The next morning, Lillith woke up with tears in her eyes and to someone in her room. At first, she thought she was still having a dream. In her dream, her mother had come into her room, taken a seat by her bed and slowly, she had started to stroke her cheek lovingly. She was really happy to see her mother after several long years. Right after her parent's death, she had dreamt of them both. Over the months, her father disappeared and a few weeks later, she stopped having dreams about them. But tonight was the first night in years. And her mother was smiling this time. She didn't have that look of horror on her face as she gasped for breath and gave up the ghost.
