Lahat ng Kabanata ng Mated to the Broken Alpha : Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

JAX’S POV.I stared at my reflection in the mirror again after I curled my hair to the side. I was content with the image I saw; an undercut faded that I had achieved by myself with my clipper. I wasn't a barber, but I liked cutting my hair to my taste. I was dressed and ready to go. I flashed my white set of teeth as I tilted my head countless times to see how I looked.I was cute. That was no doubt. It was an Executive 3-piece pattern Tuxedo Suit. The suit, a mixture of Black and Blue, blended perfectly. The pant was Brown, along with the bow tie. In comparison, the inner was a White shirt.I didn't want something too flashy, so I settled for it.I stepped away from the mirror to pick up my phone from the bed. My eyes landed on the screen. The time was thirty minutes after Eight, and I had not heard from her.By anything, I meant a more detailed response or anything to let me know that she was also going.Or should I message her to ask?I wondered and immediately opted out because I

JAX’S POV.I was barely paying attention to their whole talks and all. I spent just enough to know when to say the right words, like ‘Oh!’ ‘That’s amazing,’ ‘I like the idea,’ so it would look like I was following. I was aware enough to greet the new ones I was introduced to as well.Mr. Kim was a big talkative who shared every single part of his life journey with everyone who cared to listen and those that didn’t want to as well.I had never found myself that bored. It was just too much that I was starting to regret showing up this night. My mind drifted back to Aurora, and I wondered where she was and what she had to do. This was my first time here, so I had to protect her however I could. Plus, I knew there could be perverts lurking around here, anywhere. I couldn’t let them take advantage of her being alone. I also didn’t want her to be bored.“What do you think, Mr. Jax?” I heard a familiar voice say, and I raised my eyes to look his way.It was Mr. Timothy. A business partner th

THIRD PERSON’S POV.“Let's go.” She heard a familiar voice say, and she raised her eyes to see Jax looking down at her. He looked angry and pissed, but she didn't know why. He had that look on, the one he did whenever he was having a rough time.Adriel was yet to return from where he went, and she didn't think it would be nice to leave without saying a proper goodbye.“Huh!” She exclaimed, then added. “You okay?” She asked, curious to know what was going on with him.“Can we leave?” He said, and she nodded and bent to pick up her purse. He walked in front, and she followed closely behind him.She was looking back at intervals to see if Adriel would show up anywhere so she could thank him for making her night a wonderful one.But he was still out of sight. The party was just halfway into it, making her wonder why Jax suddenly wanted to leave. Was there a particular reason, or he just lost interest in it?She wondered as she stepped into the car.He ignited the car while she put her sea

ADRIEL’S POV.I couldn’t believe my eyes the moment they landed on her. I couldn't believe that she was the one I was seeing right now—the same female had run off from the last time at the party. Too bad I never got to get her number.I had gone to get her a cold drink only to return to see her gone. Heaven knows I was pained because it reminded me of many things. It reminded me of traumas I thought I had let go of. Memories I thought I had buried. People I thought I had forgotten. People hurt me and stabbed me in so many ways.I could see the shock on her face. I could see that she wasn't expecting to see me. I could see her lips drop down a little. It made me wonder what she would do this time.Would she run? Would she ignore me, pretend not to see me?I doubted that she could.“Oh, Adriel!” She said sweetly, to my uttermost surprise and leaned in to hug me warmly. “I didn't think I was going to see you again. I didn't.....I’m so sorry about last time. I don't have an excuse, but I’

AURORA’S POV.I wanted to tell him so badly. I wanted to say it. I just wanted to let it out and watch his expression. But I couldn't. Even as I sat here, his fingers under my jaw, I knew I had not yet let him know. Hearing him talk to me softly made my whole body vibrate and made my woman react to his touch. React to the warmth his eyes held.Would he look at me the same way if I told him? Would he talk so softly with him, or would he shout?I know it's nothing more than “I’m pregnant.” But don't blame me if I couldn't tell him of it. As simple as those words were, they carried a lot of weight. It carried too much weight. My phone rang just in time to save me from making a mess of our friendship and everything. It was Gary who called. I stared at my phone for a second as I wondered if I was to pick it up or ignore it. Finally, I picked it up and watched Jax drop his fingers, and I saw that as a great opportunity to get out of the seat and walk away from him, far enough for him not to
