Despite exposing his identity, no one believed him. His cover held up pretty well. Since Edmund was in trouble, Kaze had to intervene and sort out the issue quickly. “No matter who you are, you’re going down for messing with me,” Shia said without a care. He drew his weapon and darted toward Kaze. There was enough distance for them to fire their guns. However, it would not be wise because their companions were close by. It would be bad if they were hurt. Besides, they decided to attack since the guy needed to be taken down a notch. “Well, this is something. You’ve got guts.” Kaze confronted him without a weapon when the man charged toward him. As they engaged in combat, they got a good sense of each other’s strength and speed. Even so, they did not flinch. Instead, a look of respect crossed their faces.

“I’m not talking. Don’t bother asking me any questions. I dare you to kill me.” Silas remained stubborn, refusing to let up any information. At this point, all he sought was a swift end to his suffering.
