Lahat ng Kabanata ng Once In The Dust: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Willow Christopher laid me on the bed, and I became nervous. I had died a virgin in my past life, but that wouldn't be the case now. I was happy but sad at the same time. I pushed aside my sadness and chose to enjoy the moment. Seven months was too short for me to spend it feeling miserable. He gently began to undress me, and soon, I was wearing nothing but my nude-coloured, lacy underwear. "Beautiful," He said, taking off his clothes. I had seen him shirtless countless times, but now he was mine. I watched his muscles flex as he undressed. I wanted to run my fingers through his perfectly sculpted body, but I waited for him to come to me. He leaned over me, filling my senses with his scent and driving me and my wolf crazy. "Christopher," I moaned. My body anticipated and wanted what he was about to give me. "I do not want you to hold back tonight." He said and crashed his lips on mine. His tongue probed for access, and I gave it and allowed myself to drown in the euphoria of

Christopher. I was surprised when Mark mustered the courage to barge into my office. Love could make people do crazy things, and I could feel his fear. If I had doubts about Aaron not being Aida's biological father, what Mark told me Aaron wanted to use her for said it all. I also thought it was wrong for him to try to force his daughter away from her fate to marry her off to a madman. He had no right to do that. Mark and Aida had claimed one another, so he had no right to try to take her from mark and give her to Irvin, whoever that was. Apart from what Mark wanted me to do. I knew I needed to look into the matter because I doubted he was doing that to disband the group. I believe there was more to it than that, and I needed to know what he was planning. So I linked Garret to investigate. Willow and I were in our honeymoon phase, so we spent the entire week like rabbits, and I liked it. I had never felt this way in my whole life. I felt like a teenager all over again, and It fe

Willow. We stayed with the King for a while, and he was excited about the treatment I proffered. Christopher decided we shouldn't speak of it again until we were out of the Kingdom, and I respected his reasons. The queen walked in to check on her husband. "You are still here, Christopher?" She asked, sounding surprised that we were still with the King. "I asked them to stay," King Edward said, and she sighed. "You need to rest," She argued, and he shook his head. "I have been couped up here for too long. A lot is going on out there," He said, and the queen sat next to him and touched his forehead. "You need to rest, your Majesty," She said, and he laughed, coughing in between. "I will die anyway. I rather enjoy my time left living than spend it moping and taking drugs. In fact," he said and looked at her. "I will be going on a trip tonight. I will be spending a month away," He said, and the queen exclaimed. "You can't," She argued, and he frowned at her. "When did you start

Christopher I joined Willow in her office to wait for the doctor. I haven't been to the luna's office since I married Aida. The last time I entered the office, I had no luna and wanted to renovate the place for Aida. Seeing Willow occupy the seat made my heart swell. "Should we go to the lake after we are done with the doctor? It is a beautiful night out there," I said, and she smiled at me. "Yes, I would love to," She said, and I relaxed in the chair. Even though we had so much to do, I did not want to miss any moment with her. Knowing she wouldn't be with me for long made me desperately want to spend time and build memories with her. I felt it was unfair to put her on a clock while we were allowed to live the rest of our days. If truly we all died, we should all be on a clock. It didn't make sense. I wasn't the one who determined what would happen in our world, but I hoped the goddess would make an exception for me this time. I stared at my wife as she attended to documents o

Willow, The treatment lasted about two weeks, and King Edward was feeling better already. It was a miracle. Realising I was right about him being poisoned did not sit well with him, and he was glad he listened to me. As for the silver in his system, it dissipated a week into treatment. King Edward was thrilled about his health; I could understand his joy. From thinking he would soon die to having a long life was enough to get him giddy. He also seemed fond of me and promised to give me a title in his court. I wished I could stay long enough to enjoy the promotion. It was sad that in this lifetime, I was only passing through, and I had just a few months to go. I hated thinking about it and just enjoying my life, but my life was so good that there were times I cried about it when I was alone. I was afraid to leave the people I loved behind, especially Christopher. I wonder how he will cope without me. It was a hard pill to swallow, but that was my life. We decided to watch a
