They picked the farthest meeting room from everything else, it was tucked in a back corner at the end of the hall on the second floor. It had a nice view of the woods out a large picture style window, a large round table in the center surrounded by comfortable office chairs, a counter across the one wall and a pull down screen they could hook a computer up to if they needed. After Cody left, Alys found there was a small lamp on the end table, she turned it on and ate the soup and roll he had left before taking one of the pain pills for her head. She had no way to tell what time it was as the only window she could see had been completely boarded up and only a small sliver of light made it through, she didn’t feel like she had slept long so she thought Cody must have just brought her lunch.
