Artemis' POVI was already off duty when I met Hades walking towards the kitchen. He just stayed on the beach earlier, he wasn't in the mood to swim. He was just looking at the ocean. While watching him earlier, it was like seeing myself. I was always like that when I was having a deep thought."Are you going to eat now? Should I ask the chef to get you the food you want?” I asked him."No, thank you. My mommy will get me food. We will eat together," he sounded so formal. He didn't say it rudely, but I really feel that the distance between the two of us has gone too far. I just nodded before letting him pass by. I just watched him walk until he completely disappeared from my eyes.I just went outside and tried to contact Athena. I stayed far away from the guards that are taking turns right now."Good evening, Baby," I greeted Athena softly but her usually happy voice couldn't be heard."Good evening,

Artemis' POV"What do you mean?" I immediately stood up from my seat when I heard what my brother said."We are on our way to the hospital. I need to go. I just informed you. I'll call you again later," he said. He didn't wait for me to speak and immediately turned off the cell phone. My lips parted because of that call. My heart was pounding and anxiety took over me.I just looked at the anklet tracker on my foot. I have the key. Me and Macoy already worked to create a duplicate. I just don't remove it because I have no plans to run away yet. I was just making sure that Zelo won't suspect me but I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight if I don't leave to check on my daughter. I just dropped my tracker on the bed before I jumped out the window here in my room. I saw some guards who were serious about their work. Only three of them are awake now so I slowly approach them.I secretly knocked them down one by one. It wasn't difficult. But I can say that Zelo's guards are really a dif

Artemis' POV"Not yet, Baby..." I said to Athena so she poured before nodding at me."But I'll try to introduce you and him to each other someday..." My voice is almost like a whisper and unsure of what I'm saying to her."Does he know how to fight?" she curiously asks."He'll start to learn, he said..." I said, making Athena nod."I'll protect him while he can't fight yet then," she said so a smile gradually curved from my lips before I messed up her hair."I hope he wants a sister so we can be close, Mama..." Athena continued to say so I just smiled. I don't really know what to say. I don't know if I'll be able to bring her brother with me. I'm not giving up that idea but I know I'll have a really hard time doing that. My son has his complete family right now. He is happy with his father and Ms. Yu. Even if Ms. Yu sometimes acts rude, she's a good person to my son."He was also always ranked 1 at his previous school... And he was known as one of the youngest kids who won in a nation

Artemis' POVI did not speak to his question. I already said that I can die just for my daughter. He just kept looking at me. His anger subsided for a little while. I don't know if I read his eyes correctly or if my eyes are just deceiving me. He looked sad. He turned his back on me and it seems that he called Junio. He just called them to stop looking for me because I was already with him. I'll be really true to my words but before that, I should inform my brother not to talk about Athena whenever we text and call each other when we are talking about finding the culprit for the attempted kidnapping. Athena and I should be patience for a while. I just don't know if I can handle not talking with her for a while.Zelo turned to me when he saw that I was standing quietly on one side watching him."Let's go," he said coldly and walked towards the yacht first. I don't know where this yacht came from. I just obeyed and didn't argue with him anymore because he seemed to be in a bad mood alr

Artemis' POVWe already went back to Manila. Everyone didn't enjoy Zelo's stay on the private island in Cebu either. Hades and Zelo weren't in the mood to have fun. I also know whose fault is that but I can't just bring myself to regret it.My brother still secretly informed me about Athena. Well, just some coding that we came up with when we were still a child. I'm sure Athena misses me so much, but I've been missing her more these past few days.I can't even bring myself to be sad. Do I even deserve it? "I'll be the one to drop him." I immediately said when they were looking for someone to drop off Hades. "He wants any of the bodyguards except you," Junio said so my face remained with an unwavering expression. But deep down, it hurts me a lot to hear it. Hades really didn't want to see me at all and when it can't be help at all, he treats me like I'm just a ghost. I know that I have no right to be hurt by that because I did that to myself. I left him. Maybe I'm regretting all
