50. The truth is revealed

LILIANA lot of people already gathered at the square preparing for what is to come today. As Fay and I walked to join the crowd, my heart raced anxiously. I could barely breathe properly and it was taking all in me not to freak out. I didn’t want Fay to notice either.“There’s a lot of people. I just hope things turn out well,” she whispered beside me.I don’t know where Damon took Asher to and where he has been all day. I make my way to the place I knew he’d be if he comes. Fay followed behind me.Just when I got there, they announced Damon’s presence and I had to tilted my head so that I could see him. The crowd welcomed him as they cheered for him. They seem excited and looking forward to today. I walked closer to I could be closer to him but behind him and not too close at the same time so that I would be close enough to be able to get closer when the time comes.“Today, we will, first of all, give a minute of silence to one of our own who was killed two days ago and we will giv

51. Thank you

DAMONLilian is one stubborn being. If I had not held her back, she would have gone to do something else and would have ruined it all. She’s so impatient and even at that, I’m drawn to her. Actions like that from her make me smile. When she asked the matter be investigated and she mentioned the fact that someone might want to create a misunderstanding between both packs, I knew she might have a point but decided to tease her.Honestly, I admire how she’s able to know when something is wrong and can figure it out without having to do much. That’s a trait of hers that I liked.I teased her to the point she said she’d do anything as long as I’d investigate the matter. Honestly, there’s nothing I wanted from her but it wouldn’t be bad having her do what it is that I wanted. When she came to my room last night to ask about Asher and the investigation I did, all I did was tease her and make her think I didn’t do anything and Asher was guilty. It was funny how she easily believes that I did

52. Let’s see

LILIANI was barely paying attention to what Fay was saying simply because I was lost in my thoughts, thinking about Damon who I haven’t seen in days after the night we kissed. Was I avoiding him? Was he avoiding me? Maybe. Why do I think so? Probably because I haven’t seen him and it’s unlike him to not be at the dining for breakfast or dinner and I wasn’t informed where he went to.I know he doesn’t tell me any of those things and we don’t have a relationship where it has gotten to that but at least we talk.I mentally scolded myself because I know we haven’t spoken about any of this and the only time we talk, we are fighting honestly, I am not happy I haven’t seen him and I don’t know where he is.I’m not supposed to be bothered but I am and I’m angry about it. “Are you listening to me?” Fay's voice snapped me back to reality.I was a little startled. “What were you thinking? Where were you at mentally?” She questioned.“Nothing,” I replied, almost breathy she doesn’t believe me

53. Outside

DAMONShe glared at me. She was glaring at me as if she could do anything when in all honesty, she couldn't.She didn't see me for days only to see and make demands. Typical Lilian. It's something I'm used to but I didn't expect her to just get straight into it.After coming from the meeting with the other packs that went on for three days, I decided to come to see Lilian. She was on my mind all the while I was away and surprisingly I was unable to not think about her. No matter how hard I tried not to think about her, I just couldn't help it.One thing ended up reminding me of her and each time she was on my mind, I would smile unconsciously before realizing it.I was excited to see her. I had come to her room because I wanted to see her. I should be thinking of punishing her for what she did and what did she do? She invaded my spaces and only she filled my thoughts and for that, she’d be punished.“You are so annoying. Leave my room!” She demanded.“Or what?” I questioned. One minu

54. Fire and fire

DAMONTalk about crazy, you would easily fit Lilian into that category."Come any closer and I'd be sure to do more than that," she warned the man that made l advances to her under my order. They wouldn't dare fight her back, not after my warnings. I was amused by it. This is the side of her that I loved to see and it gave me a wonderful idea. Maybe I should call a tournament and make her participate. I mean she's strong so it would be nice seeing her in action."I see you want a fight," I clicked my tongue as I walked closer to her."Don't come any closer and don't make an attempt to touch me or I promise that you will lose your teeth," she seethes and that makes me smirk. My teeth? She did not just say that. What's with their feisty attitude here? I know she has always been hotheaded but this side of her makes me find her more attractive."I'd love to see you remove my teeth," I said and before I could take a breath, she had made an attempt to hit me but I caught her hand before it

