Lahat ng Kabanata ng Kissed by the Alpha's Inferno: Kabanata 151 - Kabanata 160

Danika’s POV-“Did you ever bother to find the rest of your children?”This one question dealt a steep blow when Charles rudely interrupted me and adamantly refused to believe my persuasions. I wasn’t bluffing nor trying to butter him. Just how deeply does his destructive self-esteem run for him to willingly choose the path against redemption and relish in his misery? The rest of my children, huh...he did find the right time to tape my lips; I give him that. It’s never crossed my mind and it’s become a dilemma for me since its mention. I caress Chestnut’s hair out of her face as I watch all three of my children sleep. My mind is woven with brooding thoughts. The cool breeze coming in from the opened window brings my gaze to look out to the night sky tensely. I’ve got kids like these three out there. If not all, some of them must still be alive wherever they were sold off to. Everyone deserves a chance at life, even this helpless infant. No one should be deprived of it.

Danika’s POV.-As I listen to Charles narrating the tragic invasion of the werewolves’ lands and all that was lost, my heart keeps palpitating with fear and grief. We lost the sovereign Alpha, his Luna, and little Eelia among many others who had stood in opposition to the traitors and our mortal enemies. So many tears stream down my face as I clutch my baby and sob quietly, drops of tears falling onto his beautiful face that I wipe away clumsily. In all that adversary, Vyin had been on his feet, unshaken and never trembling before the challenges that threatened to cripple him. Did he even get the chance to mourn his parents and little sister?“You’re cousins with Nova?” He asks with wide eyes and I chuckle and hum, “Paternal cousins. My dad was the Pack’s Delta and my uncle was his younger brother with whom I lived with his family.”He nods away while I manage a simple smile as I watch him digest that information. ‘Do you want to tell him about it?’ Violet asks. I give it a t

Danika’s POV.-I should slow down, it’s not like he’s running away, ugh. I know, I know, but I can’t help it. For sure things are kinda progressing at a Snail’s pace between us but, we’re still moving either way. I frantically use my tingling fingers to brush my flying hair out before they get into my eyes as I enter the apartment building.Bloom and Chestnut pulled out their trump card yesterday and won us an exclusive sleepover at Charles’s. Those sweet girls of mine. I smile smugly as I step into the elevator and push the button to the desired floor. It still feels surreal. Too anxious with excitement, I’d thrust Liam into his arms since he was itching for his affection while I got the girls readied up and left to drop them at school. The elevator doors slide open for me to step out. Sucks I had to go for my shift, but who cares? I can spend the little time before we go pick up the girls from school with him. Liam’s my own trump card to obediently have him sit at home and w

Danika's POV.-I keep reiterating all Danny shared with me since that day. It's all that dominates my mind day in and day out. So gravely that my mood never alters from the pondering tension prevalent in my face.I do try to act cool with my girls and pretend I'm okay in front of the others at the restaurant. But it's not a solid lid I can force to stay still for long. Especially when my beloved mate is still putting up the cold shoulder against me and I'm repeating my glum and getting people worried for nothing.A brash nudge to my side brings my thoughts juggling and my mind disarraying as I stumble forward with a yelp."Oops, I guess I nudged too hard," A fake apologetic voice says innocently and I hiss and snap behind me while I catch myself in time before falling."Why you..." I grit the rest away, frowning angrily at him who shrugs with his gaze up somewhere before he lowers it sharply to give me a hard stare all of a sudden. What? Why's he suddenly the one to be displeased ins

Danika's POV.-"Hmm, I wonder what he's gotten for me then."The girls make a low squeal and beckon him to set them down as they rush into the bedroom to prepare for school. I watch after their gait and turn away to see Charles adjusting his maroon Blazer and arranging his combed-back hairstyle as he steps closer."Hey," He greets casually, bright eyes latching onto Liam whom he comes closer to gently caress his hair.I cheekily tilt my head as I poke a tease at him, "So, what did you get for me and Liam?"He makes a short laugh as he meets my eyes while smiling subtly to say, "I'm bringing you guys to Ina after we drop the girls at school.""He goes by Sam, and we've only got two days before they leave for their trip."He divulges something else of dire importance as he skillfully detaches Liam from me to latch onto himself, making me frown with jealousy to glimpse at the happier expression the baby makes. With his attention on Liam, he furthers, "I believe he's the first of your tr
