Lahat ng Kabanata ng Take Me Back, Love: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

I blinked multiple times with my jaw gaped. "Your girlfriend?" A frown appeared on my face.I'm your ex-girlfriend, Alvin."Yes, Sam." He said through a fake smile. "This is my Mom and she has been dying to meet you."I frowned at him. "But...""It's so nice to finally meet you. I never believed Alvin already got back with you. I didn't believe him a bit when he told me that you guys broke up, not to mention believing she's a really beautiful one like you. I'm Trisha." She smiled with the small of her teeth in view. She didn't know? When it was patently obvious that his Mom wasn't looking, Alvin glared at me; a glare that warned me to go along with the flow. That didn't stop me from feeling pissed off by his lie."Trisha?" Why did that name sound so familiar? "That name sounds familiar and you look very familiar." I squinted my eyes, trying to remember where I had seen her or heard her name."I'm the owner of Risha's products; Risha's perfume, shoes, magazines..." she said proudly a

Obviously noticing my presence, he raised his head to me, shoved his phone back into his pants pocket then started out the door. I quietly followed behind him, not walking too fast nor too slow, just to keep tailing behind him. He walked so confidently and proudly, like he was royalty, obviously calling for attention from everyone around. He stopped walking all of a sudden and I had to do so too, wondering what was wrong now."Don't walk behind me, I hate it when people that aren't bodyguards walk behind me." He said in more of a whisper."Okay, Sir." I stepped forward, standing beside him.He sent me a sideways glance, resuming walking. We got to the elevator, stepping into it after it opened. It traveled us to the ground floor, re-opened then we resumed walking. Gosh, I knew it was only because of him but that didn't stop me from feeling important as people got out of the way to form a wide path for us, bowing formally in greeting. As we passed different corners, hefty men appeared

I got out of the taxi, took my travel bags from the trunk then paid the man. I pulled my bags, as well as myself, all the way to the company's Parking lot, stopping beside Alvin's car. A man helped me out with taking my bags away to a different car then he got into it and started driving away. I didn't know where he was taking them to but I could tell it was meant to be. I rested against the car, waiting for a few minutes before Alvin finally arrived. He had bodyguards tailing behind him as he strutted to his car."Good evening, sir." I greeted, separating my body from the car."Good thing you're not late." He replied frigidly, indicating that I stepped aside from the car door which I obediently did.The driver opened the car door for him then he slowly got into it. I turned around the car and opened the door for myself, getting into it then shut it. The Driver got in, starting the car."France, as well as his secretary, Jovi, will be going with us. It's a joint business between 'Vin

STILL ALVIN'S POVAfter waving France off, the elevator transported me to the 7th floor where mine and the Hotel room I had deliberately planned to share with Imogen were. The elevator doors separated, permitting me to scuttle out of it and to ROOM 7K. I inserted my card into the right hole, unlocking the door. I stormed in and hastily shut the door. The lights were on, indicating Sam had switched them back on.Staggering to the sofas, I sat down on one of them, resting my head against the back of the sofa, and shut my eyes. France's words couldn't stop reeling in my head. Did I have to openly express my emotions to Sam? That was something I hated doing, I couldn't imagine walking up to Samantha Reese and saying, 'Reese, I love you so much. I still love you for almost seven years now, right from the very first day I met you. Can we get married?' Gosh, that was going to sound so lame, obnoxious, and unprofessional. What was I going to do, I couldn't continue this torturous way of li

'Alvin, she's not a baby, she can be by herself' My inner mind (if that's a thing) said to me."Aren't you leaving?" She stared at me again with bored eyes.Without a word, I turned around and took my leave. Mom hadn't stopped calling. The call ended but she called again almost immediately. When I was certain I had reached a spot where the noise from the club wasn't going to serve as a disturbance, I finally answered her call."Hi, Mom." I said in a gentle tone."Wow, not a grumpy response. Lemme guess, you're not engulfed in Work-related stuff at the moment?" "Yeah...""Explain it all," she chuckled."Do you need something?""I don't need something, someone else does."I raised a confusing brow at her. Knowing she couldn't see me, "Someone?""Yes, Amanda. She's here and she has the same complaint as me. She said she has arrived for a while now but you haven't been paying attention to her. You didn't even tell her you're now in Australia while she had a surprise for you today. She wa
