Kay.I open my eyes and the bright light in the room, harshly greets them making me blink severally to adjust to it.Assessing my environment, am in a hospital bed. The room is clean and neatly arranged and the large windows indicate it's nighttime, the countless stars in the sky proving my point.Am guessing this is a VIP room and am not dead after all.Thank God.Look down my companion,Carl is holding tightly on my hand while his face is huddled above my chest. He's basically lying on my titties as he releases sniffling sounds. Is he crying? My body is no longer in pain like it was when I fell. There is a throb in my ribs which I know it's gonna take time to heal. Apart from that, everywhere is calm, at least for now.Damn, I nearly died without actually having my first kiss. I owe Rico, If he didn't show up I would have been a bypassed case by now.Oh fuck."Carl" I croak out and his head shoots up so fucking hastily. He looks pathetic."You are awake?" he mumbles staring at me in

KayIt's been a week since I got discharged from the hospital and living with CarlMy body is taking its time in healing and I can't argue cause Carl is always here to take care of me.My grandfather is still missing and no one knows his whereabouts, I still can't believe he took the sword he had gifted me.Andrea is still in the cells and am yet to visit her, the only problem is that am not allowed out of this room.Carl has been working from home and his office is attached to his room, so any slight movement compels him to rush back here.Until he's convinced am good and I can defend myself if need be, am stuck here.My dad visits often and I can tell everything that is transpiring is worrying him a lot. I wish I could help him but I can only do that when am healed.Theo has been keeping an eye on my room at our house through the cameras we installed and everything is the way I left them. The flowers ceased appearing, it makes me think maybe it was my grandpa but they started appea

Kayla"Oh my God carl! help me get in some clothes" I rush out walking to the closet with him trailing behind me.I can't believe we just did that. Damn, I was so fucking horny out there. I can't let that happen again. We need to hurry before my dad kills grandpa."Easy babe, he won't kill him maybe just roughen him up or something " he mumbles looking through my clothes but am not convinced. My dad has a bad temper and he might do something out of rage that he'll regret later."You don't know that carl," I retort. He pulls out shorts and panties before kneeling on one knee to help me put them on. I think there is nothing to hide from him anymore, he practically knows me in and out."You trust people easily angel, that will easily hurt you someday," Carl says doing the zipper and the button of my shorts but I ignore him."Let's go", I mumble holding his hand but he stops me." Don't I get a kiss after everything?" he smirks and my face reddens. Why did he have to bring that up again?

Carlos."What do you mean father?" I watch her stand face to face with her dad and am shocked because she has never disobeyed him.She has always been obedient that's why ace loves her so much."He is a traitor, he betrayed us," ace says and she laughs dryly."We are all a bunch of traitors dad, you have killed countless people, I have, and everyone else here have. You were about to kill your father because he was protecting your own mother?" she questions shaking her head in disbelief" You don't know shit Princess, I will watch how you talk to me if I were you" he snaps getting mad and I know if I don't intervene it's gonna get worse."Am taking grandpa with me and if you don't let us in your house we are flying to Italy?" she says in determination and am about to talk when ace beats me to it."You are not leaving this house and if you do, it's only when your husband is coming with you" he bits angrily out pointing at me.Kay chuckles bitterly sizing me up and down. I know she's stil

CarlosHer laugh is so beautiful and it sounds like music to my ears. How I waited for this moment."Hey, stop laughing at me" I pretend to be mad and she stops immediately hiding her face in her hands flustered.Even the universe knows she's mine. No one ever made her laugh like I just did."You are so silly" she playfully hits my chest while she smiles a little, her eyes gleaming and her cute dimples appearing.Fuck me, she's so beautiful."I love them, they are amazing and if I knew they were from you, I would have used them sooner. Thank you" she murmurs kissing my cheek and I smile at her which she returns. That smile always got me, and I will give anything to see it every morning when I wake up."So no bikes for a while right?" I ask to be sure and she nods."Please don't break my heart" she murmurs her expression changing completely back to serious"I would never do that baby, okay?" I bring my hand to caress her soft cheek and she leans to the touch. I will never do that, even
