Mr Joe's POV I was quite shocked to see the room was completely empty. My thoughts were that there'd be an ambush and the rest would have left with Camila. Neo sighed deeply and walked further into the room. There was a table in the middle of the room and I could see an object on it. He walked to it and picked up a phone, “Boss, a phone is sitting here. Do you think It belongs to them?” Neo asked. I walked to him and took the phone from him. “This must be it, The phone he's been calling me with. Here, hold this for a a second.” I said, handing the phone to Jax. He took it, whilst I quickly searched for my phone to in my pocket. soon found it and scrolled through, for the phone line. After a short scroll, I found the line and dialed it. The phone buzzed on Jax's hand and he picked the call. “Hello?” He said, meekly..I snatched the phone from him and ended the call. “They predicted correctly, that we'd surely emerge to save Camila. It was stupid of us, not that have seen this befo

Mr Joe's POV We left the building afterwards and headed for the car. The night was upon us already and it was a cold one, attached with the loud creeks of crickets. Jax got in the driver's seat and waited for us to come in too. After we had all settled in the car, He ignited the engine and drove away from the scene. Our ride went on for a very long time till we reached the police department. “Are you really sure you want to do this, Mr Joe?Once you go in, there's no coming back and I don't think they'll re-arrest them again.” Jax asked.“I obliviously do not want to do this, They tried to hurt Camila and I promised to make them pay for it. But now, It's her life that's at stake too. And I must do something before she gets hurt. I'll let the police do the dirty work while I'll deal with the culprits later.” I replied..He pondered on it and shrugged his shoulders, “Well, I guess we'll have to let it happen. It was because of her you locked them up anyways.” Jax said. I sighed and n

Mr Joe's POVOur supposedly long wait, was shortened when the culprit that attacked Camila finally emerged with her friend. On the sight of the two women, My fist clenched with burning rage. I could not believe I was really letting them just walk away from this. But there was nothing I could do for now. Going back to the commissioner that they get re-arrested, would only raise suspicions. Things would be handled by me, Secretly. They reached me and halted, quite shocked to see me standing and waiting for them. “Mr...Joe?” Ellen forced the words out of her mouth. “ That's Mr Joe? What is he doing here...” Jennifer, her friend mumbled. “Someone out there went through extreme corners, to assure that you get released this night. Know well that this doesn't imply that you're finally free from everything.” I said, menacingly. Ellen gulped and cleared her throat, in uneasiness. “You do not expect us to apologize for what happened. Neither did we really do anything to her. We'll take our

Mr Joe's POV I didn't think twice before yelling at Neo to assist me with carrying Camila to the car. We carried her into the car and all got in before Jax zoomed off with great speed. “Camila, wake up. Talk to me, who is responsible for this. They will die this same night.” I yelled, angrily..Barely ten minutes later, we were already at the closest hospital. The staffs were alerted and they took her in, on a stretcher.“Please Doctor, make sure nothing happens to her.” Neo said to the doctor, as they took her in.“You don't have to worry too much, sir. By the looks, I can tell it's just a minor accident or something close to that. She will be absolutely fine in no time.” The Doctor replied..His words only scared me but there was nothing I could do anyways. Jax and Neo emerged again and walked to me. “sir, is she okay now?” Jax asked, eagerly. “The doctors already took her in to check on her.. we'll wait and see how things go.” I replied..They both took their seats and I did so

Camila's POV They all kept mute, unable to tell the doctor about what happened the previous night. “It is not really important, but since she cannot remember anything now, it might be hard for her to ever remember anything again.” Mr Joe stated. “ We will run a few more tests to see if we failed to notice something the first time. This is so surprising.” The doctor replied. I gulped and gently laid back down. Mr Joe turned to me, with a concerning look. “Are you sure you're okay, Camila” He asked.“Everything is fine, you don't have to be worried, Sir” I replied. “You should all wait outside now whilst we run the test. This should not take too long.” The doctor said, urging the three men to exit the room. They reluctantly left the room afterwards and I heaved a sigh of relief. The doctor checked my head, and now I could feel some slight pain. “How did this manage to happen to you? We were sure you sustained no serious injury. And now, You lost your memory...” He mumbled..“Umm, W

Mr Joe's POV She smiled broadlly and walked into the vast living room, majestically. Nia and Jax were both sitting in the living room when we talked in. “Oh, they're here! It's so good to see you again.” Nia said and hugged Camila a, tightly. Camila could not help but to cling unto her friend tightly. The two seemed to have grown bond through her intense training sessions. They both parted and we took our seats. “ Thank you so much for saving her, Mr Joe You're such a kind soul. I envy her .” Jax said and laughed. “Do they all just keep on forgetting that Camila is my most precious possession for now?" I thought to myself. I cleared my throat and smiled faintly , “Of course, it's my duty to save her whenever she's in trouble.. she's my worker isn't she.” I asked.“ I'm glad she's okay now. What are you going to do about the people that's responsible for this? Master ?" Nia asked. She was met with an awful silenceness afterwards, as no one knew how to break it to her. I sighed a

Mr Joe's POV “That and many other things. Nico is more like a Jack of all trades. Just that he doesn't show himself around to randoms, that's what makes him different.” Jax replied. Judging on what I just heard, it was truly almost impossible to find someone else. “And there's also no way to reach him...a phone call or something...,” I suggested.Jax chuckled, softly. “That son of a bitch switches to a new line whenever he gets the chance to. I already gave up on trying to reach me long time ago .I can tell he's doing this to avoid getting caught.” He replied. “What in the world are we going to do now! Finding him is impossible and so is calling him. We're searching for something that doesn't exist.” I said and shook my head, in disgust. “That is when his lover comes in. Our only chance now, is to find his secret lover, who I happen to know...” Jax muttered. I stared at him, suspiciously. “Wait, are you sure you just happen to know his lover? You have been doing something with he

Mr Joe's POV Camila touched her head, slightly and arched her brows. “ It is still the same as it was...” She replied. Her response made me so uncomfortable and I wasted no time with quickly reaching out to my personal Doctor. I sat and we both waited for the doctor. Nia came back in afterwards, holding a glass of water. She handed it to her and Camila reluctantly took it. After sipping a bit of the water, she dropped it on her table and slowly laid down, to rest her head.Neo soon emerged to announce the doctor's arrival. “Bring him up here...” I said to him.He left and the doctor soon came in afterwards. “Mr Jow, it's so good to see you again. It's been a while.” Doctor Albert said, with a bright smile. “Thank you for coming, Albert. It's my worker this time, something happened and I need you to check if there's something wrong with her.” I said. She sat up, gazing at the doctor. “You must be Camila, I have heard so much about you.” Albert said, to her. He reached for Camila's

Jax's POV:Neo and I drove out of the mansion and headed back for Jacob's apartment. “How did you manage to mess up the first chance you had to get the footage?” He asked me. “ Let's just say there was a slight mistake. The flash drive did not copy the video but I thought it did!” . I said and smiled, faintly. “Well, this will not happen twice. We should be more careful this time around. There's a chance he'll be expecting us this time.” Neo replied. He was right, The man did not really want us in his house. I could tell it wasn't just because of the money, but because Mr Joe was with me. “ Let's just wait and see what happens now shall we?” I asked. Neo nodded and increased his speed. Few miles more and we finally reached the vicinity. “That's the house right there.” I said, pointing at one of the houses around. Something about the area always felt weird, and it was that not many people roamed around despite being quite a few houses around the area. “ Let's find a parking spac
