The Alpha's defense

The guard snapped his gaze to the direction of where he had heard the voice. He immediately let go off her, as the matron approached them."What's going here?" She asked in a confused tune. The sight of all this confused her and she needed an explanation on what was going on.Although it was quite obvious that he was trying to force himself on Aerona, but she needed a more clear understanding of this. Why would the guard try to force himself on Aerona. she turned her gaze to see Aerona shuddering in fear, she had only a towel to clad herself.Aerona immediately ran to her side, as the guard was left to himself, bellowing his chin in shame. He had attempted doing something that was a taboo in the palace. Getting to force yourself on any woman against her wishes, more like trying to rape a woman was a sacrilege, be it whoever she was.And Erick the beta guard had gone against the rule, and all that awaited him were the consequences of his actions. The matron got a clue of what was going

Making up her mind

Even before the matron came to report this, he had his wolf telling him that Aerona was in some sort of danger, but pending to the fact that he hated her, he therefore showed no interest, as long as she wasn't going to die, he cared less. But after the matron had brought him the news, he then knew of the depth of danger Aerona was in, he knew she was in trouble, but didn't know that she was in one that'll rip off her dignity. And annoyed with the fact that Erick was still willing to deny this, he was moved to smack him with his claws so badly that he dies by it, but then he couldn't rush into his actions, he was an alpha and shouldn't be moved to react at the slightest."Bring forward the one who he had tried to rape, and as well as the one who testified against him." He ordered as they brought forward the matron and Aerona. He then raised his gaze to meet the matron and then adjusting to the left, he met his gaze with Aerona, their stares were locked up with each other. And for a whi

Confrontation

Her stares were more like glares as Zayn then turned to her.Her stares were of resentments, disdain and anger. Staring at Zayn only reminded her of his treachery, and all she wanted was for him to pay for his misdeeds. "I have come to know the reason why you defended me from the elders?" She inquired even without greetings. "I never asked for you help." She added in a rude manner, she was anticipating to show any reception, as all she needed were answers.Zayn who had being in the assumptions that she was going to return her gratitude for what he did for her furrowed his brows at once.He didn't appreciate her rudeness as he jerked out at once, he grimaced at her, as his fist tightened. Zayn slowly jerked out from the expensive wooden chair, tightening his ropes as he walked in a steady pace, and stood halfway infront of her.He appreciated her boldness, but it irritated him that she showed him no respect, but that was something he wasn't going to consider today. His reasons for s

Regrets

Aerona sat in her room. She was lost in thoughts as always. She stared at a particular direction without having a glance of whatever her eyes stared at.She was in deliberation on what happened at the palace, the way Zayn defended her and spoke only of good things about her, just made her think otherwise. She rested her chin on her palms as her mind went through the whole scenario. She neverr thought that Zayn will ever have to defend her the way he did. He shut the elders mouth with just some few words. The thoughts about all this, could not just leave her mind. She needed to know if Zayn liked her? If he actually had any feelings for her.Zayn's actions only confused her the more. If he'd had feelings for her, why then did he allow her to suffer as a slave. Why did he betray her and cause so much trouble in her pack. Why did he have to be so cruel, that he destroyed everything that ever breathed in her pack. He ripped Earlham of it's glory, and turned the descendants into his own sl

Convincing the matron

Aerona sat thinking of how she was going make Zayn fall for her. She was well aware of the fact that he had some feelings for her, even when he'd try to deny it all, she just couldn't take her mind off it.Celeste like always appeared to her from the portal. Aerona took her gaze to her and a smile formed on her lips."Mother." She called in a delighted tune."You're lost in your own thoughts again."Celeste said. And as always she'll appear beside Aerona."I'm thinking of a way to make Zayn fall deeper for me, I need him to be attracted to me." She muttered."So what's there to think, this shouldn't be a thing to think about." Celeste replied.Aerona released a frown. "This isn't as simple as I thought it to be. I have never seduced a man in my life, I barely know how it is done, so how do I seduce an alpha?" She asked in a confused state while Celeste gave off a smile.Indeed her daughter was so naive. She knew nothing of the world, as she has never being exposed to this sort of thing

