I think there is a chance a deep friendship would be broken today. There is no going back if Dane had said something to Jake regarding Heidi. I knew Jake was pretty serious and wouldn't hear anything against her unfortunately even if it was the truth. I wondered how could he simply fall for her. Hadn't he known how evil she can become? I still got goosebumps thinking of that day when I caught her trying to seduce my husband. If I hadn't stopped her in between I would have lost Dane forever. She could have hurt us deeper than ever before.I jumped when I saw Dane coming into the room. He was so early today. I wonder whether he confronted Jake about her. If that is the case I was sure that he would have caused a great scene what with Jake's stubbornness irrespective of what she did."Did you talk to Jake?", I asked him without a preamble. He was silent. I knew I had done a great mistake by admitting the truth to Dane. I knew Jake might have hated me for that. But what else I could have

"Thanks, Ziva now I know who is my True friend", said Jake."Ziva don't trust him", cautioned Dane."Let her decide man it is her choice", said Jake."I want to be friends Jake no matter what happens", said I."Ziva I can promise that Heidi won't do anything like that ever again. If you give her another chance I can promise you that everything is going to be alright", said Jake."That is enough man. You better stay away from my wife. I won't allow anyone to hurt her ever again", said Dane."So it is alright with you if the hurt is caused by you? You are such a hypocrite Dane", said Jake."Boys stop fighting", I admonished him."Dane I have come to invite you to a double date. I will text you the details", said Jake."I'm not coming to your fucking date. It will never work out grow up man", said Dane.He just shrugged as though he wasn't affected by his comments. But I knew the sharpness of Dane's words had cut him real deep. But Jake would never show it. He is like me that way."We wi

"What did she say to you?", I asked curious."I didn't listen", he shrugged."What did Jake say?", asked Dane."I didn't hear as well", I told with a huff."Babe please be serious. I want to know", he said."We just chatted that is all. I told him that Heidi didn't love him", I said."What did he say in response?", asked Dane."He said he already knew it. Maybe he was working on it. He sounds pretty confident that he will be able to beat you ultimately and find his way to her heart", I said."What the fuck? Did he say those things?", asked Dane. Disgust was evident on his face."Well not in many words but that was the gist of our conversation", I told him."I don't care what they do as long as they stay away from you", said Dane."I don't think it is easy for Jake or us. He is our family", I reminded him."He used to be our family now he is an enemy", said Dane."You didn't just say that. He can't help whom he falls in love", I told him."Sounds poetic but is utter nonsense. Would you

"Herald will take you to hospital", I heard the order as soon as I pressed my ears to the phone."Dane that is very unnecessary. I'm perfectly fine", I said to him."No, you are not. A doctor should check you out. You don't know half the time what you are doing", said Dane."Come on stop being so obtuse. I know my mind very well. Stop making it sound like I was crazy", I said with a sigh."Baby I didn't mean it in a bad way. I want you to be in good health", he said."I'm doing great. I will consult a doctor when and if it is necessary", I told him."Fine, you win. But the next time you throw up I will send you to the hospital in an ambulance", he threatened me. He knows how much I hate being loud."OK", I said ending the call. Thanks, Fathima for doing this favour. I was launching on the couch nibbling on the Citrus fruits. I was watching the Turkish series which is all rage now. They are much better than watching Bachelor.I was bored there is no point in waiting around. I felt alre

It has been a month since I saw Heidi under cover now things had changed a lot. Jake is back in our life and so is Heidi. Her Instagram account is in full swing. She had gained back every follower that she lost. I was very much happy for her."Hey", said Dane.I opened my eyes to his beautiful face. I kissed him soundly on his lips. He kissed me back. His hands caressing my tummy."I think you have gained weight", said him."I have?", I asked him in surprise. I was often body-shamed as a kid. Now is no different. I was very slim but I had put on some extra pounds."It is a good thing. Don't stop eating", he said worriedly. He had a right to be scared. Most women had a love-hate relationship with food thanks to body shaming and eating disorders."I think it is all Fathima's cooking. She often makes these lip-smacking dishes I always take a second helping", I confessed."As you should", said Dane."Do I look good?", I asked shyly."You always look good baby. Let me check for a better ev
