บททั้งหมดของ The Lycan King’s Bride: บทที่ 21 - บทที่ 30

The Lycan's POV:I casted a spell on her. It was temporary. I would not dare hurt her. She was my mate, remember. The woman the moon goddess had destined for me to have as a partner. As I walked through the woods, I carried her gently on my arms. We were on our way to the place I was staying. Her alpha's home, I was going to show him the mate I had chosen and maybe do as he had asked. She was asleep and looked so peaceful. I made sure to let her lay comfortably in my arms, I also avoided the rocky paths so she could sleep soundly.I did not want her to be stressed. She groaned in her sleep and shrieked sometimes and I found it very cute. She looked like a helpless kitten, the type I had as a child before it was attacked by my enemy. "You will be mine" I stroked her chin with my claw. I was gentle so I would not cause her more injuries.I heard her name was Amelia. It was the name I heard the werewolf call her when I reached into his mind. It was one of my powers, I could read some p

Maxwell held a bat in his hand while he was in his wolf form. Dried blood had stained its handle and its wood. I was in shock when I saw it."Amelia, I've missed you. Won't you say it back to me?"He spoke. My body immediately began to tremble. Miss me? After all he had done. What did he take me for?At that moment, the hurts, kicking and heavy punching no longer felt like a joke to me. It was as clear as day.Maxwell had hurt me and I had remembered it.I called out to my parents to come see what was happening at the door but no one answered. "Mother! Father!! Come see what Maxwell is holding" I called again but yet no one said anything to me.I started to feel heat from behind where I was standing and this gave me more heat inside of me."Mother! father!" I tried to call again and this time, when they did not respond, I turned to see what was going on.I was welcomed by a blazing fire. It was behind me and almost about to engulf me. It was coming from our living room and was nearly

Amelia smiled at him. She jumped out of the bed with excitement beaming on her face."You want to kill him?"Alpha Alex laughed, "Would that make you smile? I could do anything to make you happy, all you need to do is to smile. That's all"Her smile looked deeper. She was loving this gorgeous man."Alright, now, to the business of the day, Amelia, I want you, be mine"Amelia smacked her lips. Her smile was still on her face as she thought of what he said."You want me to be your mate? How different would you be from the mate I thought I had?"There was a moment of silence. Everyone's breath could be heard."So, with what I went through in mind, do you think I would really want a mate?"It was a tough question but Alpha Alex was ready to answer it."I understand your concerns and your plight, however, I am not your former mate. I will respect you, love you and make you happy. I have Alpha David here to confirm the kind of man I am. I will do nothing to make you shed a tear, I promise.

Arrangements had been made to take Amelia back and soon, everything was ready.Amelia was driven in Alpha Alex's car where she had her jaw hanging for the most of the ride, until they were halfway out of her own pack."You seemed surprised. What is the problem?" Alpha Alex asked her. His words broke through her thoughts and made her come back to reality.Amelia shook her head."I was just so surprised. I've never been here before and this life is amusing""What life?"He sounded so casual about it. But could she blame him? He was an alpha. That meant he was definitely used to the lavish lifestyle she was amused by."Oh no!" She opted to say, "it's nothing. It's just that I'm fascinated by the drive and charade everyone is having in your name" Alex shrugged. It was not a big deal to him, they were always like that to him.He tightened his grip around the steering wheel. At least he was the one driving. That or maybe he just wanted to be humble."I'm sorry if it bothers you but you wi

Amelia looked around Alpha Alex's mansion in amazement. It was truly wonderful. The walls were coated with grey paint and white finishings. The roof was black and neat. He had a side wall that had red bricks on them which gave her a feeling of walking on a red carpet. At the entrance, Amelia saw birds in a cage. They looked happy."They all look wonderful" she said as she got closer to them. Their light blue feathers and orange beaks shone brightly."They look beautiful" Alpha Alex smiled. "Thank you but not as beautiful as you"Amelia couldn't help but smile. His compliment was getting to her. "Come with me" he held out for her hand. Amelia gave into him. She followed him slowly until they arrived at his throne room. The door opened for Alpha Alex to walk through which he did boldly with Amelia in his arms. "This is where I have my meetings with guest and over there is where you and I will be seated"Amelia raised her eyes to see a high pedestal with two seats on it. She smiled."
