Hands together

JAX’S POV.I didn’t know why I was doing this. I had no idea why I had gotten the great urge to kiss her lips and breath in the scent of her. I didn’t know why I could barely think about anything else other than having her in my bed naked. I knew she was my best friend and was scared to taint that. I was scared to ruin the friendship we had built for so long. But as I looked down at her eyes, her chin cupped by my palm. I couldn’t think of anything else but her lips. I stared into her eyes, and I almost melted. I could see the sweetness and calmness it held.“I will be downstairs.” She said and attempted to pull away, and I grabbed her almost immediately. Why did I do that? I had no idea. Was it as though my body had a different motive of its own? Like it responded to a male that wasn’t me.I claimed her lips the more, kissing her like it was all I had left and my life depended on it because it did. I knew I had to give in to my urge quickly before it made me do something crazy and dr

Hastened pace

AURORA’S POV.I let out a yawn and drifted my eyes apart slowly. My body is sore and weak from last night’s lovemaking. I noticed he wasn’t lying beside me anymore, making me wonder where he had gone. I got up from bed sluggishly and walked towards his bathroom, my legs shaking and weak. I could still feel his semen in between my legs, and I immediately knew I had to take some post-pills to be on the safe side.I pushed the door open and walked in, wishing he was in there, but he wasn’t.The memories of the day before rushed through my mind. How had I walked in on him naked? How had he responded and reacted? The way he claimed my lips. Everything made me shiver.I bent down to sit on the WC and let the hot pee out, my head probably reeling from the stress. I washed up, playing with his semen a little as it laid on my left three fingers before finally raising them off.Maybe I would love to have his baby, maybe if he wanted us to.What were we now?I wondered.I had this great urge to

The house

AURORA’S POV.I pulled my sleepy eyes apart with force and let out a yawn. Unlike other days, I felt extremely tired and weak, but I couldn’t understand why; it wasn’t as if I had overworked myself the day before. It felt like the whole room had started to whirl around to toy with me, and I let it do its trick while I waited till it subdued.Okay, that was weird!I thought and squeezed my eyes hard to push back my throbbing headache. I felt it. The rumbling disaster started to roll up inside me as it attempted to run up my chest with speed and aimed for my throat. I quickly jumped out of bed and headed straight for the restroom. I twisted the knob quickly and pushed the door open with so much force, just in time to empty all the content into the sink.It came the second time, and I just let out, too and exhaled deeply. Why did this make us weaker?I wondered and spat out the lump of saliva it had caused inside my mouth, then flipped the tap lid up to let the water from it flow down th

Calm

AURORA’S POV.I stared at the pregnancy test strips in my right palm the minute I pulled them out of my back. The one I had stepped out yesterday to buy from the nearest pharmacy. However, I had to return here to boost my phone up before heading out of the house again. When I stepped out, I noticed that one of the cars wasn’t in the compound again and knew that only meant that Jax had gone. I was relieved that he didn’t inquire too much before leaving. Although by the time I came back last night, I wasn’t willing to use it just yet. I feared I might pass out if it were true because I had a lot of tension in my body. I had to wait and chill till the next day, today.I sighed and stepped towards my restroom after I twisted my door lock so he wouldn’t walk in on me. It was early morning, and I had heard a rumor about it being more effective than the others.I pulled a small bucket from where the buckets stood, about five to six. I was in no mood to count. I dragged it out and pulled down

Jaw drop

AURORA’S POV.We had set the meeting time to 3 in the afternoon because I wanted Jax to be at work before I left the house. I lay down in bed as I reminisced over the last event. I still found it hard to believe that I was pregnant. I knew I had taken precautions and drugs unless it didn't work.I woke up with morning sickness, my temperature rising, and my body shivered as I tried to fight against the cold. I knew it was too early for the symptoms, so it was either happening because of my fear or the fact that the pregnancy had been there for a while.Which could it be?I wondered.I heard a knock land on my door, and I pulled the duvet over my body, then yelled out a “come in” and watched him push the door open, then walk in.He was all dressed up in his Blue suit and White inner shirt with a Blue tie and his Black shoes. His hair was neatly trimmed to the side, and his face was shaved. He looked good. So good that I was almost tempted to jump into his arms and claim his lips with m

