THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS STRONG VIOLENT ACTS OF BEATINGS AND MENTION OF SEXUAL ABUSE. IT MAY BE A TRIGGER FOR SOME. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. HAZEL'S POV "So tell me, Luna, how does it feel to lose this battle?" Agnes smirked. She walked up to me, I was still in the clutches of Ethan and Paul. She smelt like fumes and sulphur. "Who said anything about losing, bitch?" I snapped at her. "No need to be in denial, you will die tonight. But first, tell me, how is my big sister Isis doing? It daunts on me, that your Alpha's pack has always been under her protection. That explains how he transformed tonight, despite all the wolf's bane. I see my sister still has talent," she chuckled. "Fuck you, Agnes," I spat at her. She slapped me hard across the face, "Never address me by my name little girl. I am a Queen and you will address me as such. Next time you disrespect me, you won't be such a pretty little thing anymore," she ran a finger across the side of my face. "W

ZANDER'S POV The table fell silent at my command, "Listen up, the full moon is tonight, we have to stay vigilant. Wolves who do not belong to a pack will be on the hunt tonight. We kill all rogues who set foot on our lands today. No questions asked." "Does right now count? Because I see a big dumb rogue sitting around the table." The entire table exploded with laughter, except for me. "Carson, this isn't the time for jokes, besides, Rollo is a part of our pack now." Carson's mouth hung wide. "Really?" Rollo questioned. "Yes, I figured since you're mates with my best pack doctor, I will have to keep you around to ensure she doesn't leave with you." Isabelle giggled. "What about my other rogues, will they be accepted too?" Rollo's eyes were pleading. "I'll take the children, 16 and under. We'll talk about the rest later," I promised him. Rollo gave me a satisfactory smile. Isabelle rested her head on his shoulder, then he placed his hand under the table. I rolled my eyes becau

GABRIELLE'S POV "Cupcake, you're awake," Carson whispered as he stroked the side of my face. I felt ashamed, Carson now learned that I was broken and used. What Mr. Buckwild did to me was my fault. He said that I asked for it and that I deserved it, wearing those short skirts to school and those tank tops. He told me I was a tease and that I was provoking him every day in class, with my long blonde hair and my perfect smile and ass. I hated myself for a long time. I tried to kill myself twice. The first time, I overdosed on pain meds, if Gerry never came up early that day, I would have been six feet under right now. The second time, I locked myself in my mom's car and tried to kill myself by carbon monoxide poisoning. Mom and Dad found me before it could put me to sleep forever. Then the nightmares came. I would relive the incident over and over again. It was an endless cycle of heartache and pain. And after years of therapy, I thought I was fine, until today when I heard the dev

ZANDER'S POV 'I WANT TO SEE OUR MATE!' Gidian had been irritating me since morning. The sun was up and the full moon was officially gone. I had to lock the twins in the cells last night to keep them from killing each other. I still couldn't comprehend they both shared Chastity as their mate. It was not unheard of for twins to share a mate, but it was very rare, like once every thousand years rare. I never heard of a shared mate being a human though! That part was undoubtedly new. "Wake up!" I shouted to the sleeping wolves. Talon was the first to open his eyes. "Alpha, where am I?" "You don't remember?" "I remembered the full moon and then Chastity came over and then — TOPHER, where the fuck is he?" "I'm right here shithead," Topher sprung to his feet and gripped the bars of his cell. He shook it like he was trying to break free. "Could you two just shut the fuck up!" My head hurt and I hadn't slept in two days, plus my mate probably hated me. I just didn't have the energy or t

HAZEL'S POV Even though I was tired, I still decided to pack my things. I sat in Zander's closet and I realized that most of my clothes were here instead of my house. Did I move in with him, without even noticing? I grabbed a few items that I knew I was going to need. I made a note to myself to get the rest of my stuff sent back to my house. When I was through with packing, I sat on the floor in the closet. I rested my head on the floor-length mirror and closed my tired eyes. "Kitten," I heard Zander's voice. My eyes shot open to see him standing in front of me naked! He was fresh out of the shower. "Sorry! I didn't hear you come in," I averted my eyes to the floor. "You can look, Kitten, it's all yours." He gave me a one-sided grin. My face heated up and I slowly lifted my eyes to look at him. I gasped as I took in his length. His V-line was a work of art. "I'll give you your privacy," I stumbled to my feet. Zander caught me by my arms and pulled me to his chest. "Why so shy
