Lahat ng Kabanata ng ROCK MY HEART: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 38

Las Vegas was quite different from Seattle. ‘This is the understatement of the century,’ Navy thought as she stepped out of her apartment and into the blazing heat. She’d found it hard to adjust to all of the changes at first. She missed Paige. Her best friend still called and they chatted online whenever they could, but it wasn’t the same. The pace of Las Vegas was also different from that of Seattle. Sure, Seattle was a big, important city but Las Vegas had far more hustle and bustle. There were always people everywhere, at all hours, coming and going. Tourists stopping for pictures. People drinking and acting out. Navy was more of a quiet person and she didn’t care for the rowdiness that came with working on the Strip. But the first adjustment Navy had to make was the heat. ‘Sweet Mother of God, the heat was… unbelievable!’ She’d always liked warm weather, but when the hot desert sun blazed on her dail

Emotions and sensations ripped through him, like a tornado. Navy abandoned his neck, her mouth going to his chest. Her lips felt like fire on his skin, teasing over his flesh, her tongue circling his nipples, coming perilously close with each swirl. Victor ran his hands through her hair, holding Navy to him, but they fell to his sides when she broke free and stepped back. Her gaze never left his as she shed her jeans and her panties, moving with a sensuality that damn near killed him. Deep desire slammed into him as Navy tossed the rest of her clothes away and stood before him fully naked, his for the taking. He stared at her, finding it most difficult to take his gaze off her beautiful body and how she offered it up to him.“Baby,” Victor whispered, the love he felt for her coming over him, blindsiding him and leaving him feeling like he’d been sucker punched. His heart squeezed as he watched her, not daring to move… to speak… to breathe… He st

When Monday morning rolled around, Navy had a definite skip in her step. Early that morning, Victor had returned to Seattle, but not before spending two amazing days and nights with her at her apartment. She had been happy in Vegas before she and Victor had rekindled their relationship. But now, everything felt right, perfect… All the planets were perfectly aligned and everything in her life was starting to fall into place. Victor had already texted her before the plane took off, and Navy eagerly awaited his arrival at home, when he would call her. She missed his voice, the way he roughly cleared his throat when he wanted her, his breath on her ear, the way he was ‘punishing’ her for being such a bad girl in bed... The way he made love to her the past couple of days was so rough, passionate, erotic… Victor was the same as before, outside the bed… Kind, thoughtful, attentive, romantic, sweet… But when they were in bed, well… he was someone differe

Victor let himself into Navy’s apartment with the key she had given him. He was already booked in a suite on the Strip, for convenience of his scheduled meetings, but he knew that he would be spending every night in Navy’s bed. Speaking to her on the phone the past few days was quite strange. She was… distant, and cold. Not her real usual self. When he asked her if anything was wrong, she gave him an ‘everything’s just fine’ that he didn’t quite trust. He shook it off, telling himself that the awkwardness came from the distance, the stress, and working too much and that things would be fine when they were actually together in the same city. Shutting the door behind him, Victor inhaled. He could smell her everywhere and smiled satisfied. Now that he was back with Navy, every day was a relief. He felt lighter and stayed positive, even when work became too much, he knew that he had Navy. Yes, there was distance between them but she was only just a