Specialist

AURORA’S POV.My eyes landed on Gary Patel, and my smile curled up. It was finally good to see him after a long while, plus he had grown so well and added a lot of flesh. It looked like he was rolling into wealth.Maybe that was what Doctors enjoyed.I thought and immediately wished I had chosen a different occupation or studied something else rather than the Business administration I had stuck with. I had thought I would end up in a high company and work in a very important position, then leave the life of a queen, but all that wasn't possible for now. I would sit for now because I knew there were things I could afford with the help of Jax, and that was why I needed to get this out of the way.He pulled me in a tight hug and released me to inform me that he had left at first but had to come back when he got my message.I wanted to ask which message that was, but I didn't because I was grateful for the turnout of events. I was tempted to pull my phone out and check, but I didn't.I sm

Good use

THIRD PERSON’S POV.A bright smile curled up his lips the second he pulled the door open for his eyes to land on her. He had come back to meet the house empty with no traces or signs of her. He had gotten slightly worried about where she had gone and tried her number, but it wasn’t reachable. He was glad that she was back.He was tempted to ask her where she had gone, but instead, he didn't. He had more things to bother about, plus he had a piece of great news.He watched her eyes land on the blonde in a Black suit on the couch just behind his back. Her name was Janet, and she was the one who had come to tell him of the news.Thoughts ran through Aurora’s mind.Who was she? Why was she here? What did she want? She wondered. Thoughts of her being his woman slipped into her mind, and she pushed them aside because he wasn't the type to do relationships.“Come on in,” he said and stepped away from the door to let her walk in. “Aurora, meet Janet. Janet, meet Aurora, my best friend.” He in

Wonder

AURORA’S POV.Just like he had said, I had gotten back to my room to pack my things like panties, some bras, clothes and the things I knew I might need. However, I could barely sleep all night as I stared at the ceiling and turned in bed countless times. I was so uncomfortable, but I had no idea if it was due to the baby or just normal.I had made sure to dispose of the test strip well so he wouldn't find it anytime.I woke up the next morning to the sound of the chirping birds. I couldn't remember when I had dozed off last night, but my body felt sore. I was weak and tired. I was also a bit cold. However, I didn't let this stop me as I dragged myself sluggishly out of bed and headed straight for the restroom. I could clearly remember him telling me of the flight being in the morning, something about 9 am.The time was just 7, but I wanted to be on the safer side. My eyes felt sleepy, and I doubted I had spent more than three hours in bed last night.Maybe I would catch up on that on

Away

AURORA’S POV.We had gotten to the airport just in time to sort everything out before we boarded the plane. He asked me to sit while he went with our items of luggage to do whatever it was they did with it.This was my first time being here and coming into an airport. First time boarding a plane. It made me nervous, so nervous that I felt like I might pass out from it. The other part of me was excited, though, to experience this whole new thing.“Be careful, honey.” I heard an unfamiliar masculine voice say, and I turned around to look his way, only for my eyes to land on a middle-aged man in his fifties, holding onto his wife, who looked a bit younger than him.She was dressed in free jogger pant and a free shirt. Her black hair was packed in a ponytail. He was dressed in Blue jeans and a tee shirt too.He carefully helped her sit as she held onto her waist to support her big baby bump.“How do you feel?.” He asked her, and she nodded gently in response. Her legs stretched out.“I'm

The trip

JAX’S POV.The flight had been a quiet one. She had spent half of it sleeping and I didn't want to disturb her.I found it hard to brush off the image from the mind. The part where I had seen her running her right palm over the stomach of a strange woman. Was that how obsessed she was about kids?.The smile I had seen on her face, the bright one.Did that mean that she wanted kids of her own too?.I wondered.Aurora’s love life or sex life was one thing I never discussed with her, because I felt like it was none of my business. Up until we started to smash, I had not idea who used to do that for her before me. I wasn't ready to know too.But was there a chance that she was waiting for me? Wanting me to be the Father of her kids? Expecting that our casual smash might lead into something serious? Was there a chance that she did?.I doubted so. I doubted that Aurora would want more, when she obviously knew I couldn't afford to give her more than this. Her expecting more from me, was one