55. The attack

DAMON"What do you want?" I asked the little hot-headed princess who also happens to be my mate as soon as I sensed her presence in my room."What do I want? Are you asking me? What do I want? I honestly don't know what it is that I want so please why don't you guess?" I could tell that she smirked after uttering her words. We are here for her friend's wedding and I honestly looked forward to seeing what it is that she planned to do to me because she made it clear that when we come here, she'd be sure to remind me that I'm in the place she grew up in and doing crazy things wouldn't be difficult for her."I don't know so surprise me. I love to be surprised," I told her."You are acting tough," she stated."Acting tough? Is that even a thing? Why would you think that I'm acting tough? Do I look tough like someone who'd act tough? You might think because we are here I won't be able to punish you but I'd love to surprise you because I'd punish you," I replied. She rolled her eyes, scoffin

56. His way

THIRD PERSON POVThe Alpha of the Blue-rose pack was furious to find out that his son-in-law has been attacked and the perpetrators were still on the loose.Damon would stop at nothing until he finds out who it was that attacked him.Liliana has been trying to think of anything and anyone that could be responsible but no one popped into her mind simply because she has been gone for a long and no one was suspicious."We will get to the bottom of this. In two days we will celebrate two of our own and someone attacked you the night of your arrival, I will make sure that the person is brought to Justice," The Alpha of the Blue-rose pack assured Damon."I do appreciate your effort but I would love to be the one to decide what happens to that person if caught. If you will not mind, let me be the one to punish that person," Damon stated."If you say so. I am sorry for the inconvenience. I had no idea and it wasn't expected. I know some of the wolves of my pack are still not happy about the U

57. What to do

THIRD PERSON POVWhen the Shadow pack and Blue-rose pack decides to accept the fact that Damon and Lilian were mate and become one, a lot of packs weren't threatened by this union. It has never happened before. Every wolf found their mate within their pack but suddenly the Shadow-pack alpha is mated to the princess of the Blue-rose poach. They've been enemies for as long as anyone could remember so why were they decided to accept the will of the moon goddess, a lot of packs did not appreciate this as they felt it would stand out and dominate all other packs. They decided it would be best for them to come in between this union just that it wouldn't be known and destroy everything. "Alpha," the beta of the Coast pack said."Any information?" The alpha of the coast pack asked."The men that had infiltrated the blue-rose pack have not returned so we have no idea if they were successful or not," the beta informed the alpha. They already got information from insiders in the Shadow packs t

58. The legendary tale

THIRD PERSON POV“it is nothing new that the other packs aren’t happy about the union of our pack and I would be lying if I said I am not aware that not all the wolves of my pack are not happy about the union too.”“I will like to apologize to you for what has happened. When I went over to the Shadow pack territory, I was safe until I returned and you came here only to get attacked the first night and I promise you that I’d do everything to make sure the culprits face Justice.”The Alpha of the Blue-rose pack apologized. It hurt him to know that his son-in-law got attacked the day he arrived and it not only left a bad image but also showed that his wolves have been slacking off and there is someone amongst them who has betrayed them. For the culprits to come that far from the chambers where Damon would be residing while in their territory, shows that their security is weak and also someone betrayed them and gave them access. The wolves of the Coast pack won’t say anything even after b

FAYThe wedding happened and everything went smoothly. I couldn't believe that I was married. After we said the vows, a drop of tears slipped down my cheek.I couldn't believe that I am married. I've looked forward to this day and I'm glad that I got married to someone I admire for a long time.I never admired someone to the point of wishing they were mine because I knew that things might not go the way planned and if you admire someone and they ended up being someone else mate, it hurts so I was always careful to never let my feelings go more than it should be.I was really happy to know that Asher was my mate. It made me very happy. I have always admired him and also he was my friend although we weren't close because I didn't want to get to a point where I'd develop feelings for him still it didn't change the fact that I admired him as a man. After we found out and started to get close to one another and get to know each other better, he revealed that he has always admired me and th
