Lucas sharply stood up, he also brought out his wolf, his eyes glowing red, he roared loudly before running to attack Kai.Both men began fighting viciously and Astrid frantically looked around as she thought of what to do.The guards on seeing what was happening wanted to attack Kai, but Dan immediately blocked their way, growling dangerously at them. Each wanting to protect their Alpha's, the guards roared loudly before attacking Dan and another battle ensured between them. When Astrid saw Dan and the guards fighting, she gasp. "Oh no, this is bad." She muttered, her eyes darting between both people."Kai! Lucas! Stop it right now!" She yelled, but they completely ignored her.Kai angrily slashed Lucas's chest, causing him to roar in pain. Lucas threw a punch at him, but he dodged and gave a counter attack. The whole commotion going on attracted the attention of everyone in the palace, Crystal ran downstairs and when she saw what was going on, she gasp in shock, even the triplets le

A couple of hours has gone by but Kayden is yet to wake up, Astrid couldn't stop worrying about him, she's even called the doctor countless of time to come and check up on him, but each time she tells her the same thing."He'll be fine Astrid, he'll be awake soon." She'll say.Even Lucas hasn't left their side since and he's also trying his best to put Astrid at ease.Currently, she sat at Kayden's side and hasn't let go of his hand, a lone tear slipped down her cheek as she looked at him, she was silently praying to the goddess for him to wake up and her prayers were finally answered. She felt Kayden give her hand a little squeeze and she moved even closer to him."Kayden, honey." She called excitedly. "Lucas come, I think he's waking up now." She said.Lucas hurriedly stood up from where he was sitting across the room and rushed to Kayden's side.Kayden's eyes slowly opened, but he shut them immediately due to brightness of the light, he waited a while for his eyes to adjust to it b

When Astrid has managed to calm down, Dan apologized once more for making her cry and bringing back memories that she only wanted to forget. He then suggest they changed the topic and Astrid was more than glad to do so."So you've got a wolf now." He said. Astrid smiled."Yeah, I have wolf now.""But how come? I mean everyone thought you were—""An omega." Astrid completed. "Even I thought so too, it took so so long for me to get her." She sighed. "I got my wolf few months after the birth of the triplets, it turns out that I was just a really really late bloomer.""Wow." Dan replied in amazement. "The kids really are a blessing.""I couldn't agree more.'' Astrid proudly replied."Will you be able to show me your wolf? It will amazing to meet her.""Err...I don't think you're ready for that," She smirked."How do you mean?" Dan asked, giving her a suspicious look.Astrid chuckled softly. "Nothing, I'm just saying you're going to be really surprised when you see her, she's magnificent."

"Let Kai out Jasper." Astrid said, she didn't think she was ready to talk to Jasper yet. If Kai was stubborn, then his wolf was even more difficult to handle, she knows Jasper too well."I'm furious right now, I'm extremely furious mate, how can you say you love another man, what should I do? Should I just kill him?" He smirked."You will do no such thing Jasper!" Astrid fumed."Why not? Do you think I'll sit back and let someone else claim you as his." He wrapped his hand around her waist and pulled her to himself.Jasper buried his face in her hair and inhaled her scent deeply, what he wants to do right now was have Lucas's head cut off from his body, but he was trying to calm himself down since he wouldn't want to hurt Astrid anymore than Kai already has.Jasper was never in support of what Kai had done to her, but Kai never listens to him and loves doing as he seems fit, now he has made their mate hate them, the whole thing was pissing him off.Astrid just stood still, she wanted

Kai replied.Kathryn scoffed bitterly, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Why? Because of a little mistake or because you hate me? I just told you the truth! Why would I want to kill him for no reason, he did something and that resulted to his death!" She seethed. "Weren't you the one who asked for me to be locked up and your useless guard tried to take advantage of me in my weak state. What kind of an Alpha are you if you can't stand up for your own people! Do you really think I would lie about something this grave?" She asked in disbelief."We can't tell if you're saying the truth Kathryn, you already killed the guard and there's no way he can defend himself and give his own side of the story." Dan said and she sharply turned to glare at him."I'm sure you won't be saying this if it were to be your sister in this posit
