The meeting comes to an end 30 minutes before the event begins; Nek excuses himself and heads downstairs. I continue to organize his schedule, while he’s gone.I don’t feel nervous about the event; I’ve been to many events like this, perks of being Nek’s personal secretary. The only part that makes me anxious is that I would not be only introduced as his personal secretary but also as his wife.I’ve attended many events as his secretary; but only one as his wife. To top it all i have to make an entrance all by myself, without Nek by my side; it’s pretty inconvenient.I’m excited but nervous; my nervousness makes me feel like hiding out, but that wouldn’t have a nice effect on Neks reputation so I have to show up.
