บททั้งหมดของ Ruthless Alpha's Second Chance Mate : บทที่ 41 - บทที่ 50

The pack doctor had stopped by when the two Lycans left and gave me a second boost. The injection rushed through my system and I thanked the man for his help. He nodded happily and Mabel and I both watched him leave out the back. I stood with Mabel looking out into the trees when a bright clarity filled my mind. I narrowed my eyes at the odd feeling."I'm awake but weak," a voice spoke within my mind. "You're my wolf, Sierra?" I questioned and she replied yes. I grinned slightly and Mabel elbowed me."Your aura is back, Luna, and very powerful. Are your memories as well?" She asked me. I thought about it and nodded."Yes, they're in my mind. I'm going to ask my mate why he wed another," I mumbled sourly. Mabel chuckled and told me to give him hell. A pile of clothing came through the foliage on a pair of child's legs and I rushed to Fillan. I tossed him up into the air and spun him around."Love you, my dear son," I told him as he laughed joyfully."Where did you go? Your father and

Mabel arrived back with my son talking excitedly about some Lexi person and I glared at the old woman awaiting her to inform me how my stubborn mate was fairing. She wasn't saying anything as I glared impatiently at her. She continued to avoid me as Fillan ran up to me and announced that he now has a girlfriend. I raised my brow and asked him who she was."Lexi!" He shouted and raced around the living room. I rubbed my eyes and asked Mabel what on earth the boy was going on about."She is a young girl Luna has taken under her wing…she's a hybrid," Mabel said softly and my jaw clenched."Where did this hybrid child come from?" I inquired and Mabel threw her hands up into the air in frustration."Excuse me Alpha but I suggest that you take yourself to your mate and work your differences out. This back-and-forth nonsense is bullshit and needs to stop. You both love each other so admit it and get your shit together," she growled roughly and stomped out of the room."I've never admitted to

I feared that if anything happened to Fillan the Alpha would hold me responsible. Plus I'd be completely devastated. My wolf told me that I was thinking negatively and I told her to hush it. I followed Grayson south toward Frank's old pack house."Is this where those two are located? Where are all the old pack members?" I questioned sourly and he grunted."They all went to the packs in the north and some settled at our village," he replied. I nodded, feeling like I wasn't doing well as Luna and completely out of touch with the pack members. We traveled quickly and I noticed our pack warriors traveling near us. Grayson's uncle was racing several yards behind us and Harkin was running as he gray wolf. I smelled the strong scent of blood and stopped abruptly. I waved for Grayson to follow me as I headed toward the scent. I followed it right to the back of the old Wilson house."The smell is coming from the basement," I said softly. Grayson ripped off the locked door to the basement and g

I sat and listened to the hybrids asking Grayson for sanctuary within his pack. He was a good and fair Alpha for being referred to as ruthless. He told them as long as they were productive members they were welcome to build themselves homes within the Black Mountain village. Many of them had mates and I suggested that they needed to consume blood from their mates or farm animals. They all nodded and said they were already doing the practice which comforted me."Do you need to have blood?" Grayson asked me curiously and I shrugged."I ate a deer and drained it so I'm working on it," I told him in mock horror. Grayson chewed on his lip and fought back a laugh."If you need blood, you will drink from me and me only," he growled roughly and I grinned slightly and said, okay. Once the meeting concluded our pack had been blessed with a couple dozen or so hybrid mates. Grayson pulled me off to the side and I questioned his odd behavior."You need to take Hunter's threat to heart. He will try

I felt giddy and my heart swelled with joy at Grayson finally telling me he loved me. My wolf was howling excitedly within my subconscious. At last, all I ever wished for was to become a reality. Grayson called the others back and informed Devin that we would be leaving shortly. Michael had come in and said Harkin wouldn't be able to join us due to a family problem and The Alpha ordered Aiden to get Sinclair to join us. Michael chose to stay with Mabel so the five of us headed out into the woods."Can you still hear his call?" Devin asked me as he ran up beside me."Can you not hear your own brother's whistle?" I asked him bluntly. His smile faltered and he frowned. I watched him huff and shake his head."I can but it's jumbled with the others and I am unable to pinpoint it," he said staunchly. "Is it wise to trust the bloodsucker?" Sierra growled in my mind and I shrugged as I kept my eyes on Grayson. The odd whistling was leading us straight into Godfrey Cooper's pack lands that Hu
