His Grandfather was back home. And calling him incessantly. Gabriel could only assume that meant trouble. The man was like ninety years old, he was also retired and he had promised to stay out of his business. Seemed like that was a lie.Gabriel wasn’t about to be bothered about all that, it was one thing he refused to add to his plate. That could wait. Besides, he knew his grandfather would go to DC first to see Elliot's mother. They had a weird relationship. They were unnecessary close and far too invested in the lives of the people around them Anyways he was tired. Exhausted. Canada had been a complete waste of time. He just wanted to get back home and have a nice dinner with Lori and kiss his daughter goodnight. He needed sleep, rest and a little bit of distraction. It also didn’t help that he had mounting sexual frustration. Ever since Emilia had been conceived Gabriel had been more careful with women. He knew what happened with Emilia was an accident but he decided to be more i

"We named him Jack." Mrs Fuller said after a long silence. "Jack Joseph Fuller."Lori nodded, forcing a smile on her face. Jack. That was a nice name. A lovely name even. "I'm sorry we hid him from you Lori. But you must understand. We were so angry..."Angry?!If they were angry then she must have been out of her mind, because as far as memory served her, she was the one who was rushed to the hospital, she was the one who gave birth to him. "We blamed you for everything. For his death.""Jack. Jack was our miracle baby. He was supposed to be the one who changed things for us.""Yoh have no idea how broken I felt when he died."Broken?! Lori scoffed. What about her? It wasn't exactly a walk in the park for her either."It was like all hope had been snatched away from me."Lori shook her head.No. They didn't have any right to make her feel that way. To make her feel like she didn't care about him too."He was my son.""My son."She repeated as she pointed to herself. "I put him u

"My phone is in my back pocket. Call the cops."Gabriel whispered to Lori and she looked at him in bewilderment."What?"She whispered back.Gabriel sighed, his eyes focused on the two men in front of him."Lori call the cops!"He said again. Almost raising his voice.Lori shook her head. She was smart enough to know that was pointless. And it'll only piss of Asher more and give him more information about them."No.""Let's just leave.""Leave?!"Gabriel exclaimed."How the hell can I just leave them after everything they just did!""Gabriel, please trust me on this. It's pointless. Let's just go."She had seen first hand how Asher and the police worked hand in hand together. She wouldn't be surprised if he had friends in the police force, even in Colorado. Besides, even with that they couldn't actually charge him for breaking and entering, she opened the door for him. Even if they decided to charge him for assault because he hit her Lori was hundred percent sure he would weasel his w

"I have a theory."Draco said as he flipped the pages of the old book. It was called the book of supernaturals. A small leather bound book that had information on every recorded supernatural. Gabriel had called Draco the minute he left Elliot who had been thoroughly confused by his request. Draco had come over quickly and Gabriel ushered him into his study and locked the door behind them. It was still early, too early for Lori to wake up so he knew they had a few more minutes to themselves before she woke up. "What is it?"Gabriel asked and Draco sighed. It was a long shot, but Lori seemed to possess most of the qualities of a long lost supernatural he himself had never seen or heard of before. He didn’t know for sure if it was true, but with everything that Gabriel had told him, it sounded pretty accurate. "They're called the Naphil.""Naphil?"Gabriel asked. Well, okay he had never heard of such a supernatural before and he knew a lot of supernaturals. "Or, more commonly known

Nothing seemed to matter anymore. Nothing. They were engulfed in the kiss. They were engulfed with each other. All Lori could feel was the strong body pressed against her and the firm hands that were around her. She wanted to explore every inch of him. A few days ago if he had tried to kiss her she might have tried to deny herself of him, of that pleasure. But no, not this time. Because she couldn't even continue to pretend. She couldn't hide her feelings for him anymore. During that moment, she knew she wanted more of him, way more than she had ever cared to admit. Her hands were in his hair, pulling him even closer as he explored her mouth with his tongue. Gabriel lifted her by the waist and hoisted her up on the counter, his hands gently cupped her lower back and Lori instinctively wrapped her legs around him. His arms were strong against her, his lips soft. He tasted like mint and smelled irresistibly sexy. There was an electric charge between them that Lori had not expected.
