"Do you want me to wait up and drop you guys at Michael's house?" Luna asked June when they got to Angel's school."Why are you offering to drop us home?" June asked and Luna chuckled"No smoking weed, I will just drop you guys off and be on my way if it's fine with you," Luna said "Fine, let me bring Angel out, and in the meantime, why don't you park your car well," June said and Luna nodded "Aye, aye captain," She said and June rolled her eyes before she got down from the car. Luna drove away and she went into the school, It was easy for her to spot Angel who was sitting on the sand playing with another girl."Angel" June called with a smile and at the sound of her name, June's head shot up and she wore the cutest grin. "June" She yelled and ran up to her to hug her, her friend ran after her and hugged June too. "Now who do we have here Angel?" June asked Angel as she looked at her friend. "This is Hannah, she likes my hair," Angel said and June patted Hannah's head. "Are you

June stood up from the sofa when she heard Michael honk. She checked the time to see that it was almost 11 pm, She didn't know that she would stay that long but she couldn't leave Angel all alone at home when Michael wasn't home.Michael got into the house and he stared at June in shock, she gave a little smile and he smiled back. "You are still here," He asked but it was more like a statement."I'm here, you don't expect me to leave Angel all alone at home when you aren't here," June said and he nodded."Have you had dinner?" He asked "I should be asking you that considering the fact that you worked all day," June said "I didn't have dinner yet but the snacks you sent to me earlier worked just fine," Michael said and she nodded. He stared around the living room and she cleared her throat. "Are you looking for Angel, she is up in her room, I took her there after dinner" June said and he nodded. The air between them was so fucking awkward and June didn't know what to do. She had so

"I got the call from the real estate investor a few hours ago Mr. Stahom" Michael's secretary said as she passed the files to Michael and Frank who was currently sitting in the office trying to come up with a strategy for the product. "And what did he say?" Frank asked as he opened the file "He told me to arrange a meeting with you two, he would love to see you by the end of the week, Friday actually," She said and Michael nodded."That's tomorrow evening, do you have anything planned for tomorrow frank?" Michael asked frank "I will check with my secretary first and then get back to you Michael," Frank said "Anything is fine with me, I want us to close this up and start the process immediately," Michael said and Frank nodded in agreement. "Can you get you coffee Mr. Stahom, Mr. Frank?" She asked"Yes you can, I don't drink black coffee like your boss here, I like a lot of cream in mine, thank you," Frank said "Okay sir, I will be back," She said, and then she left the office. Fr

Michael left work after the long day, Frank asked if he would love to grab a drink after all the work but Michael refused because he was tired and he was aching to see Angel and June. He still hadn't asked her on the date officially and was still planning to. His phone was dead so he couldn't call her to tell her that he would be home late, he didn't have the time to charge it because they were too busy today. But June would understand him and stay with Angel till he got back. That's what he liked about her, the fact that she always tried to help him even if he didn't ask her to. Michael drove into the compound that night only to see that another car was parked at the spot where he usually parked his car. Michael got down from his car and picked up his bag before locking his car. "What the fuck is James doing in my house" He cussed out as soon as he got closer to the car. He knew that black car anywhere he sees it. He knew their cars, both James and Benjamin and he didn't care how

"Michael and I are dating" June said and Layla laughed at her sister."Tell me something I didn't predict June. I knew it the first time I met Michael that you guys were going to become a thing, it happened later than I expected but it happened anyway" Layla said and June rolled her eyes. "Don't say that if you see him. we just started dating I don't want it to seem like I'm obsessing over him" June said and Layla nodded"How is mum doing now, I have been busy with school because the final exams are around the corner and so I haven't been able to pay her a visit, but I plan to visit her tomorrow," Layla said "That's why you are still up, you were waiting for me to get back to ask me?" June asked and Layla nodded her head in agreement."I miss mum so much that sometimes I wish she was home with us," She said and June frowned. "But I like having you around June, you are my second mum" She added and June's frown was quickly replaced with a smile. Layla must have been that June was not
