《The Lycan King's Rejected Daughter》全部章節：第 171 章 - 第 180 章

Willow POV Rolling my head to the side, I close my eyes again and try to go back to sleep, but it is hard with Osiris sitting this close to me. I can feel his eyes boring into my skin as he takes in my naked back. "Are you just going to sit there and stare at me, or are you going to get some sleep?" I ask, hoping that it will force him away from me. "Your back needs medical attention," he tells me. "It has seen worse," I mumble into the pillow. "It will heal." I feel his fingertips graze along the scars that line my back. The wounds from the many battles that the Lycan King sent me into. I didn't always come out on top. Not when I first started training. My father's training sessions were brutal; I left many battered and bruised. But my father's training was nothing compared to Uncle Faris's. My uncle would train me until I could no longer stand and then force me to train more. I cannot count the number of days I had to hide the marks left by Faris's warriors on my

Willow POV I wake up to find the bed next to me cold. Usually, I am a relatively light sleeper. I can't believe that Osiris snuck out without me noticing. But then again, I have never felt as well rested as I do right now. Gingerly, I get up from the bed. The wounds on my back are still stinging from the fight with that she-wolf. Quietly I walk around the room and try to deny the urges I feel to be nosey. Surely Osiris wouldn't have left me alone if there was anything in this room to hide. The room has a woodland cabin feel to it. All of the furniture looks like it was made by hand. The bed appears to be made of logs pieced together like a puzzle. There is an old quilt on the bed that seems to be handmade and a century old. The fabric on the quilt squares is frayed and faded. Mismatched curtains hang on the windows. Actually, nothing in the room seems to match. Looking around the room, I make sure I am alone before opening the top drawer of Osiris's dresser. It is f

Osiris POV I don't know what I thought was going to happen when I touched Willow's hand. I thought maybe her blue eyes would begin to glow, and I would feel some sort of power exchange between us. But that is not what happened. I don't know why I expected the experience to be different than what I saw in the elevator, but I did. I expected it to be some intimate experience between the two of us. For some reason, I thought whatever was exchanged between us would make her realize I am her mate. When I finally managed to slide my finger under hers, Willow's eyes rolled back in her head, and her body went rigid. I panicked. I laced my fingers with hers and just held her hand for several minutes. I kept waiting for her to wake up. Tears rolls down her cheeks as I held her hand. It was then that I realized holding her hand wasn't going to help her wake up any faster. Pulling my hands away from hers, I let out a hopeful sigh when I see her eyes begin to flutter open. Her eyes

Willow POV Stepping out of Osiris's car, I cannot believe what I am seeing. We are in a small town in the middle of Nowhere, Colorado. I was excepting a ghost town. I was not expecting to see the hustle and bustle of people coming and going. Shops are brightly lit with open signs out front. Children run up and down the streets giggling, dragging silver and blue balloons behind them. I stop in my tracks when I look at the literal town square. In the middle of all the shops, restaurants, and offices, there is a large open area with a massive clock in the middle. The whole town square has been decorated with balloons and flowers. Everything is silver and blue. There is a large gathering of people amassed at the clock as if they are waiting for some important announcement. Looking down at my dress, I realize the blue under the lace is the perfect shade to match the decorations. A memory flashes through my mind. "Mom," I say in a small voice. "We should return the dress. I

King Faris POV I walk into the royal mansion that has been passed down through the generations of Lycan Kings. It is late, and all of the Omegas have since retired for the night. My footsteps echo as I walk through the empty mansion. But it wasn't always this way. The mansion used to be full of lycans and werewolves all hours of the day and night. But that was when my mate, Kayla, was still around. That is when things were still normal. It was before a league of assassins were killing in my name and before I began running Chow through the books of the City's businesses secretly. I go to the kitchen to find my dinner in the fridge. It was left for me by one of the Omegas. Placing the plate in the microwave, I sit at the bar and pour myself a glass of whiskey. It is something that Kayla would have pitched a fit over, but without her here, her rules no longer matter. I hear the soft padding of footsteps coming from behind me, and I don't have to turn around to see who it i
