THE TRUTH I was worried for my child, that was it. But she was not going to turn me into her puppet just because she was carrying my child, I wouldn't let her.I was letting myself get worked up for no reason, she wasn't my wife, and I couldn't just wait for all this to be over. So she could get the hell out of my life.I was brought out of my raging thoughts by the ring of my phone. It was a call from my private detective. I picked up the call and didn't say anything, he knew what he was supposed to do, and I didn't have to speak." Everything you need to know has been sent to your email, pictures, video, and some audio recording." He said and I knew instantly that whatever he might have sent I wouldn't like it. " Good." I simply said before ending the call.I opened my mail and saw the message from him. As I clicked open, various images popped up and I recognized the lady in the picture instantly. She has caused a lot of trouble for me, recognizing her wouldn't be hard but she was

THE FIGHTI was expecting that he was going to hit me but he didn't. He just looked at me with an expression that I didn't understand and then he drew back from where he was hovering over me. And lay on the bed beside me. I didn't move, I was too afraid to.Even my breathing was still because I feared that I was going to anger him.But soon enough I heard light snoring like he was sleeping. And when I moved my head to the side he was indeed sleeping.Slowly and quietly I moved away from him out of the bed and then I opened the door and left the room. My lips were bleeding. I needed to stop it.I rushed down the stairs to the kitchen and turned on the tap as I took a towel and placed it under the hot water. Then I turned it off and let the water drip down. Then I squeezed it gently so I didn't burn my hand. Then I cleaned the blood using a hot towel to stop the bleeding.I heard footsteps rush to the kitchen and I didn't bother turning, I couldn't look at anyone with the way I looked.

HIS DARK SIDE I quickly dropped the spoon I held back into the container. I thought he wasn't going to notice so soon, I didn't even think he would care, what did he want this time? To finish off what he started." What are we going to do? He looked like he was going to start shooting all the staff one by one if they didn't tell him where you were." She said as she placed her hand on her forehead in frustration.I didn't know what to tell her, I got us into this trouble without thinking of a way to get us out." I have a feeling he would be interrogating me more than everyone, especially the fact that I'm the closest to you. But I wouldn't give him the answer he wants." This loyalty again." I should just go to him before people get into trouble," I said as I began to get up from the bed, but she rushed to me." What do you think you're doing? We didn't put all that effort just to be scared and run back to him without putting up a fight. See what he did to you just yesterday and I wo

THE THREAT I smirked in satisfaction as the maid turned to look at Jane in shock. Why was she acting so surprised? I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the exchange." Well, I missed you too my dear," I said as I beckoned her with my hand to come into the room and close the door." Rena, you can leave." She said to the maid who looked like she wasn't ready to follow the instructions until she grudgingly stood up and was about to walk out but I interrupted their little friendship party."No. No. No. She's going nowhere," I said as I had a full smile on my face gesturing to the maid to sit back down." Markus, leave Rena out of this, I've been avoiding you for a reason and we should talk about that." I thought for a moment before sending the maid a dead stare telling her to get out of my face. She hurriedly stood up looking between the two of us then she disappeared out the door leaving just the two of us. " I miss you," I said once again smiling at her and I watched her swallow suddenl

THE PAINFUL FEELING Dad? I turned to look between Markus and the man he just called dad and could see the resemblance between the two of them only that the other man looked older." Dad, why didn't you tell me you were coming over?" Markus asked the man as he walked over to him to hug him, and I could tell that they both had a strong relationship." Do I have to inform my son I am coming to his house? You know I like surprising you." The man said as they both laughed like a very funny joke was said forgetting that I was even there. Not until his dad looked at me with a raised brow." You have a woman?" At the question, Markus's eyes also turned to me.His laughter died as he looked at me as if I wasn't someone important. " No Dad." What was I expected? That he would introduce me as his wife or what? But the hurt each time would always come, I couldn't stop it." So who's she?" His father asked seeming quite curious about me." Let's get you settled, I'll tell you about everything, f
