’ll be sad.”Ferran couldn’t help but smile at what he heard from

“Yes, we argued but I left her after that to get a drink to sober her up. When I went back, that waiter was lifting her body and I even helped them.” Vinno explained himself.“What about you Ms. Noreen Amato? Her sister, Ria D’Aboville, told us that you are very angry with Ms. Bia D’Aboville which could be the reason for you to murder her.”“What!?” Noreen can’t believe Ria’s statement. She looked at Ria with unbelief in her eyes. “I admit. I’m mad at her and thinking of erasing Bia from this world but---““Noreen…” Vinno looked at her with doubt.“See? She’s the culprit all along! She wanted my sister to die! You should put her to jail.” Ria said with anger. “You! B*tch. How dare you? My sister is your best friend! What a shameless b*tch!?”“Will anyone please hear me out first? I will never do that! And for your information, we settled our issue before I left her sitting in that sun lounger. Maybe… Maybe she tried to commit suicide for some reason. I don’t know.” Noreen was tremblin

A month later...It’s another school year for the students. One afternoon when classes were over, Trestan was walking in a hallway full of students exiting their classrooms. Trestan is one of those who huddle with students in different directions. He was in a hurry to go to the laboratory which was almost behind the school because his close professor called him to go there. Rarely do people go to that part because that building is quite old and it’s a bit creepy but Trestan is not afraid to go because he is often there after class. He looked around and checked if someone was tailing him. ‘Safe.’He entered the building and the door made a noise which seemed to be similar to those in horror movies. There is an underground passageway where the secret laboratory is located. Before entering the main laboratory, he needed his fingerprint to open the door made of steel. When he got inside, he saw the professor busy with what he was doing in an area surrounded by a glass wall. The walls

‘She’s not familiar to me. A new professor? Or maybe, I just don’t really care about those people around me so I don’t notice her? Probably. ’She seemed to be burdened by the boxes, and Trestan couldn’t help but ask, “Miss, Is it heavy for you? You can give me the other box so you don’t have too much trouble lifting that.”“It looks like you’ve changed. You talk a lot.” The female professor mumbled.“What?”“Nothing. Don’t worry. I can manage.” She smiled sweetly.“Hey, Professor De Vega! Let me help you.” Aquiro suddenly appears and gets the box from the lady professor. “Aquiro, I thought you had a class?”“I just finished our basketball practice, Miss. Don’t worry, I can easily make an excuse.” She grinned and moved his eyebrows up and down.“Tsk. You’re just avoiding Ms.Valdez’s lecture today, don’t you?” Aquiro laughed at the lady professor.“Why should I, Prof.? I’m her favorite student.” He boasted, making the professor laugh. “Oh Trestan? You cut?” He asked after noticing his
