DAMIEN I was standing before the mirror, staring at my reflection while solemnly putting on a shirt, buttoning slowly with a somber look on my face. Today, I visit Blue Stone's pack to see Amanda and the day after that was the rest. AMAIRA'S POVAudrey screamed as the window was smashed with the butt of their gun, and I was quick to pull her down to the floor of the car, taking the punch the man threw at her. Cursing, I leaned back, tasting my own blood in my mouth. It was a metallic taste and I spat disgustingly before drawing back when I noticed he had opened the door from the inside and was reaching out to hold me. "Ahh! Get away from me." I hear Audrey scream, and I panickyly turn to see the other hunter had grabbed her by the hair and was pulling her out. I hesitated as the other man pulled me out, so I groaned when he threw me down to the ground, blood filling my mouth again, tears running down my eyes as I helplessly watched Audrey bundled up by the man. It was only us against them, and while I was wounded and held down on gun point by the man, Audrey was being tied up by the other. AMAIRA'S POV On inching backwards, I felt a sharp sensation behind me prick my back, and I gasp, reflexively scrambling aside with the side of my knees to get a view of whatever that was. I was unable to properly move my legs since my ankles were tied up. I peered closely in the dark and realized it was a sharp splinter which was sprouting out from the huge door behind me. An idea frantically pops into my head, and I quickly scooched close, my wrists held up to the splinter. Without a second thought, my pants and breath growing ragged by the minute, I began moving my bound wrists up and down, tears running down ky eyes at the excruciating pain I felt when the splinter tore through the ropes bound around my wrists. Our breaths were heavy, and I felt tears well up in my eyes when I turn to lie on my back, gazing at the sky, hearing footsteps approach her. "I'm Sorry... " I whisper to Audrey as I hear the footsteps get closer. I had failed her.
