Imara was coming over! That shouldn't get me excited but I was. I didn't know why I was so happy that she was coming. It was that she cared about me because of what I am or because of my situation, she was only doing things for her own benefits which I didn't stress myself on. There were many like that and infact, the king whom I have always trusted and cared for was worse than her.    I stayed out the whole day, waiting for Imara to come to me but she didn't come. The night fell with me still waiting for Imara outside but when it seemed like she was never going to come, I decided to go back into my room to do all I had to do and sleep again. I stood up from the chair and headed to my room.      “Ms. Casey..." I heard someone call my name and I looked back to see who it was. The healer. I turned around when I saw that she was running towards me. "How are you doing ma'am.

Expression
When we left the lakeside, went into the main building, everywhere quiet the way it should be. I, Alvans, Keith and Atlas sat round a table where out meals were served. This would be the first time I would be eating dinner together with them since we arrived here. It had been so tough. I was out of my consciousness for several days and even when I woke up, I was confronted with the saddest news I'd ever heard.     In my meal platter were, baked chicken, meatloaf, fajitas, vegetable stir fry with side salad. Wow... wasn't this too much? I looked at Alvans, who had started eating and when he noticed that I was staring at him, he stopped and dropped the chopsticks he was using to eat the pastas. He nodded at me and I shrugged. His nod meant, ‘what is it?' and my shrug meant, ‘nothing.' How cool to understand those signs. He chuckled when I shrugged and picked the chopsticks again.

Rogue
Alvans had been fighting alongside Casey against a group of rogue wolves that had been causing chaos in the forest. They were actually Johannes men but they had been lurking around as rogue wolves, hoping to find Casey anytime soon. Despite Alvans valiant efforts, Alvans had taken a particularly brutal hit, and he was now being tended to by the pack healers when Casey was able to take her back it. Everything just happened unexpectedly and too quickly.    Casey stood outside the room where Alvans was being treated, tears streaming down her face. She was terrified that someone who had been taking care of her would not make it. She lost her Nanna, she did not want to lose Alvans now. Alvans had always been a very strong man who was strong enough to defeat an army of hundred soldiers, the one who had always seemed invincible. Seeing him so broken and vulnerable was tearing Casey apart.    The sun wa

Arrived
Alvans had just arrived from the woods together with Keith and Atlas. After their hunt, they decided to have fun and they drank. Alvans was so exhausted, so he just staggered along the way, heading towards his room. As he was walking down the hallways, sick and unstable, he heard whispery voices coming from a nearby room. At first, he thought it was just his maids and some people talking, but as he got closer, he realized that it was too quiet to be a normal conversation. It was as if a rat was squealing around at night, looking for a place to hide.    Alvans stopped in his tracks and listened carefully. He strained his ears, trying to make out what was being said, but the whispers were too soft. Alvans could not shake the feeling that something was off. He could not ignore the possibility that they might be planning something that he should not be privy to.   He decided to investigate

Blind
Alvans had always admired Casey from afar, but he never had the courage to tell her how he felt. Of course, it wasn't something very easy. He didn't know how Casey would react if he told her about how he felt towards her. He had been admiring her from the first day he met her. He had been trying so hard to keep this to himself but, he couldn't keep his feelings inside any longer.   Alvans was sitting with Beta Keith and Gamma Atlas, in their usual spot at the lakeside where they view the waters flowing forth. They were talking about their day and the difficulties they had been going through after they were attacked my Johannes when Alvans decided to pop im his secret.    "Guys, I need to tell you something," Alvans said, his voice shaking slightly.   "What's up, man?" Keith asked, taking a sip of his coffee.   "I am certain you both know I h

Edge
Imara sat on the edge of her bed, staring blankly at her open trunk. She had never been asked to do anything quite like this before. She could not imagine that the alpha would tell her to do something like that. What exactly did he think of her? Find Casey, the lady who had disappeared without a trace, within seven days. Even that wasn't the case with her, she knew that this was what the king believed and not even only the king but also the whole pack. They believed that Casey ran away taking Morgan's help but the king still doubted her. How could he be so witty! The king had made it clear that failure was not an option, and that the consequences would be dire. She knew this was a very impossible mission. Even if she knew where Casey was, she would never thought of bringing her back. Not because she was jealous this time but because she knew that the secret that she was the one who helped Casey out and she would end up just like Morgan. This

Consequences
The men offered Imara a boat for crossing over the river but she rejected the offer, requesting for a horse in place. She was weak now and she couldn't sprint the way she had been doing before falling totally outta place. Being considerate, one of the men got her a horse. Imara rode the horse in a hurry, the wind blowing her hair back as she made her way towards the forest. According to the king, sahe had to find Casey before the eight days were up, or else she would face the wrath of the king. She knew the consequences of failing the king, and she did not want to imagine what would happen to her if she did not bring Casey back in time. No matter what her decision was, in one way or the other, she would be hurt.     As she rode deeper into the forest, Imara thought about the last time she saw Aidan. They talked about Casey and also how she would come to instigate Casey against Johannes but not for once did they

Reins
Imara clung tightly to the reins of her horse as they made their way through the deep and narrow forest. She had been traveling for days and was already feeling weak and exhausted. She had hoped to make it to the next town by nightfall, but it seemed that fate had other plans for her. It was normal and phenomenal, so she accepted it.     Suddenly, without warning, seven rogue werewolves leapt out from the woods and surrounded her and her horse. Imara could feel her heart racing as she reached for her sword, but she knew that it was too late. The werewolves were too fast and too strong for her to fight off alone.   "Who are you and what do you want?" Imara asked, trying to keep her voice steady despite the fear she felt.    "We are the rogue or lost wolf. Anyone you guys call it. Just know that we are not good." The person who seemed to be the leader of the werew

Break
Imara ran through the thick forest, her heart pounding hard against her chest, threatening to break apart the chest and jump outta it. She had just defeated the pack of werewolves, but she knew they would soon regain their strength and come after her. She had to get away, and fast.     As she ran, she spotted a clearing ahead and made a beeline for it. There, she found her horse, which had been taken from her when she ventured into the forest. She quickly untied the horse and mounted it, urging it to go faster.     She rode for hours, not stopping until she reached the small town of BlackLash. It was a quaint little place, with a few small houses and a main street lined with shops. She rode through the town, searching for a place to rest.     As she rode, she spotted a young woman standing outside one of the houses. The woman had long brown hair and

Weapon
Imara stumbled towards the two soldiers, her heart pounding in her chest. They looked up as she approached, gripping their weapons tightly.    "Who are you?" one of them demanded.    "I'm looking for Alpha Aidan," Imara said breathlessly. "Please, can you take me to him? I know you are part of his guards."     The two soldiers exchanged a wary glance, but eventually the one who had spoken nodded. "Follow us," he said, gesturing for her to walk ahead of them.    Imara led the way, her senses on high alert as she navigated the rocky terrain. The soldiers walked close behind her, their footsteps quiet and measured.     After a few minutes, they came to a clearing where a small building erected, smoke curling from its chimney. The soldiers gestured for Imara to wait outside as they went in to c
