SIRAWalking back Inside I felt bad for how I had just treated him. If I could take back my words, if I could take back time, certainly I would have done exactly that at that moment, but it was far from impossible, far from what I had to do.We walked back in because of the rain as we couldn't stay outside after it started raining heavily. This time I was the centre of attention, I let my self enjoy every thing that was coming my way. There was nothing to distract me this time —As it has been his custom every year, Cansil had thrown a party to mark the new phase of his life.Money didn't pose any problem to him, so everything was done in excess.Talk about the varieties of food, drinks, and the rest.Because of the crowd he had invited for his party, he had to involve the services of Myrtle Ushers to assist the waiters and waitresses.I stood at a corner of the room as I ran my eyes through the large hall that held 100+ invitees.Everyone was upbeat as they ate and drank without caut

EROSMy rapid heartbeats counted the whole event again. I couldn't believe that she did this to me , no matter how much I tried to push it to the back of my mind it kept popping back in, In a manner that was so frustrating.I remembered the gurgle of Censil words, the cold sweat encasing my body, and soul.I could picture the moment again when he kissed her and at this point in time I was pissed.I could still feel his presence even if he wasn't mine. The light scent of his cologne consumed me and everything pissed me off.I could still picture him at the back of mind kissing her, I didn't know how to describe it but it was right there and I was left with nothing else than to feel the pain of everything that was happening, at the moment the only person I could hate more than any other thing was myself.I hated myself for putting my soul in all of this, I wished I could change the hands of time somehow I wished I had not seen them kissing. It was hard to take back, it left me with so

SIRA For a long time, my gaze remained on Eros' retreating figure.Cansil's eyes were fixed on him, but he didn't say a word.Just when I thought I would be able to reach out to him, Cansil tightened his grip around my hand, then began to pull me inside the hall.I wanted to resist, but an invisible force kept pushing me forward.I didn't know I was drooling until he mentioned it to me.“Is it about that waiter? He must be drunk that's why he did that” Cansil said.“He is not drunk” I screamed in my head as I replayed his retreating figure.I wished I could dash out of the hall without Cansil noticing.I shook my head to shake off the thought of Eros off, then began to feed my eyes with the guests who were loitering around.I couldn't wait for the party to wrap up so that I could retire home.As for Neara, she was nowhere to be found. For some weird reasons, , I wanted to know where she was and what she was up to.I was about to mention her absence to Cansil when the master of ceremo

SIRAAt first I didn't want to let him kiss me, but he was insistent and soon I was giving in to him.As soon as she could reach me, as soon as he did, he grabbed my nape, threaded his fingers into my hair, and then buried his face in my neck.I could perceive his scent, and it was intoxicating. I could feel his energy as he kissed down my neck, as he did …He made a masculine noise of satisfaction that I could feel deep in my stomach , it was as though he was kissing soul.I leaned into him, I could feel the energy he was kissing me with, I could taste the anger that was in it as well, as it was all over me— a feeling filled deep inside of me before it settled into a weight between my legs. I rocked back, not fighting him.I could feel the lightning bolt exploding in my chest and fizzing through my veins at that moment, the dark feeling was radiating through my veins…My breasts pressed against his hard, warm abs and a shiver rolled through my entire skin. He ran his face up and do

SIRAWhen I checked the caller's ID, it turned out to be Cencil. My first instinct was to decline the call, but after a few seconds of weighing my decision, I allowed my phone to ring until the lines disconnected.Pushing my phone back into my pocket, I returned my gaze to Eros, only for my buzzing phone to cause another distraction.Knowing, fully well, that it was Cencil, I decided to ignore it but Eros asked,“Isn't it important?”I didn't want to let him know the identity of the caller, so I flashed a smile at him as I rose.“I will come around” I said, then turned to leave.I was glad when Eros didn't try to stop me.When I got to the road, I immediately flagged down a cab to take me to my mother's house.I needed someone to speak with, and it turned out she was the only one available to hear me out.All through the ride to my mother's house, my phone was ringing non-stop.I wasn't in the mood to speak to him, at least for now, hence I ignored it.The day was bright, just like my

