A week later… At Nairaland’s airport… A man and two dashing kids of around four to five years old got out of the plane. The boy was wearing a two-piece black and red joggers and jacket. His long hair was framed to one side of his face, covering one eye. On his left wrist was a red watch, while his right hand held a camera. At intervals, he took pictures of views he loved. Beside him was a cute girl of the same age, wearing a white top and black jacket on a black and white mid-thigh pleated skirt. Her knee-length black boot looked overly cute on her. On one shoulder was a small sized pink backpack. She wore a black watch on her left hand, while holding brown shades in her right hand. “Nairaland’s airport is not as bad as I thought,” the boy said as he took a picture. “Indeed, I told you, you’ll like this place,” the handsome man smiled. “I don’t think so, I smell bad energy.” The cute little girl with hair packed in two ponytails said curtly. “Has there ever been a thing that i

Inside the event hall of the hotel, with lots of seats filled with people, both from the entertainment industry, the business world and even the dark world, Asher Walkers, walked to the last table and sat together with CEO Mika who also has a thing for back seats. CEO Mika, who was wearing dark shades and sitting quietly, ignored the person who just took the same table as her. She didn't find it relevant to look at him. Her eyes were busy scanning through the crowd to see if she would spot Ash, the underworld lord. Asher on the other hand, only gave CEO Mika a fleeting glance before focusing on the stage. Sitting among those at the front tables were Mrs. Wales and Cullen Walkers. After a few more minutes, the hostess walked onto the stage and greeted everyone, introduced herself, and the purpose they were gathered. "There are a few outstanding items to be sold here today. From the legendary Princess Xinyan's jewelry to DD group of companies. The first item on our list is…" Neither

Now, it was only CEO Mika and Cullen Walkers that were remaining in the race. But that didn't make Cullen feel relaxed at all. He knew that the Underworld Lord, Ash, was somewhere and hadn't said a thing. Also, Asher seems to be here for the company too, Cullen has no plans on giving up. Unbeknownst to him, he'd be kicked out soon enough. "$31,000,000!" Cullen yelled."$35,000,000!" CEO Mika raised her placard. The big shots finally decided to join. "$50,000,000" "$55,000,000!""$56,000,000!""$60,000,000!""$100,000,000!" Cullen yelled. "$500,000,000!" Mika shot the bid high.Everyone paused and looked behind them, it was CEO Mika again. They sighed, such a rich woman. A lot of bidders withdrew, leaving three people. "$600,000,000!""$800,000,000!" Cullen raised his placard. "$1,000,000,000!" The new businessman yelled. Everyone stayed silent for a long time before CEO Mika proclaimed; "$12,000,000,000!"Cullen wanted to bid but stopped and looked at CEO Mika. He balled his

CEO Mika leaned forward, "Are you threatening me, Mr. Cullen Walkers?" "Pfft...Not at all… of course, not," he chuckled. "It doesn't seem like it, the ball is in your court, do what you deem fit but if you think I'll be scared, you're mistaken. I'm not interested in dealing with your company." She got up to leave but Cullen also bolted to his feet and smiled, "CEO Mika, you're taking things too seriously." He stretched his hand but CEO Mika stepped back and smiled. "Mr. Walkers, is this meeting personal?" Cullen also smiled faintly, "Actually… Yes. I–""Have a nice day," Mika didn't wait another moment and left. After she left, someone walked in with a camera."Boss," he handed the camera to Cullen. Glancing at the photos that were taken of him and CEO Mika, Cullen smiled. "You like her, don't you? I'll make sure you never get your hands on her." He said to no one. ...The next day, pictures of CEO Mika and Cullen, smiling over a meal surfaced in the business magazines with anno

At Nairaland's airport… Emma and the kids could be seen, standing by the entrance with a placard that had 'Welcome Mummy' boldly written on it. Aiden, like always, had his digital camera as he took pictures. Nadia on the other hand, had a large pink teddy bear held to her chest as she waited quietly by their godmother's side. "Godmother, isn't it time to raise the signal? People are coming out," Aiden said. "We wait a little longer. If your mother sees the sign from afar, you won't be able to take a fabulous photo of her shocked face," Emma smiled. "That's right! Wooo!" The child exclaimed happily. Nadia on the other hand, rolled her eyes but continued to mind her business. A few minutes later, Anamika, her Assistant, and a few guards were seen walking over in large strides. Nadia smiled when she saw her mother, "Mummy," she said under her breath. Seeing the excitement on his sister's face, Aiden looked forward. He knew that the few reasons his sister could be so happy was whe
