Chapter Eleven.Betrayal can cause a deep sense of mistrust and insecurity. This can be especially true when the betrayal comes from someone that the person loves and trusts deeply. This betrayal can cause them to question their own judgment and can be difficult to come to terms with. This can lead to feelings of guilt, anger, and hurt that can be difficult to process and can cause further pain and confusion.***Sophia.“Good work, Beta,” the Alpha comments. “Where has Joy gone? We cannot afford to lose her.”“Alpha, she will arrive shortly. She won’t be able to escape. We paired her with Lucas, after all,” he remarks. This revelation takes me by surprise. I know Lucas isn’t a good one, and I’ve never believed he is Joy’s mate. But how did the beta accomplish this?“As you know, Alpha, although Joy’s combat skills aren’t as good as that demon kid’s standard, I would still suggest we kill her in case she decides to take revenge for her family being slain one day.”The beta is still tal

Elena’s stance.I stand by the window, observing as Sophia’s mother pleaded for the truth. She is desperate to know the truth about her mate’s death. According to my father, her mate wanted to rape me; however, I have never met the Deta, so the idea that he wants to rape me is nonsense. Dad lies to her. I never blame my father for killing him, because whenever I see him, I see the fear he has for him and his family. He is constantly afraid of being killed by them and takes over his pack and people. Everyone in the pack knows they are extremely powerful. Their strength isn’t just that of a werewolf. Everyone can see they are not regular wolves. My father keeps his distance from them, but the pack can feel the power radiating from them. Whenever they are around, Dad felt small and insignificant. But despite his fear, he still respects them and allows them to stay in the pack. He knows their power can be an asset to his pack, and he trust they could use it for the good of the pack. They n

Alpha Andrew.Chapter 15.Alpha Andrew’s stance. (Elena’s father)Flash back. How Sophia’s father was killed. It is time to execute the plan to eliminate Deta Aaron. I have already exchanged Mark for the potion which is purported to weaken him. All I have to do is call him over and kill him.“Alpha,” the Beta mutters. It is time to call him over, or are you thinking of sparing his life?”“No, I am not Beta. Aaron has always been a strong man. I am only concerned about his strength. Are you sure this portion will weaken his power?” I ask. “Are you sure of this?”“I won’t say or do what I’m not sure of, Alpha,” he replies. “Please, trust me on this. This portion is powerful enough to kill a Lycan as well as an Alpha.”“What! I slam my hand on my desk. It was powerful enough to kill a Lycan? Are you planning to kill me after all this saga, Beta?”“Ha. No. What are you talking about, Alpha? he asks. “Why should I kill you, sir? What can I possibly achieve by killing you?”“My throne? You

Primordial wolf.Sophia.My hand transforms into a claw, and in a fast shift, I kill two of the guards.“Hmm! Your blood tastes nasty and sour,” I rage. “I’m dying to know how the rest of your blood tastes.”“Shit! They taste so terrible,” I erupt.I look into their eyes, I can see the terror, the sheer panic that has taken over them. It is like a switch has been flip, and I can sense the fear emanating from them. Yes, that is it. That is what I want. “Fear” is what it should be. I take a deep breath and smile as I savor their fear, relishing the power that it gives me. Without hesitation, I leap forward, my movements fluid and precise as I eliminate them all, one by one, until there is no one left standing. Their screams echo in my ears giving me a feeling of excitement.Elena and Lucas freeze due to shock and dread. She shivers. Lucas takes a step back, his eyes wide with fear. Elena takes a deep breath and swallows her fear, her hands trembling faintly.“It’s your turn to die,” I s

New start. New life.Primordial wolf.Sophia.“Mary, an order has come in from VIP room 20. Get it done quickly,” Sandra shouts.“Got it,” I say, hurrying to take the order. I have started my new life in the human realm. I rent a small apartment for myself with the money I save in the pack. It is a very small and antique building. I’m sure it'll fall apart soon. I started my new life here without having a single friend. Many girls want to be my friends, but I can’t easily accept them into my life. I’m afraid of being betrayed again because I have experienced the agony of betrayal. In my previous job, there was this one young girl that worked with me. Her name is Amy, and she looks exactly like Elena. She approached me and asked me to be her friend. I refuse her right away, seeing her face every day makes me sick and boil with anger and this pushes me to quit my job because I fear I may kill her one day because of her nasty look.I quit my job and now works as a waitress in a club cal