The kiss

"I understand that this is your job, but then you should some times adhere to instructions, you shouldn't take the tea to the alpha today, you can do that tomorrow." The matron said and took it away from her.Aerona walked forward and the matron gave it to her, while the beta maid gave off a frown, she couldn't believe that the matron would take away her task and give it to a witch."You trust this witch more than you do with me?" She asked in furrowed brows. "I can't believe this Madam Rosa." She said to the matron."I am the matron, and you better not challenge any of my instructions or orders if you don't want to face my wrath." The matron sad in a harsh tune and led Aerona out.Aerona was happy that she was now opportune to serve the alpha his tea. She was now going to play her moves into getting Zayn to fall for her.Aerona was let into the chambers the moment she appeared at the threshold. She moved in with the alpha's tea, and tried her best to ignore the stares she got from th

LAST PLOY; AERONA'S DEAD END

"Thank you." The beta maid said in a smile as Aerona nodded and went back to making the tea without noticing anything.Denali kept on a secret smirk as she hummed and tapped her feet to the music playing on her head. She was certain that her plans were going to work out perfectly well. This were good signs, and she was finally going to get the pathetic witch out of the the pack and the heart of the alpha forever. She was going to make sure that Zayn spares not a single glance to her.She kept on humming as her mind went around a lot of thoughts. The thoughts of how Zayn will order for her death penalty , gladden her mind. She would be tortured so much till death comes for her, and her wished to getting rid of her will come to reality.Aerona oblivious of what she was holding kept on walking in a steady pace. She wanted to go meet the alpha. She was sure that he hadn't gotten over last time's encounter. She could perceive his addiction to her, and no matter how he tried to hide it and

Denali's cruel plan

Zayn and Aerona immediately broke off the moment the maid stepped in.Zayn taking his gaze to the maid who had interrupted their moment. "Why do you have to get into the alpha's chambers without properly knocking on the door?" Zayn took all on the maid."For... forgive me your highness, but the door was not properly shu, and I had knocked for sometime now, and so I decided to get in your highness." The maid replied."There is no justification for intruding into the alpha's chambers." Zayn replied. He was paranoid at the fact that the kiss was broken halfway, that too following the fact that he succumb to the instigation of grim just got him into an outrage. How could he have being this tempted to kiss her, when he wasn't willing to even spare a glance to her, why the hell was he now getting attracted to her after he made up his mind never to have anything to do with her. What the heck was wrong with him now? He still couldn't get off her taste from his lips as his wolf anticipated to

Stomach

Denali was going for the last plan. Though she never thought that the witch will get to escape all of her plans and put her into shape. The witch had called for a greater battle, and in it she'll come out victorious. She swore to destroy her completely, and make sire that her body rots in the dungeons. She was enraged with the fact that Aerona played smart and deceived her with an innocent look. And with this act, she needed to be careful. She in fact needed to be cautious and trade careful. If Aerona was able to divert her plans, then it only means that she was aware of it, and what she could do now was to come in the way of her dreams. This was something too much for her to take. She was willing to do anything in order to be with the alpha. She didn't care what she had to go through, but she was surely going to get the alpha, and this was something no one was ever going to stop her from achieving. She paced to and fro, contemplating and analyzing her plans. She was projecting the st

Final verdict

The alpha was still insisting to see what it is that Denali hid, he want going to let Denali leave without. Him taking peak of it.Denali couldn't do nothing at this point as she gave it to the alpha. He opened the bag to see some empty plates and things than needed not his attention. He took his gaze back to Denali who kept an innocent expression. She didn't want anyone to begin suspecting her now, ad definitely not the aloha."I'm sorry about this? I just got curious." He apologized as Denali nodded and took the bag from him, she was more happier that he suspected nothing and didn't get to ruin her plans even before she started. And with this she left his chambers to go begin her mission of sabotaging the image of Aerona and making sure that this will make her get punished severely. She bribed a maid to come tell her that her presence was needed urgently, and after which she got in and decided to hide the Mecha in her closets. She released a smirk. "Finally you'll get kicked out of
