Kathleen povI was able to meet up in time, the traffic on the road wasn't that bad. I was five minutes late, at least Jason isn't back from the trip to scold me for coming to work five minutes late.I went to my office to get started with the bunch of work I left on Friday before going home. I didn't have time to finish because I had to go get the dress I had worn for the wedding.I turned on the laptop and began typing. Suddenly, the telephone rang out.On hearing it, I got startled. The telephone was only connected to Jason office and only when there a few calls for investors who would be coming for meetings. The first thing I checked was there wasn't any meeting holding in the company today because Jason wasn't around. I had canceled every meetings that was meant to hold in the company. The telephone range again. Kathleen pov"What the fuck is going on?" Jason's voice snapped me from my thoughts. I glanced at him. He glared at me for some seconds before taking his gaze to Derek. "Heyyy, it Tony. The dude who got married before the both of us." Derek turned to Tony. "Am sorry that I couldn't make it to your wedding, I got some killing to do." Killing? What was he saying? It obvious he is drunk. Tony laughed out… It was kinda a fake but i missed hearing him laugh at my boring jokes. Lora and lizzy always say I am a bad joker but to Tony, I was really funny. "Uh, I get it… I get it." Tony said quickly. He walked to Jason desk. "When did you get back?" Jason asked. Tony shrugged."Three days ago." "So what are you doing here?" Jason asked. "We need to talk." Tony said. "Kathleen leave, cancel all my meetings for today." Jason said, already in a bad mood. I nodded and turned to leave. I closed the door gently on my way out. I sighed and began walking to my office. I already canceled

Jason pov"Do you really want the job?" I asked. He nodded. "I won't be here if I didn't really need the job." He just wanted to be close to Kathleen, I will show what closeness means. "You could join the team. I guess they need extra hands in their jobs." I said dully. "Now leave my office." He didn't bother saying anything, he turned and left my office. Fucking asshole I wondered what my cousin sees in her. I should have prevented that wedding. I took my telephone and called Kathleen. He did be in her office now. I glanced at the gun on my desk. I should have fuck out a bullet in one of his leg. I scoffed. I should save it for him, I know he was going to do something that would give me a reason to kill him. I took the gun and put inside my drawer then closed it. She picked and I instructed her to be in my office right now. She entered my office few minutes later. I watched her closely to see if she was happy to see her ex. "Sir, you wanted to see me." She walked to m

Kathleen pov She smirked. "This is nothing compared to what I was going to do with you and the life of your stupid friends."I drew my brows. "What? My door pushed opened and Derek walked in.He was surprised when he saw how messy my office was and blood on the floor." What the fuck happened? "He rushed to me." Are you okay? ""What? Yeah I am but I don't think she is." I said. I couldn't get my breath stable while staring at the dripping blood, I was feeling really dizzy and nervous.Amy scoffed. "I see your not only satisfying Jason, you got Derek under your control too.""Why the fuck are you here, Amy?" Derek asked. She shrugged. "Nothing, just visiting."I took a step back getting prepared of what was about to happen. Derek noticed and held me."Are you alright, Kath?" He asked."Blood." I blurted. He glanced at Amy. "You don't mind trying to stop the bleeding."She shook her head. "It my blood, I can do what ever I want with it." she smirked."This isn't what I expected." We h

"" Hmm. "He nodded."So did you get any new information?"I stopped typing and rested back on the chair. "I have suspicion."He drew his brows. "Suspicion? On what? The mafia?""I know for a fact, no one dear to call threaten me if they don't war, but Antonio did. He knew his gang doesn't stand a chance with mine but that didn't stop him for demanding war between us.""Wait, did you spare his life?""Not for long, when I get the information I need he would be buried alive." I said.Derek sighed. "I had thought something might have gone wrong with his brain for sending in a threat. He is working for someone, right?"I leaned forward and rested my elbow on my desk. "I can bet it with you