EROSI was pissed when Sira's phone rang for the second time.Just when I thought I would be able to share my thoughts with her, someone decided to steal her away from me.After checking the caller's ID, she slipped her phone back into her pocket and the next thing was, she was set to leave. She didn't even give me the chance to speak before she left my home after spending barely ten minutes with me.When she left, I groped my way to the kitchen, then emptied the remaining content of the bottle down the drain.I had lost interest in the liquor. Before leaving the kitchen, I took the liquid to cure any impending hangover. My next destination was my room. After a cool bath, I fell on my bed and almost immediately sleep enveloped me.When I woke up, it was already past noon.I was feeling light and dizzy. Thanks to the liquid, I didn't feel the acute headache that comes with a hangover.Yawning tiredly, I made my way to the kitchen to quench my hunger pangs.I was not in the mood to prep

EROS It was hard loving her when in fact I loved another …The chatter was low, as a song played from the room that looked too quiet .The soft lighting sparkled off the glass view of the room, I stood there in my midst as I stood in my black-suited form only highlighted it as he stood near the window.I didn’t know how it had happened, but I was drunk. The situation was warmth and filled with complacency, I couldn’t stop myself from heading toward what had to be the woman again.A couple of hours ago I had been a bit embarrassed when I had mistakened her for Sira, she didn't say anything but walk away with a smug look on her face that I couldn't describe. The problem was, if I stopped to show her how bad the whole situation was she would want to take advantage of me, there was the thought of Sira in my head.Deep in my mind, I wish I could have Sira all to myself even after what had done but it was hard to get over it .Or maybe that was only wishful thinking . . . She probably on

EROSI continued to stare at Davina as I wondered what was going on.I tried kissing her again, yet the same thing happened. For more than five minutes, I just stood there, staring at the lady in front of me.The more time I spent staring at her face, the more I regretted not reconciling with Sira.Strife isn't a good thing, yet we find it hard to let go and move on with life.We always held on to it like our second skin when there is a brighter side on the other end.If I had reconciled with Sira, the elders wouldn't have imposed anyone on me.It wasn't too late yet. There was still a glimmer of hope.“Hey, what are you staring at?” Davina asked as she leaned close.I took my eyes off her and turned aside. With each step she took towards me, I took two because I didn’t want to have contact with her.She irked me to the barest minimum, and I was ready to do whatever it takes to get rid of her.Suddenly, she flopped on the couch then buried her head in her thigh.I wondered what she wa

SIRAAfter Eros departure, mother walked in.She gave me a questioning look, which I pretended not to notice.Mom didn't buy my pretense, so she stomped towards the dining table I was leaning against and with her hand across her chest she asked,“What happened between both of you? It's barely up to a minute since you walked in, and now he is gone. What did you say to him, or what did he say to you?”I rolled my eyes at her question, but didn't say a word.“I'm speaking to you” mom yelled“Let me be. I have nothing to say to you” I yelled in return.I hated when mom tried to make me do things against my will. For crying out loud, I was grown up; hence I had the right to do whatever I wanted, how I wanted and when I wanted it.Before taking the decision to move in with her earlier that day, I had weighed the pros and cons.I knew we were going to be at loggerheads most times, but I had to give it a shot. Moreover, I didn't want anyone to barge into my home and start molesting me.I was

SIRAAlthough I was tipsy, I was still able to dance with Cansil just like the way other couples were doing.I soon got exhausted, and so I returned to the table we were occupying while Cansil disappeared into the crowd. He said he was going to use the restroom and would be back before I knew it.The more I looked at the bottle of half finished drink on the table, the more I felt the urge to empty it down my gullet. The only reason I didn't attempt it was because of the stories I had heard from party goers and also from my mom. When I was younger, mom always threw my unfinished drink if we left a table and each time she did that, I was always pissed. It was when she explained that some people have been drugged this way that I stopped being angry when she did this.I also did it to my friends so that they wouldn't be drugged too.Since Cansil had decided to spend the whole day in the restroom, I decided to take another bottle of liquor pending the time he would return.I ordered a new
